We moved house and need broadband and telephone to be installed, Pintu Ghosh was our point of contact all the time. He as very helpful when we increased the order for handsets, One of the big advantages of Trust-Business is that they answer calls very promptly and dealing with Pintu everytime was so much easier that starting afresh with a different person each time.

I have had awful internet problems throughout my contract and towards the end of my contract I changed bank accounts over so missed on payment (less than a month) they cut off my calls into my business for weeks without telling me, bear in mind I had only missed one bill for a few weeks at this point. they charged me an extra £20 bank fee and had no apology for loss of service. the internet problems they said was open reaches fault and said they couldn't give me any reimbursement for this.

UPDATE FOLLOWING THE COMPANY’S RESPONSE:

Their response misrepresents my complaint. I never said the broadband did not work. The issue was being left with two contracts and two bills.

The representative said I would pay only about £5 more per month for stronger broadband and that Trust Business would handle the transfer and cancellation with TalkTalk. I clearly said I would rather remain with TalkTalk than waste time on endless cancellation calls. That assurance was a key reason I agreed.

After VAT, the real difference was about £15 per month, while TalkTalk remained active, so I was expected to pay both providers. I disputed what I considered a misleading sale, cancelled the Direct Debit, and Trust Business restricted its service. TalkTalk later cancelled my original service, although I had contacted them only to check the contract status and termination cost, as Trust Business instructed.

I paid TalkTalk without issue for five years. I object to misleading sales and a difficult cancellation process, not to paying legitimate bills.

This is a long review, but it is worth reading because it sets out the full details of my experience with Trust Business. After reading other negative reviews, it appears that similar problems have affected many businesses that seem to form part of this company’s “bank of targets”.

My experience with Trust Business has been extremely poor and financially damaging to my business.

Their sales representatives were very persistent before I signed. They claimed they would provide a better broadband service for only around £5 more per month than my previous provider. I accepted on that basis, only to discover afterwards that the quoted price excluded VAT. The real difference became approximately £15 per month, not £5. This was not explained transparently and made the offer far less attractive than it had been presented.

They also assured me that they would contact my previous provider, handle the cancellation process on my behalf and deal with the early termination charges, after I clearly explained that I did not have time to spend hours on the phone arranging everything myself.

Instead, their engineer installed the new broadband while the previous service remained active, leaving my business with two internet services and two bills. They then required written confirmation of the cancellation amount from my previous provider before reimbursing it, while the previous provider was also making the cancellation process difficult.

The card machine was also presented as compatible with my existing system. I informed Trust Business within the first week that it was unsuitable, that I could not use it and that I wanted to return it.

Instead of dealing with my request promptly, they ignored it, delayed the process and allowed their alleged cancellation period to expire. The contract then became active, and the matter developed into a contractual dispute, with the card machine provider now demanding £180 in early termination charges.

The company may rely on its “Pre-Contract Summary” as a defence, but the existence of a document does not correct unclear verbal explanations, hidden practical consequences or deliberate delays when a customer raises concerns and tries to withdraw quickly. My complaint concerns how these agreements were sold and handled in practice, not merely whether paperwork was issued.

After reading other negative reviews, it is clear that my experience is not isolated. Other customers describe very similar issues involving verbal promises, unclear pricing, unexpected charges, poor support and difficulties leaving contracts. Readers should examine those reviews and judge for themselves whether this reflects a recurring pattern.

My direct and clearly identifiable losses already exceed £1,000 in charges currently being demanded from me, without even including the losses and disruption caused to my business by being left without internet for around two months.

Instead of aggressively pursuing new businesses and posting generic replies to negative reviews, Trust Business should focus on building an honest, transparent and professional service worthy of the money it charges.

In my personal experience, customers are treated more like targets than valued clients. It felt like being robbed through contracts and legal technicalities while receiving almost no meaningful service.

I will now refer the entire matter to the appropriate complaints and regulatory bodies. I do not accept these disputed charges and I will not pay a single penny voluntarily.

I strongly warn other business owners to avoid this company and never sign anything based on verbal promises.
