I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with TrueCoach support.

I noticed recurring TRUECOACH.COM charges on our credit card and reached out for help identifying the account. I provided card details, statements showing the charges, multiple email addresses, and business domains associated with my company. After multiple back-and-forth emails, support informed me they could not find any active subscriptions or billing associated with the information I provided.

The frustrating part is that the charges continued while I was unable to identify or access the account supposedly connected to the billing. I’ve spent significant time trying to resolve this and felt like I was repeatedly being asked for the same information instead of receiving a clear resolution.

I’m sharing this because I believe recurring billing issues should be handled more efficiently and transparently. I’m hoping this situation gets resolved, but so far the process has been disappointing.

Terrible service for coaches, avoid. ITS GETTING WORSE DAY BY DAY.

I honestly hate leaving reviews like this because I’ve used TrueCoach for years and built a massive part of my coaching business around the platform. But at this point, I genuinely cannot recommend it to other coaches.

The reliability has become unbelievably poor.

Over recent months there have been repeated outages, extended downtime and now multiple huge maintenance windows that have directly disrupted my business operations. This isn’t just a slight inconvenience where an app is slow for a bit, this is software that coaches rely on to actually run their businesses day to day

When TrueCoach goes down, clients cannot access their programmes, coaches cannot see sessions, programming work cannot be completed, classes have to be adjusted on the fly, clients start messaging asking what is going on and ultimately WE are the ones left looking unprofessional.

As someone running a gym and online coaching business in the UK, the handling of all this has been even more frustrating because everything feels completely US-centric.

The latest “scheduled maintenance” was supposed to last 8 hours starting late evening US time, which conveniently meant it wiped out huge portions of the UK working day while most US users were asleep. It then massively overran anyway. Now they’ve announced ANOTHER 12 hour maintenance window during UK business hours less than a week afterwards.

The suggested solution was to "tell clients to screenshot their workouts beforehand". Imagine a professional company asking that.

That is not a serious contingency plan for professional coaching businesses paying a rather large (possibly overpriced) monthly subscription to run their entire operation through your platform.

The part that has frustrated me most is the customer support and communication afterwards. I sent multiple detailed emails outlining serious operational disruption, reputational damage with clients, reliability concerns, UK timezone/support concerns and requests for accountability and compensation.

Yet I repeatedly received generic copy and paste responses about clearing cache, refreshing browsers and reinstalling apps, responses that clearly weren’t even addressing the actual concerns being raised.

At one point I was explicitly told my concerns had been escalated to senior leadership and would be formally reviewed. I then heard absolutely nothing for over two months until i ended up emailing about another outage.

That is an embarrassing level of customer handling for a company providing business critical software.

What makes this even more frustrating is that TrueCoach actually DOES have some really good features. That is the only reason I stayed. Like many long term coaches, I’ve invested years building programmes, exercise libraries, client histories, systems and workflows into the platform, which makes leaving incredibly difficult.

That’s exactly what it now feels like, coaches are trapped by the amount of work they’ve invested into the ecosystem while reliability and customer support continue to decline.

At this stage, my confidence in TrueCoach is extremely low.

The repeated downtime is bad enough. The lack of accountability afterwards is what has really destroyed trust.

As a gym owner with 200+ active TrueCoach users it's a disaster when you get bombarded with frustrated clients in the gym not being able to access the app and see their training on a Sunday at noon due to app down because of maintenance. This has happened several times. Costumer support is sorry for the inconvenience yada yada but it still continues. Would not recommend the app to serious trainers or gyms. Very unreliable.

Very very average. Only thing they updated and changed in the last 5 years is the price increases

I am a client of a subscribing trainer.
True Coach cut me off & locked my data as my coach is "inactive" or didn't pay subsription on tme?
There is nil support for me to continue training unless my trainer bends to TC demands. Reeks of corporate bullying. In Australia there are penalties for organisations that do this. In America it appears to be encouraged. I would give nil stars for True Coach if Icould.

Es una muy buena app, muy intuitiva y fácil de usar. La manera en la que esta diseñada hace que la planificación de los entrenamientos asi como la visualización por parte de los clientes sea muy sencilla.

a little expensive but easy to use for the most part

I love this platform for fitness coaching and training programs. It allows you to guide and motivate all your clients with proper form when training and keep them on track to reach personal goals. I will most definitely keep this going for all my clients and athletes.

Allows me to programme in advance, to keep track of clients and communicate with them efficiently.

I've been using TrueCoach for several years and they just keep adding more valuable features and making it more user friendly for coaches and clients alike. The customer service is also wonderful, and they have helped solve any issues I've had very quickly!

Perfectly what I need, simple, ergonomic. The perfect tool for my coaching. It's been around 6-7 years, still satisfied. Even if it became quite expensive (compared to other competitors), The quality of the product makes it hard to leave.

I would like to see the DM feature a little more user friendly and engaging.

I’ve navigated away from using it and now texting my clients via messaging app

great app but for the love of god please let us create folders to store workouts in! i cant believe this isnt already on there

Once my coaching relationship ended due to my coach falling ill, I requested that True Coach delete my data. Support refused to delete my account, insisting I bother my ill Coach to do it for me. Seems very unreasonable that you can't control your only private data.

Additionally my coach will be moving his services to another platform noting True Coach as having an inferior user experience, and limited video integration, that messaging and responding on the app is sub-par to other offerings for a similar price point.

Agree with the other reviewer. I wouldn’t agree to work with a personal trainer again if they were using TrueCoach. It’s essentially money down the drain as you have no control over and no way to save or export your workouts.

Doesn't protect the users only the coaches.
