My experience is similar to that of other reviewers: rented a car for one thay for $51 (prepaid) through carrentals.com which is an expedia site, reading through carefully the terms before reserving. I was lucky with their shuttle as i only had to wait for about 30-35 minutes. Arriving at the rental site a lady was just exiting the office saying out loud to the customers waiting in line "you are all crazy to rent from these people". That's when my alarms started ringing...
At the counter I was told they won't give me the car unless i buy their insurance for $65, which is a condition i can check on their own homepage and they don't care what the expedia terms were. I just took their shuttle back to the airport and rented a car from Alamo, which was a smooth and nice experience with no hidden costs. Same $65 (I'm never getting back the original $51 i prepaid) but at least my additional money didn't land with jerks.
Story also says some things about expedia, have to be more careful in the future who i deal with through them, will certainly not trust blindly any company they offer me from now on.

Their prices are good but...........not worth it. I had to take the rental car center bus from Terminal 2 at Ft. Lauderdale Airport and then wait 30 minutes for the Easirent Van to come pick me up to take me 15 minutes away to their location. The car they gave me did not have a full tank of gas so they told me to bring it back at the level of gas it has now. I was afraid they wouldn't remember the gas level so I filled it up. When I dropped off the car to their location, the Van dropped me off at the Car Rental Center and I had to catch the shuttle to the Terminal - the extra shuttles was not worth the cost savings.

If I could I'd give this company a negative star! DON'T rent from them at Fort Myers Airport. I had booked my car through priceline. It took a half-hour to get on so called shuttle ( A van) waited 45 minutes to get to talk to an agent. I was told since I did not have proof of my home auto insurance, it would cost me $39.95/day. I left without a car-went back to airport and rented elsewhere. Other things I learned about this company- people were waiting two hours before a car was brought for them, people almost missing flights because shuttle was so late, shuttle not available early morning or later evening-making it necessary to pay for other rides to airport! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! NOT EASY!

We rented a car for my husband and were under the assumption that the rental was inside the airport. It is not, you need to take a shuttle. That's not the worst part. His flight arrival was for 9:50pm and the rental office closed at 10 pm and there were no hours of operation listed, we assumed being an airport and scheduling the pick up time that they would be sure to be available. So deboarding the plane, through the airport, luggage pick up and out to find the area for the shuttle, take shuttle to office. All that is expected in 10 minutes? dream on! Such a rip off and dangerous to their customers too. No numbers to call unless you are within a 8 hour daylight timeframe, leaving customers stuck! So not right at all. Extremely poor company service. Never ever ever again!

Prepaid rental. Land at Miami. At curb 10:00 PM. Rental car company doesn't answer phone for shuttle. Finally figure out they close early at 8:00 PM. Next morning start calling at 8:00 AM. No answer. Uber to rental location. No cars to rent. Kept money. Low posted rates to book rentals and if late keep your money. SCAM

Avoid this company!!! There is nothing good to be said about my interaction with Easirent In Orlando. Cars are wrecks, they basically force you to buy daily toll pass and if you don’t have your insurance card, lookout for insurance overcharge. The reps lie about tolls and the ability to buy a Sunpass and don’t bother filling out paperwork on their site in advance, it apparently isn’t compatible and you’ll have to re-enter info. My $140 rental was close to &250 at checkout. Scam!!! run! Even if you do get a response from them to your review, don’t expect a timely response. I reached out over two weeks ago and haven’t heard back. They also don’t answer their phones, even though you are placed on hold before getting disconnected. Terrible company

I had a very bad experience renting a car with Easirent through Priceline. I was refused my rental due to insurance documents. They would not except electronic documents from my Nationwide app.

previously left 3 * as we were offered a partial refund for a 1/2 day late hire (at their fault) but company has back tracked on this, and didn't even feel they should contact me to tell me this. you have to chase them at every step of booking and complaint. Worst service every received with a car hire company, its not been worth the stress and amount of time spent on the phone. Wish we had paid more for an experienced company with good customer service. DO NOT HIRE THROUGH EASIRENT. We are out of pocket from a missed boat trip, thank god we weren't using the car to take a flight/something more important other than it ruining a day of our holiday. in particular this is about the Edinburgh branches.

Super easy to make a reservation and at a great price. Have used Easirent before when vacationing in Florida and happy to go back. Very smooth process.

I rented a car from Easirent through rentalcars.com in the USA. Although the online contract did not indicate mandatory extra liability insurance, they charged me approx. $155 a week for this insurance. In addtion, the rentalcars.com contract showed that CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) is included in the rental price, the final documents with Easirent showed that the CDW is NOT included.
They upgraded me to a larger car as they obviously did not have the smaller car available. One tire was below safe driving standards with no profile on the right side of the tire.

Easirent is a SCAM. Do NOT rent from them. First, they would not accept my personal insurance, nor the insurance included in my credit card, but charged me an additional 150 Euros. Then, the car they gave me was disgusting, with two warning lights, for check engine and low tire pressure. It was covered in dents and scratches, and was missing the left mirror. It rattled so badly when driving, I was concerned we would not make our destination. Not the car you want to be driving. And not what you want to pay 470 Euros for the 'privilege' of driving around Dublin.

It was not just me that was being treated this poorly. The line of people waiting ahead of me to rent were all fighting with the office staff, including locals. And, when I arrived to drop off my car, the woman at the desk was on the phone with some poor renter who could not get into his car. She told him it was probably the battery in his key fob and it wasn't worth sending someone to where he was, so he would need to sort it out.

Stay as far away from this company as you can.

I made my hotwire rent thinking about the support of the company but the company easirent collected in the month of my rent the tolls and what they were supposed to charge but they have charged after two months of my reservation a payment that I have no idea what It will be, anyway, using my credit card two months later seems unsafe to me.

The hotwire company does not take over and easirent either, fully determined of the two services, I will not rent again through either of the two means, very careful!

Iris was fantastic! Helped us quickly and gave us a tin of information to help us on our vacation.

Yarmane was a great help to me at the fort Meyers location. His customer service was outstanding. He even made the effort to take me to the airport noticing I was a little behind schedule and the shuttle had left and was full!! That’s great customer service! See you soon for another rental.

Just booked A rental car on my trip to Jacksonville Florida. The booking was fast and easy would recommend anyone to use this company.

Easirent is by far the worst company ever. They left me stranded at Fort Myers Airport (RSW) with no way to get to their office to pick up a car. When they finally showed up the driver appeared to be impaired and should not have been driving the curtesy van. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!

l got my car from the Ft.Meyers location. Not good customer service. Tried to up sell insurance when l have my own. The car was filthy on the outside including a very dirty windshield.The inside was loaded with sand and hair on the floor. lt also smelled of cigarette smoke. When l arrived at my destination l sprayed it with Lysol and cleaned with Clorox wipes. Could not get the smell out. When l entered the building to pick up the car another customer was leaving very upset after rep was yelling at him from behind the counter. The customer told me not to rent from them. l should have listened. When l returned the car l told the rep the cigarette smell was very disappointing. No response. He told me to go get the van to go to the airport. l tipped the driver and no thank you from him.

Booked at the Orlando airport location. The driver came promptly we only waited about five minutes for the shuttle and she was very friendly and very professional. When we arrived at the facility we were help I Mr. Stephone Brown who was amazing employee. He was quick attentive answer any questions we had an assisted us in getting in an out promptly because we were tired off of a long flight. Amazing experience, we will def book again and ask for him

I booked a rental to pick up from Orlando, FL international airport. Their shuttle bus from the airport was supposed to be every 30 minutes but unless you call the office phone number, they may not come to pick you up. We arrived at the airport around 9 PM.

After getting to the car pick up, we found out how much of a slithering lying business practice tactics they like to follow. They want to upsell everything from EZ pass daily charge to forcing you to buy their insurance so that they can make more money.

I had a comprehensive personal car insurance and I’ve rented multiple times from other well known rental companies such as Enterprise, AVIS, Budget but this company is cunning. They attempted to do everything to make me purchase their own insurance.

Then they even made comments how I shouldn’t be surprised if a charge shows up after rental drop off because of dents. That immediately made me realize they will overcharge you with more lies even if you didn’t damage the car. Just because you didn’t buy extra insurance from them.

Avoid this place at all cost if you can. The customer service is definitely horrible and the place is a dirty like a junkyard. The employees are unethical. With simple google search I found how horrible the other reviews for the company is. Not worth your time and money getting into hassle dealing with Easirent.
