Buy index funds instead
I fell for Trine as a beginner in investments, was appealed of both doing good and earning money. I did not earn money. This is not sound investments, the risk is very high since it is so few projects and it's probably way too low interest. Buy index funds instead and work on lower your own co2 emissions. Trine focus a lot on communication but when the projects are going bad the communication slowly disappears.

Returns are good, but the feeling is better.
I'm making a decent return on a diversified set of loans that make up a medium portion of my overall portfolio, and it just seems so immensely RIGHT.
If we could get more of this going, we could accelerate the green energy transition to an incredible degree.

I love that this company is trying to solve multiple problems at once! Climate change, poverty, access to clean energy. If you invest in a loan, you get to help whilst earning money (hopefully, there are no guarantees of course) as well. What's not to like?

Trine makes it easy to put your money to good use for people and planet. I have been investing since 2018. Investing is always a risk to loose money, but all my investments have been repaid so far. When some loan takers had problem with repaying the interest during the pandemic, Trine kept us investors well informed of their work, and in the end the situation was solved. Trine does good work!

Bra ränta med viss risk.
Lånar ut pengar till förnybar energi med goda intentioner att minska miljöförstöring. Tex köra truckar på solel istf diesel. Viss risk finns att projekten inte går bra men under mina sju år här har jag bara förlorat en summa som motsvarade ca ett års ränta, (hände under pandemin då ju enormt många företag hade svårigheter) och om pengarna stått på vanligt bankkonto hade jag ju knappt fått någon ränta alls.

This must be the definition of win-win. It feels very rewarding to know your money does something useful in the world and increasing in value at the same time.
I’ve invested around 20 000 € over the last five years, split between a hundred or so investments. Amounts between 25€ to 800€ per project. I’ve made 1600 € in interest so far. 98% of the loans has been payed back or are currently repaying. A couple of loans in the early days was defaulted due to military conflicts in the areas and other reasons. Since then Trine has changed their procedures and it’s been a smooth experience. My advice, however, is to do small investments and spread them out.

More than happy
I have invested in 84 different loans since 2020, and I am more than happy with trine. Sure, they are late with the repayments, a lot, but they always come and all my loans has been repaid as they should. As of now 250 Euros repaid interest, all reinvested, and no losses. I might just be in luck, or I’ve diversified enough :)
