Booked tickets online tonight - money was taken from my account and yet I received NO booking reference or ANYTHING from them!
I called "customer service" (oxymoron) and they literally couldn't be bothered - weren't interested and totally blazè about the fact that almost £1300 had disappeared from my bank!
Just awful in every way!
Now it is ME who has to run around contacting my bank to try and sort it out because these clowns have zero interest in helping customers!

I booked flights on May 10th through Skyscanner. Shortly afterwards the route was cancelled by the airline Air india. Travel trolley did not let me know but did confirm when I called them 2/9 that the flight no longer existed. I requested I was emailed my options so I could discuss with my friend before deciding what to do next. They didn't and still hadn't informed me the flight I'd booked didn'texist apparently i was in a queue to be told. I called again on the 16/9 when they offered me flights on an alternative route they went back and forth their end and eventually offered me several partial refunds (with the final offer I'd of effectively be paying 100£ per person over what they were selling them for on Skyscanner which was also already £80 more than if I'd purchased at the beginning of the month) so I requested a full refund. I was told (shockingly) that this would take 4 to 6 weeks, 6 weeks was yesterday still no refund or even an apology in my communications blaming the airline and quoting I was told at least 4 to 6 weeks implying this meant beyond 6 weeks I'm unsure what to do next do i seek legal advice? but will never book through them again and would strongly advise others not to either.
I would give zero stars if I could right now.

You may understand the importance of effective communication but my experience is a distinct lack of any communication re a cancelled flight. I have called several times and the airline has been blamed for the delay in my refund, yet they typically refund within 7 to 10 business days, meaning it would have been with you by the end of September. Travel trolley i have added the information you asked for.

I still do not have my refund. I have called sooo many times along with email correspondence. When I last called on the 4/11 I was told it would be with me in 24 to 48 hours I have just called again 72 hours later and been told it'll be with me in 24hrs. Travel trolley you have the details you asked for but haven't responded further??

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Travel Trolley.
Due to the unexpected cancellation of my appointment at the Azerbaijani Consulate, I contacted the company to either refund or reschedule my flight from Aberdeen to London. Instead of receiving understanding or assistance, I was told there would be no refund and that I would have to pay £154 over the initial price just to change the travel dates, even though the current fare for a return ticket on the same route is only about £75.
This is completely unreasonable and feels like taking advantage of customers who are already facing difficult circumstances. I expected flexibility and fair treatment, but instead, I encountered rigid policies and unhelpful service.
I am deeply unsatisfied with how this situation was handled and will think twice before booking with this company again.

Totally miss sold holiday. False advertising. Stayed at Infinity by Yelken in Kusadasi Turkey. Definitely not a 5 star. More a 3. No entertainment staff interaction apart from the kids club lady Dora who made my granddaughters holiday. My granddaughter is 14 loves the water aerobics and polo etc. There was only 2 games of polo in the complete 2 weeks.
Entertainment was in a dingy hall at the top of the hotel. When it was plenty warm enough to have outside. Staff were miserable we took £200 in tips for the fortnight. Brought nearly all of it back. Only tipped bar staff in lobby, al a cart waiter, Dora, the cleaner round the pool, and the room cleaner.
We ate. Out 4 times another expense because the all inclusive food was lukewarm warm or ice cold, when it should have been piping hot!
We were afraid of getting a stomach bug so only ate food that was cooked in front of us, mostly chips and eggs in the morning.
The transfer back to the airport was horrendous. I have a spinal stenosis and arthritis in my knees. Visibly disabled but was sat at the back of a full minibus on a seat that was not fixed in. I had to battle to keep from crashing into the seat in front.
Resulting in me finding it terribly hard to walk when we got to the airport and now I’m home I am still in a lot of pain.
We had reservations about this hotel before we left but Travel Republic, although they say you can change hotel. Would not allow it!

An unprofessional and disappointing booking experience with Ranbir which I have already fed back to him but felt it needed to be stated more formally to Travel Trolley.
We agreed on the phone for a price of £8500 for the holiday. I then received an invoice for £8525.88. I queried this with him and he then sent an invoice for £8505.88. I queried it with him again and in the end he sent an invoice for £8500.88. It was unclear why we needed to go through this process over a matter of £25. Please either stick to the agreed price on the phone or don’t accept the business - it really shouldn’t be any more difficult than that for customers. I felt as if he was trying to take me for a fool.
Similarly when it came to Payment which was done in stages. On 1 occasion he asked me for a payment of £3000 and then sent me a link for payment of £3500 - again he didn’t stick to his word on the phone which is unacceptable, customers should be treated with more respect than this.
The third issue was that I wanted to pay via American Express card due to my billing cycle meaning I wouldn’t have to pay off the holiday until later on. I received multiple mixed messages regarding why I could and then eventually couldn’t do this. At one point Moksh sent me a link to pay by Amex but then this miraculously got cancelled within a few hours and the link became invalid. Travel Trolley staff need to have a clear policy on payments by Amex - I never received a satisfactory explanation as to why Moksh said yes and Ranbir repeatedly said no to payment by Amex.
Overall this is a company that appears to have little regard for sticking to their word and I spent a huge amount of time emailing and speaking to them so I would be very cautious about trusting Travel Trolley in future. There was simply no need for the booking process for a simple flight and hotel package to have been this stressful.

I had a fairly simple experience buying my tickets, it was a good price and very happy. What made the service knock out was a guy called Tanveer on customer service. I had an issue checking in, not only was it easy to get through, but Tanveer sorted out my problem and was really helpful.

Booked flights to London and received the confirmation fine, then received an email to say the payment was not authorised and I needed to now pay via a booking link to 'authenticate'. The booking has gone through and money taken from my account so I queried this, the responses were clearly automated or scripted with vague details and no explanation. Was then told it would be refunded, despite me never giving a response about the payment link. The refund took a long time, should have been 72 hours, I chased up and was told it was 5-7 days.
Absolutely avoid, waste of time, and unsure what they are gaining though this type of back and forth. Clear from other reviews this is a common experience.

I booked airline tickets with Travel Trolley via Skyscanner site and quickly got an email confirming the flight tickets and receipt of my money. The email said that e tickets will be issued within 3 days.
Three days letter I get an email to say that those flight tickets are no longer available and that they will give me alternate flights, which are at completely different times.
I am very dissapointed by the unprofessional attitude of this booking site, particularly as those flight tickets are now no longer available and the others have become more expensive.
NEVER TRUST TRAVEL TROLLEY AND DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.

I've had to write this as a warning. I have received an email today which has come via Traveltrolley, and has clearly been used for fraudulent activity. The information has been passed to the ICO. Any future customers may want to be aware that either the website isn't secure and/or personal details are being shared.

Avoid WORST Travel Agent
Extremely poor customer service and disregard for UK consumer law.
Their telephone agents are consistently rude and provide false or misleading information. My last three emails have gone completely unanswered.
My flight with Air India was cancelled in May 2025 due to political tensions. Communication from Travel Trolley has been appalling ever since. I had to repeatedly chase them for updates on my refund, only to be told the same line every time:
“We haven’t received the refund yet; please call back later to check the status.”
After months of this, during a call in September 2025, I expressed my frustration and said I would be claiming through my credit card. Suddenly, the agent changed his story, saying:
“Oh, actually, we’ve received the refund — it will take 14 days to send it out.”
That never happened. When I followed up again, they claimed a cheque had been sent — which also never arrived.
To make matters worse, they insist refunds are issued only by cheque, citing “company policy.” This directly contradicts Section 20(16) of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which clearly states that refunds must be made via the original payment method, unless the consumer agrees otherwise.
I made it clear I cannot accept a cheque and requested the refund via the original method or BACS transfer. I also reminded them that company policy does not override UK law. Despite this, they continue to delay and ignore communication, even after claiming the refund was sent (they later confirmed it wasn't sent out).
At this stage, I have lost all patience and trust in this company. I will now be reporting them to Trading Standards and proceeding with a credit card chargeback or small claims action to recover my refund.
It’s no coincidence that Travel Trolley has the same poor reputation as Southall Travel Group — they are part of the same company.
If you are in a similar situation, understand that you DO NOT have to accept a cheque. If they insist on this then I would urge you to report them to Trading Standards for breaching Consumer Rights Act 2015, Section 20(16).
Some banking institutions(Revolut, ANNA etc) do not allow cheque deposits so many will be in this scenario.
UPDATE AFTER CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSE ON THIS REVIEW ON 14/10/2025
This review prompted some action and I have received an e-mail asking for proof of payment as they state they have different details to my information provided by me previously. I provided the copy of the credit card statement which shows that the information provided previously to be correct, it has been two days since I provided this, they have not responded.
FURTHER UPDATE 16/10/2025;
They accept that the booking made was paid by another person other than the passenger (after receiving proof requested). However, they are refusing to refund the money to the person who paid for the booking and insisting on a cheque to be issued to the passenger. This clearly breaches UK Money Laundering Regulations (MLR 2017). I will also be reporting them for this as I suspect they will be doing this in other scenarios.

Absolute shambles, I have been waiting for a refund for my cancelled flights since the middle of June- They said it would take 4-6 weeks, nearly 4 months later and still not received it! They keep saying the request is with the airline but no urgency to get your money back for you. DO NOT BOOK FLIGHTS THROUGH TRAVEL TROLLEY! Go direct to airline instead- it will save you so much stress!
