Disappointing customer service
Purchased a skeleton door hinge jig
Jig was supplied incorrectly manufacturered
Called trend technical, first call I was assured the jig was correct
Second call to technical, he admitted it was incorrect
Arranged a pick up, inspection, then a delivery of new one within a few days which was fair
I asked for a gesture of goodwill for my wasted time on it , point blank refusal, "we don't offer compensation"
I then sent a complaint email to trend customer service and received the same typical answer from a big company, although we admit we were wrong, we're not going to do much about it
I think it's ridiculous, you admitted to selling something not fit for purpose but won't offer a small gesture as an apology
I purchased from screwfix and they did more than trend on the matter
I will always look for alternatives now before buying trend again, very dissapointed

I purchased a trend R/S jig but found…
I purchased a trend R/S jig but found the machine tolerance’s to be quite tight. I contacted trend customer service who assisted me with the set up. They offers additional advice on lubrication of tracks and general support.
I found all staff members knowledgeable and approachable, with a genuine desire to help.

Rang up and told the person the sizes of latch’s I was using and he gave me the code for the correct face plates for the lock jig. Package arrived and not one faceplate is correct

I had an issue with power switch
I had an issue with power switch, invaluable when using with tools . After contacting Trend they processed a return, repair and returned back ready to use within a week.

Great Technical Support
Had to order a part for my Router, Unfortunately I ordered the wrong part, but after speaking to the Technical department with the aid of a Photo, they told me exactly what part I needed and how to fit it, not often do you find exceptional service nowadays.
The part arrived the next day.

T33a dust extractor
Bought the t33a dust extractor, 18 months later it won't turn on, further inspection the motor brushes worn, simple fix, nope, trend don't do the brushes, I have to buy a complete motor.
At 18 months old this is very poor.

As i discussed with you over email, you have not registered for extended warranty, which would mean your machine does not fall within our guarantee. Trend Customer Service is excellent
I bought a Trend Snappy on Amazon but despite it being a clever design and great way to make the drilling and driving process more streamlined the little adaptor’s 2.5mm ball bearing housing failed making the device inoperable. Was the first time of using and I was very disappointed - BUT and this is the really good news…the customer service at TREND is awesome and jumped to my aid (seeing the recent invoice obviously) and replaced it by UPS express. Got it the next day. This is the sort of customer service we all dream of and it’s still available here in the UK. I’m now fully operational and noisy again. This is a great little time and teeth saving assistant to anyone’s DIY/workshop drilling, countersinking and driving …, Thank you so much Jack Thomson for helping me.

Great customer support
I purchased a measurer from Screwstation or Toolfix, and after a couple of years use the battery tray went missing. Couple of quick messages back and forth with Trend and they found a spare one they could send out to me. Fantastic customer service and I'm very grateful. Cheers Darren!
