Having dealt with this company many times I can say their products and customer service are always brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble!

Waiting times are fairly abysmal... haven't received item yet. When I ordered the beam it stated it will be dispatched between 5-10 business days. I called today to ask where it was as I've had no updates/contact and it had gone over this time. The lady on the phone said 'it's no longer 5-10 days it's now changed to 15 days'... didn't fancy updating me/sending out an email to all customers? I asked her for an approximate delivery date and all she said was 'I can't give you one but hopefully it will be dispatched at some point next week' and that was that. From speaking to them it now seems I won't receive it until end of September, possibly beginning of October. Terrible waiting times for a plank of wood! Definitely wouldn't use them again.

* UPDATE *
About ten minutes after leaving this review I received calls, a voicemail and an email about the review but didn't respond. Miraculously I then received several emails telling me it had been dispatched straight away and I will be receiving it tomorrow. Funny that!

* SECOND UPDATE *
The order was dispatched to my home address two days ago (as per their response) and I received an email stating I would have received it yesterday. I checked today and could see it is now heading back to their warehouse (without any attempts of it being delivered to me). My partner just called them and they said 'we didn't like the review she left us so we decided to just take it back, she should get a refund in the next week.' Me and my partner just burst out laughing! I haven't received any calls or emails from them telling me they're not bothering to send it anymore / a refund / cancellation of order / that their feelings were really hurt. The most unprofessional company I've ever ordered from! The man on the phone sounded so awkward, probably because he realised this is how 5 year olds act. Me and my partner are still chuckling!

I was initially apprehensive to pay almost £200 for a pair of shelves; however, I am very happy with my purchase. I ordered two 1200mm floating oak shelves from Traditional Beams, and they are of very high quality, and the customer service is excellent. I initially emailed before my purchase to query what fixings could be used for timber studs. I promptly received a response pointing me to the correct product, and they clarified that they could position the fixings to match my measurements. I sent them a drawing following this, and I received my order in less than two weeks with the correct fixing positions. They even threw in an extra plasterboard fixing free of charge as the end of my shelf just missed a stud. I will be ordering more shelves from here in the future.

Really pleased with Traditional Beams. I ordered a beam for a new fireplace and the colour didn't really work. They were really helpful and accepted a return without any fuss. They even helped to match the colour and sent out a colour chart. When the beam was manufactured they sent photos before dispatch to make sure we were happy with it. All in all a great product and exceptional customer service. Special thanks to Catherine and Carly. Highly recommended

I'm so happy with my oak worktop and windowsill from Traditional Beams. Their quote was quite a bit cheaper than other suppliers, so I was a bit concerned that the product might be lower quality. I needn't have worried - the quality of the customer service, manufacture and delivery of the products was outstanding from beginning to end. Their staff were incredibly patient and helpful in making sure I got what I needed to fit my wonky room. I'm so pleased with the end result - I really can't recommend them highly enough!

We don’t usually leave reviews but we wanted to make sure we did for Traditional Beams.
The buying experience online was great and after reading their fantastic reviews on Trust Pilot we decided to purchase our beam from Traditional Beams.
After buying the beam we were kept updated throughout the whole process from manufacturing to delivering our item.
We were both completely over the moon with what we received. The colour was exactly what we wanted and the beam has lots of ‘personality’ which is equally what we wanted. We have had so many comments from friends and family as to how good it looks.
Thank you for providing such a quality product, we our renovating our property and have been let down so many times by suppliers and/or quality of things we have purchased - this was not the case with our new beam. Thank you!
