On 7/21/2022 we landed in Tampa with our two kids. Jose was great but the woman there was horrendous.

We were there an hour and when she got to my husband she told him we didn’t have a reservation. He showed him the reservation we had on his phone but she blamed it on Expedia. Our kids were hot, hungry, and upset so I asked him what we were going to do. In no way did I address her. She then demanded we return to the airport and that I was aggressive with her and “no one was going to talk to her like that”. Literally WAS NOT speaking to her and it wasnt bad at all. The guy in the shuttle said she had “some screws loose”. Worst experience and will make sure never ever to rent from you guys again.

7-7 thru 7-13-22 Tampa Picked this company thru MS Expedia as it had the lowest price, however the price agreed to online was changed at car pickup. I should have used one of the majors as I ended up paying that price anyway. Online price was raised by $133. People were helpful but everything was on-line and you were asked to sign documents you couldn't see and they didn't print out. I was quoted an $8/day rate for toll roads that ended up being $11/day instead. $80 online for insurance turned into $105 at check out. Facility is way off airport with barely any bathroom facilities. People working there were the only useful part of this company.

Don’t use them. Untrustworthy! Went to pick up my car after making a reservation. The counter service person informed me they didn’t have my car. It must have been rented out. Tried to rent me a truck instead of SUV. Had no other similar cars available. Not remorseful. I asked for a manager. They would not come out.

This is by far the WORSE car rental, do not rent a car here. Terrible service, no one responds in any of the customer service phone numbers, i have been trying for over 4 days, they DID NOT gave back my deposit, if i could give a -5 for all the troubles i would!

Very friendly guy served us. Gave us a free upgrade and was very understanding about the return time (we were a bit late at no extra charge). Also very forgiving about the gas quantity at the end of the rental. Overall very easy as the name implies!

Terrible experience. Forced to walk through a 4 lane highway to get into the shuttle, which parked in the 2nd lane to wait for us. Got cursed out by the driver while complaining about it. Management was unable to even listen, interrupting constantly. Not worth the price no matter how inexpensive they appear.

I had the worst today trying to find a car, and booked this last minute through Priceline and went to pick up the car at the airport. Charles really helped me out and took out 10 mins or less. Super affordable, and great guy. Really appreciate his help!

I was pulled over in Ft. Myers Florida for doing 44 in a 35 - when they ran the registration/plates they had us exit the car, place all hands on the hood and told us we (including my 16yo son) were going to be arrested unless I could provide the contract. I did not get a paper contract since it was reserved via Booking.com The link wasn't pulling up the agreement; error message and apology for the inconvenience was all that displayed. All I could provide was a screen shot of the confirmation number from the Booking.com app. The car was impounded and we were released. We didn't get a replacement car for 2 days and then replacement car couldn't be driven in reverse - the sensors were dysfunctional, even turned off and the emergency braking system constantly activated.
The worst part... they would not refund me and now their customer service department is unresponsive. Call several times a day for last 5 days and I sit in a que... when I am up next the phone rings until it is disconnected. Unreal.

Worst experience with a car rental ever. Not only BAIT and SWITCH but scam!!

WE RENTED IT AT THE LAST MINUTE, IN ORDER TO TRANSPORT A VERY LARGE CUSTOM PAINTED ARTWORK FOR A CANCER SURVIVOR WHO IS STILL RECOVERING AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE CANCER EVENT BASED IN TEXAS, (this is after the airline customer service gave me the wrong information about the measurements that are acceptable for the artwork to fly as an oversized check item and we had to scramble to ship it which cost a fortune !!)
AFTER THAT, FINDING OUT THAT MY TRUCK WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE THE TRIP BY MY MECHANIC WHO THANK GOD CAUGHT THE ISSUE BEFORE WE HIT THE ROAD (need a new radiator SMFH) BUT FINDING OUT THE NIGHT BEFORE WE WERE SUPPOSED TO LEAVE SO THE VERY THOROUGH WALK THROUGH/ CHECK THAT WOULD NORMALLY BE DONE BEFORE EVEN TAKING THE VEHICLE FROM THEIR PARKING LOT BASICALLY WENT BY THE WAYSIDE BECAUSE OF THE TIME CRUNCH WE WERE NOW UNDER.. BEFORE DISCOVERING THE INFESTATION,
TO START WITH THE MIDDLE ROW SEATS WERE BOTH BROKEN AND WOULD NOT FOLD DOWN SO THE ARTWORK ALMOST DIDN’T FIT BUT WE MADE IT WORK AND THEN THE “VEHICLE REQUIRES MAINTENANCE” LIGHT CAME ON ABOUT HALFWAY TO OUR DESTINATION. AS EVERY OTHER BAD REVIEW HERE STATES, THERE IS NOONE TO SPEAK TO WHEN YOU CALL!!
THE SECOND NIGHT WE HAD THE MINIVAN I SAW A LITTLE BUG CRAWLING ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE FLOORBOARD OF ONE OF THE SIDE SLIDING DOORS AND MADE A MENTAL NOTE OF IT BUT I DIDN'T SEE ANOTHER ONE SO I THOUGHT (AND WAS VERY GRATEFUL) OK GREAT IT WAS JUST AN ISOLATED INCIDENT. BECAUSE IT WAS A 9.5 HOUR DRIVE EACH WAY AND I WOULD BE DRIVING BACK ALONE WITH MY DOG SINCE THE ARTIST HAD TO FLY BACK AFTER THE REVEAL I GRABBED AN AIR MATTRESS SO THAT WHEN I GOT TIRED I COULD JUST TAKE A COMFORTABLE NAP IN THE BACK BEFORE FINISHING THE DRIVE.. WHEN I ARRIVED HOME AND STARTED TO CLEAN OUT THE VEHICLE A F***ING COCKROACH CRAWLED OUT OF THE CUP HOLDER AND WHEN I JUMPED OUT OF THE VEHICLE TO RUN AND FIND INSECTICIDE SPRAY I SAW THAT THERE WAS MORE CRAWLING ALL AROUND THE DRIVER FLOOR RUG AND PEDALS !!!!!!!!!! I STARTED SPRAYING LIKE CRAZY AND AFTER A COUPLE OF MINS I REALIZED THAT THEY WERE STARTING TO CRAWL OUT ON TO MY DRIVEWAY SO I HAD TO HURRY AND MOVE THE VAN AWAY FROM MY HOUSE CAUSE GERMAN COCKROACHES ARE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO ERADICATE!!
I’D ALREADY TAKEN MOST OF EVERYTHING OUT AND IT WAS ALL IN MY DRIVEWAY SO I RAN AND STARTED SPRAYING EVERYTHING AND A F***ING ROACH CRAWLED OUT OF THE SLEEVE OF MY COAT AND I SCREAMED AND STRIPPED DOWN OUT OF MY CLOTHES DOWN TO NOTHING RIGHT IN MY DRIVEWAY, GRABBED MY DOG AND RAN US BOTH IN TO THE SHOWER. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO GROSSED OUT IN MY LIFE !! WHEN I WENT BACK OUTSIDE, 2 MORE CAME CRAWLING OUT FROM UNDER THE LITTLE TOWELS I HAD ABSOLUTELY CONFIRMING THAT ANYTHING THAT WAS IN THAT VAN, INCLUDING ALL THE NEW ONE OF A KIND GIFTS I PURCHASED FOR MY DAUGHTERS FIRST BIRTHDAY NEXT WEEK,
CANNOT COME INSIDE MY HOUSE UNTIL ITS ALL BEEN TREATED WITH INSECTICIDE WHICH WILL PROBABLY END UP RUING HALF OF IT !!

Never use this company. Autocorrect changed my 10pm rental to 10 am. I tried calling before my flight, to no avail. Couldn’t call during the flight. When I landed in Miami at 930pm the office was closed and I was stranded- because the easirent office closes at 8! I’d made the booking thru Expedia and even they tried to contact the company - they eventually told me to rent another car. I did, and Expedia told me they would barter for a cancellation. HOWEVER EXPEDIA THEMSELVES WERE UNABLE TO CONTACT THE COMPANY DESPITE 5 DAYS OF TRYING. I called and was directed to the website, where, despite being within the original timeframe for rental, the rental was marked as ‘completed’. I called back, trying the new reservations choice, where I waited thru being 3rd in line, 2nd in line, first in line—- I then waited thru 37 rings and someone hung up on me!! Contact is impossible.

I wish there was a 0 star rating for this place. I booked through Expedia, but needed to cancel since my flight was delayed. There is no way to cancel your reservation through phone - their business hours are only until 6PM and even when you attempt to call (I attempted 6 different times, even after scheduled pick up), it rings and rings forever. They have no voicemail system - there is just no way to cancel unless you miraculously find your way through the deep web to cancel your reservation online! After that incident, they charged me for the FULL 5 day rental. I attempted to contact their support, only to find out "too bad so sad, you didn't cancel." It's so unfortunate that a company can treat their customers this way and still be in business.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. The fees were even more than the rental cost - all way over the big names. Go with any other rental company but this scam of a business!

Worst car rental experience ever. I booked online for a car at Miami airport. Shuttle service was good. But then the trouble began. Though I already had extra costs for an additional full insurance they wanted to press me to sign up for an addtional insurance. The car itself was 28 dollars a day, Including all the side costs I would have ended up at almost 100 a day. They´re not a car rental: They´re selling insurances and give you a rental car on the side.
I didn´t accept the high costs for a senseless additional insurance and they refused to give me the car. And I didn´t get a refund of my down payment. Never again easirent, even if they´re the only car rental on earth

Although the in and out process for us was very quick and the shuttle was on point and the front desk clerk was very nice went very smooth BUT the car was not fit to be on the road, major electronic issues with intermittent dummy lights going on and off and we are talking about 10 or more lights. Tires were BALD and car had 45,000 miles when their site says new cars, this car had NO business being on the road, would not let the wife take it alone due to the electrical issues and tires. NOT SAFE

HORRIBLE customer service. I will NEVER rent from them again. We called repeatedly for the shuttle from the airport rental center... they never answered. NEVER.

Finally called an UBER to get from the airport to their location. Then we stood in line for an hour and half while they slowly, slowly, slowly handled each customer.

When we tried to return the car for our early morning flight, there was no obvious way to return the car. The sign for the dropbox for keys was inside the locked security fence. No one answered our phone call about how to return the car. The website offered no help.

Too much hassle. I'll rent from anybody else, but not easirent. Please change the company name to "Painfulrent" or "Frustratingrent" or "Hardrent."

Absolutely everything about this experience was appalling. I waited approx one hour to be collected from Gatwick by Easirent's shuttle and taken to their dingy back office a good distance from the airport. I was pressured by the surly office manager to pay an additional £399 for Easirent's insurance and told to cancel the £111 insurance I had already paid Rentalcars when I booked or pay a deposit of £1600. I was trapped and felt conned. My hire cost increased on the spot from £874 to £1162 (874+399), 45% increase. Robbery! Con artist! Then to be told of 100 miles per day limit or get charged extra. The car was dirty and had not been properly cleaned. Very poor customer service. Left me feeling trapped, angry and conned and certain that they had done this many times before and cared nothing about customer relationship. It left a very bitter taste in my mouth. Never again. Avoid them like the plagues! I will be much more circumspect about recommendations from Rentalcars in future.

Rented a SUV for a month late November to late December.
Check in with Charles was awesome with lots of tips and easy processing.
Car was great and I recommend this company.

Rented in Fort Myers. I reserved a compact. When I got there my flight was early and the compact hadnt come back yet. I was flexible but within five minutes of me arriving someone else dropped off their car early; they did a super quick cleaning And off I went. Pleasant experience. No lines, no wait. Reasonable prices. All-around good experience

They'll scam you and your insurance.

First, we waited about an hour after our reservation time because they were so busy and only had two people working. After finally getting checked in, we got out to the car to see the front bumper was cracked and hanging off. Then get in the car and see the radio screen is broken. I documented both by taking a photo of the damage and went back to inform the employee. She says I'm good as I have photos and it's noted down.

Well, now they submitted a claim to my insurance for the broken radio screen and are claiming it was done by me! I have been trying for weeks to get in contact with the company, a manager, anyone, and I've been getting the run-around: "I can't open the photos", "I'm waiting on the claims dept." "She isn't working today". I've sent my evidence with the time I signed the agreement and I took the photo (8 minutes apart) and they still are LYING and claim they weren't aware of the damage. THEY REFUNDED MY DEPOSIT AFTER DROPPING THE CAR OFF AS WELL. HMMMMMM???? Interesting.

Don't waste your time, energy, or money renting here. Literal scam artists.
