NUMEROUS TIMES IN WRITING AND OVER THE PHONE I ASK UK-DRIVE.COM TO CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION FEE BUT THEY ARE REFUSING TO DO IT. IT IS ACTIVE ON MY BANK ACCOUNT. CAN ONE OF THEIR DIRECTORS WRITE TO ME WHY PLEASE.

It's a complete scam; they withdraw £39 monthly from your account without providing any information. They've completely mimicked the official gov.uk website. Be careful.

I accidentally used this site whilst trying to update my driving licence address. Without any clear message explaining they are a subscription service I found I'd put my DVLA application through them. The site is very cleverly set out and they have covered themselves legally... But it is a deception. I'm £39 out of pocket with no apparent way of getting the money back.

Absolute scam, they sign you up to a monthly subscription in the fine print acting like the gov.uk website to change your driving license address then take monthly payments of £39.00. Ring your bank straight away and block payments. THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOU. Talk over you on the phone knowing full well what they’re doing, I feel sorry for people where that kind of money would seriously affect them. Considering you are doing the correct law abiding thing in the first place by changing your address!!

Scammers took money from my account when I had changed my address via the DVLA con artists that refuse to return funds which had been taken

Hi, I have replace my driving licence through gov website,two months ago.I just checked my bank and find out they took £39 as SUBSCRIPTION on 14th Oct. This is scam I’m soo upset! Today I contacted my bank and they luckily send it £ straight away back to my account,they will dispute these with tw&ts doing this scam on us people.

Please be careful if you’re renewing your drivers licence, make sure you use gov.uk actual website as these are acting on there behalf, plus it’s a lot cheaper to purchase on gov.uk plus these SCAM you and sign you up for a monthly subscription when you only want a one off payment to purchase your new license.

They are scammers.
Friend of mine renewed his driving license address on what VERY MUCH RESEMBLED DVLA site. But no, it was them. Then they tied him into MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION for 39 pounds a month
without any agreement or email confirmation!
He only noticed 39 pounds has gone out of his account , after 2
months!

They are scam artist!

Still trying to take £39 a month!!!!! And now a new payment of £2

Scammed me for £39 per month! I renewed my drivers license through dvla and was charged on a subscription basis when I did not agree to any of this through this website. I have emailed and not heard anything back.

This company is definitely a scam. I like everybody else on here went through the dvla website to renew my licence only to end up so says subscribing to these people
I definitely definitely never agreed to sign up for anything or go for a monthly subscription. Why would I want to pay £39 a month to renew a Driving Licence which is only £14 once every 10 years? It's also took me 3 months to realise 🤬

This company is just a fraud, be careful of them. They just rip off people. The deducted £39 from my account for a membership which I never did. While you attempt to change the address on your license there is some hidden check box, and if you click it you will automatically become their member without you knowing that and then they simply start deducting £39 from your account for nothing. most of the services on their website are just free services and you do not need them at all.

Stay away! This company will scam you and take your money. The website poses as the government website. I went to renew my driving licence through the government website and they took £39 from my account. I rang to say I had absolutely no idea I had used a 3rd party and they refused a refund. Currently reporting this fraudulent company to the bank and trading standards.

I have also been charged a recurring payment of £39 from ukdrive.com just by updating my partner's driving license details on the government website. I dealt with the government website, NOT ukdrive.com.
The government is allowing a scam with this company. A total outrage.

I updated my driving licence back in August on the Government website - I received an email from @dvla.gov.uk confirming I had submitted my details online and that my driving licence should be sent out in two weeks.

I have since noticed that £39 each month has been taken from my account since then from UK-Drive. I first at thought it was a scam. After doing a little research it seems that that 'UK-Drive' is a third party that offers services such as updating details for driving licences. Unbeknownst to me I had signed up to a subscription service with UK-Drive. Worryingly, I have no idea how this happened as I updated my details on the Government website and have never shared ANY information with UK-Drive and I have had at no point had any communication from them. It seems other people have also fallen victim to this too. You can cancel your subscription (that you did not sign up to) immediately by submitting your surname and postcode into their website, following the 'manage subscription' tab.

Like others, I am furious this has happened. I will be raising a formal complaint about this company and taking it as far as I can go.

Thinking I was on the government website for renewing my driver’s license , I clicked the boxes and paid £39 which I thought was expensive but never had a clue what the actual cost was, a month later another £39 comes out of my account to ‘UK-Drive.com, turns out I’d taken a subscription out with this scam company who offer basically nothing for 40 quid a month, I found out later a license renewal is £14.

£39 and ripped me off I feel so angry and violated. Unprincipled and cruel.

Now the phone number is not available!!!! Of course, because of all the people that were scammed thinking they entered into the DVLA webpage. Shame of them.

I changed the address on driving licence through what I thought was the government Web site. It was in fact this company mimicking the gov.co site. They then took £39 from my bank and subscribed me into paying £39 month to them for doing absolutely nothing. No confirmation was made.
They are a complete scam company and should be prosecuted.
