I said I would follow up my previous review after I had used the product. I can confirm that the "Batch Z" does NOT turn your hair orange! I have been using it for just over 2 weeks and my hair is dark again with very little signs of grey hair, and no hair fall out. Although the box says to leave it on for 2 minutes, basically the longer you leave it on the more it colours. My hair was completely silver at the sides and about 60% silver on top so it took longer to remove the grey at the sides than on top, but i found after a few shampoos that it was starting to look too dark on top and too light at the sides, it didn't look at all natural. So over the next two days I just focused on shampooing the sides and leaving it on for 20-25 minutes and this did the trick. I now have same colour coverage all over. Just remember to look on top of the box for the batch beginning with Z.

Not even worth 1 star I bought beard and mustache dye black and ended up with chemical burns and itching on my face and if I'm not compensated I will go to the media about this ,as since I've read online that so many men have ended up sick with burns ,it's a absolute joke and this company is gunna end up with a massive lawsuit on there hands , hopefully I will be compensated and they will take this crap off the shelves before any other men end up the same as me and others ,I'm telling you do not put this crap on your face you will regret it

I complained on their website about this product now turning hair orange, they have acknowledged they made a change to the formulae which they have now fixed, if you complain and send a photo of the lot number from the tube they will send you the new version

What is the contact number for UK complaints about this dreadful product? There appears to be nothing online, and no mention of England, United Kingdom or Great Britain on their Website. There are many complaints on various Websites, but no contact information. Do not buy Control GX, it will turn your hair pink or yellow.

What was once an absolutely amazing product Touch of Grey T35 has now had a formula change and is now total rubbish - what a shame as I have used this product for years. Why do companies do this kind of stupid thing and lose all their long standing customers?? UPDATE: I used a 'Silver' womens hair shampoo a few times to turn the orange back to a nice silver/grey colour.

The new formula is diabolical. It doesn't dye your hair anymore, just turns it orange. Just for men owe me the cost of the product and a hair cut. I'm furious!

Used to be 10/10 - amazing product, then they needlessly changed a perfect formula. It is now awful & does not reduce grey at all.

PLEASE listen to your customers and change the formula back - I am struggling to find any alternatives to the original version of this.

Control GX is over. It is no longer what it used to be. I've been using it for years, and amazed by it. Now it is just giving some yellow tone to your hair and the black is nowhere to show. What a shame

Awful product now the formula has changed. It just doesn’t work, well sort of colours your hair orangey instead of black (in my case). I will be looking for a replacement product from a different brand. Any ideas anyone?

There is a New revised just for men formula. Look for the Z on the batch number on top right of the front picture. They have ditched the old formula because of the issues experienced. This new batch is hard to find right now. If anyone find the new Z batch, please let us all know where we can get it.

I don’t know what they’ve done to this product, but somethings changed, it used to be great. But now it’s terrible, it now turns my hair a orangeish ginger colour.

Do not buy the new improved version which W anchor came up with this leaves hair orange 😡

Why would you change such a brilliant formula I have used this product for years and have been very happy with it. The new colour is just awful its somewhere between orange and ginger, please bring back the original formula as until then im not buying anymore and I'd rather be gray.

Control gx.... I was happy till new formula come out . New formula is terrible make's your hair orange colour. I do not recommend this product.

this new colour is awful... don't buy this until they change it back to what it was before.
My hair now looks ginger brown instead dark brown/black... yukkkk never again..
I bought 3 from different vendors thinking it was a bad batch, but they are all awful... I'm sending them back asking for my money back

I thought it was barnet turns out it was the shampoo.
My hair was that bad I went to the barbers and got a number 1 buzz cut all over.
Avoid now

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE! Been using touch of grey for more than 10 years it’s never failed always leaves me with a touch of grey with T45 brown, now leaves me grey with a touch of orange, sadly stuck with 10 boxes of this rubbish thanks for that JFM

Ive used this product for years but with it's new formula is so disappointing my hair turn ginger so I left the shampoo on for longer hoping it would make my hair darker instead it went a chocolate colour and looks dyed instead of a natural colour as advertised, bring back the old formula as it worked.
