Rude Staff and terrible customer service

I’m currently stuck in the Middle East because of the ongoing war I’m due to fly next week and my airline told me that I am able to rebook from now till June. I ask my sister to call for me and confirm my call. The person who picks up is called Anant he tells my sister that I should book Turkish airlines but all airports are closed. She previously explained to him that Gulf Air is allowing us to rebook for free he tells her call Gulf air the when Gulf air told us to contact this agency. He the ends the call mid conversation. So rude and unhelpful. Terrible customer service.

Rude customer service team

I have been using Travel Trolley for nearly 20 years, but the experience I had yesterday was extremely disappointing.

I booked a ticket without realising that the baggage allowance included only 7 kg of hand luggage. Shortly after booking, I received a call from customer service informing me that I could add one piece of luggage for £22. Unfortunately, I was driving at the time, so I could not make the payment immediately.

To my surprise, within just 3 minutes I received an email saying the offer had expired and that I now had to pay £67 for the same baggage. I immediately called back hoping to resolve the issue.

The advisor I spoke to was very rude and did not allow me to explain the situation. I then requested a call back from a manager. Later, a manager named Parag called me, but the experience was even worse. He was extremely rude, constantly interrupted me, and refused to let me finish my explanation. At one point he even said “I don’t like your attitude."

After two decades of being a loyal customer, this level of poor customer service, lack of professionalism, and zero willingness to help was shocking.

Very disappointing experience. I expected much better treatment from a company I have trusted for so many years.

Currently have flights booked to Abu…

Updated Edit - now 30th March.

Did hear from travel trolley by phone twice and they have managed to get a full refund from royal jordanian for me and communication has been good.

They did a good job in the end.

However It was a shame it took so long for them to discuss with me but I do appreciate they are unindated.

I still stand by my original post that their agents sadly have poor English and I feel this is why I would not use them again. It was extremely frustrating trying to speak with someone for weeks and when I did get through the calls were hard work.

Currently have flights booked to Abu dhabi which we are unable to use due to the conflict there. Called multiple times to discuss options and cannot understand staff. Very very poor English. I called many times to reach someone I could understand and didnt. Just keep being told flights are scheduled as normal. They are not acknowledging that a war is currently going on.

Huge lesson learnt to go via a bespoke agent even if it costs more. Or direct.

Sort it out travel trolley!!! Disgusting service!!!!!

1 star – Do NOT book with Travel Trolley!
I paid for a Virgin Atlantic flight (VS301 DEL to LHR) through Travel Trolley, but they never sent any e-tickets or proper confirmation. When I contacted them, they claimed the flight was “cancelled” and tried to pressure me into repurchasing at a much higher price.
Virgin Atlantic confirmed today (March 14, 2026) that the flight is running normally tomorrow, and there is NO RECORD of any booking or ticket issued in my name. This means they took my money without ever booking the flight – pure deception!
Customer service is unresponsive, unhelpful, and full of excuses. I’m now fighting for a refund via my bank/chargeback, but they’ve wasted my time and stressed me out right before travel.
Scammy practices – book directly with the airline instead. Avoid this company!

Terrible experience so NOT AT ALL RECOMMEDED. They charged me around 170 quid for changing return date. The confirmed booking was cancelled owing to air space closure. Applied for refund via customer support which was again more than pathetic. Every agent comes up with different info on same query, long hang ups without engaging the customers in a least professional way. Very sweet at the time of booking and afterwards they don't give it a damn. Still awaiting my refund.

Bad communication

I am writing to make a formal complaint regarding my booking made through Flights Trolley.

The flights I purchased were cancelled, and I have been trying to obtain a refund for a considerable amount of time. Unfortunately, the process has been extremely difficult, and I have not received clear assistance or a resolution.

Due to the lack of response and progress, I have already contacted my bank and initiated a dispute for the transaction. However, I would still prefer to resolve this matter directly with your company.

Please review my case urgently and provide confirmation of the refund process and the expected timeline for receiving my money.

Worst Travel Experience I've ever had

Worst Travel Experience I've ever had. I would never ever consider using Travel Trolley, Southall or any other associated agents again! It has taken me almost 3 months to get my refund for a cancelled flight, I have been shouted at, laughed at, ignored and fed full of excuses! British Airways refunded my money to them in Early January and they refused to give it back! Finally received a cheque through the post this morning…now let’s see if it clears 😬. I wish I had read reviews before I booked and hopefully others will see all these negative reviews and book elsewhere! All the positive reviews on here are clearly fakes! Please DO NOT book through these companies!

Very disappointing experience with Travel Trolley. I booked a Gulf Air flight from London to Lahore for £330, but due to an emergency, I needed to travel earlier. I found a new ticket for the date I needed for only £290, I asked to reschedule it, yet Travel Trolley demanded an excessive £260 to reschedule which would make my new total cost £590. When I contacted Gulf Air directly, they confirmed they do not charge such a high amount for this kind of change. The lack of transparency and poor customer service was extremely frustrating. I strongly suggest not to book with Travel Trolley, as their service is unprofessional and untrustworthy. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid

We are genuinely sorry to learn about the negative experience you recently had with Travel Trolley concerning your Gulf Air booking. However, we must clarify that an amendment fee will always be charged in addition to any disparity in fare whenever a passenger requests a change in travel date.

With Gulf Airline, the penalty fee for changing the date is £150.0. Our administration fee plus the difference in fare, at times, amounts to more than the cost of a new ticket.

This is the most ridiculous website…

This is the most ridiculous website ever. I har booked my flight with them and now that flights are cancelled they are not even answering the calls so that at least I can rebook or anything, i went in to their app so that I can check my tickets and they are saying error occurred. This is highly unprofessional and unreliable people. I would never ever book any flight with them and i will always tell people to never go with these people, they are frauds who doesn’t understand anyone’s situation and shuts their phones so that no one can call them. I will never let anyone book through you guys.

Due to the issue happening with the war

Due to the issue happening with the war, our flight with Emirates was cancelled. I called Travel Trolley for a refund as we don’t know when this war will end.. and Mr Rahul helped me with the refund and will all the details.
