Be Very Wary of Pricing and Committments
I, like many others, purchased a "lifetime" subscription to UTeach back when they were young. Fast forward and they significantly reneged on what they sold. It has been my experience that when a company lacks ethics, it tends to permeate. So just be aware that if you spend lots of time effort and money developing courses on this platform, they MAY decide that you are due for a price increase and maybe a significant price increase. Caveat emptor!!!

I used to think online teaching would…
I used to think online teaching would be complicated, but this platform transformed my perspective entirely.
Right after I launched my first course, I saw a spike in enrollments and revenue that I never expected. The interface is neat, and the certificate builder helps me reward students effectively. Best part is, I can handle everything in one place. I’m amazed at how quickly I adapted!

They promised lifetime access and did not honour it and would not provide a refund. The new “lifetime plan” they shifted is on is hardly functions which is very evident that was the intent so we are forced to pay for an upgrade. They are also now taking 10% commission. This is not what was promised and not what I paid for. I Customer service is horrible. DO NOT USE. BEYOND UNETHICAL COMPANY.

Do NOT choose Uteach
There are MANY options available for learning management platforms - and I would advise you to steer clear of Uteach. This company does not value maintaining trust and relationships with their customers. The terms and conditions under which I signed up (and purchased additional tools) got completely changed. Go with a reputable company that has consistently demonstrated over time that they value the people who invest in them. This is NOT a people-centered company.

Purchased a lifetime plan to help…
Purchased a lifetime plan to help support them in the early stages. build a business around the courses i offered for them to betray the loyalty of early adopters, they say they have not ditched the lifetime plan but restricted it, yes significantly restricted tht i can no longer run a business with the new restrictions and i have lost access to 40 of my courses, they offer a new subscription ofr a small discount but that includes them taking 10% for each course i sell. totally lost confidence and trust in the company.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience using Uteach. Initially, the platform offered a Lifetime Deal (LTD) trough AppSumo with attractive features like no transaction fees, unlimited students, and unlimited courses. However, they later canceled this LTD and drastically reduced the benefits. The new limitations include only 3 courses, a cap of 1,000 students, and a 10% commission on transactions. This shift feels unfair and misleading to early adopters who trusted the original promises and the creators. I would not under any circumstance recommend this platform based on these practices. If you can't keep your promises, don't make them and stop wasting everybody's time and money.

Bait, Switch & More!
As with many others on here, I signed up for the lifetime offer through App Sumo.
I had big plans for the platform to increase access to our suicide prevention training, offering free courses with the aim of saving lives.
UTeach then released a £120 Communities bolt-on which I bought directly from them, figuring that post-training, learners could form networks for what are known as Suicide Gatekeepers, further (hopefully) combatting this tragic loss of life.
UTeach then withdrew the unlimited nature of the lifetime subscription, before backtracking and making it a very poor cousin of what I was actually sold.
Since then, I've contacted them requesting a refund on the Communities module - their reply was to ask for it from App Sumo.
I replied immediately, pointing out that I'd bought it from them directly, and I've been ignored ever since.
I think that 3 weeks is plenty long enough to respond but, in the absence of a reply, I'm left feeling that they're now just battening down the hatches and hoping that us troublesome customers will just give up and walk away.....

Did Not Honor Committment -BE AWARE!!

You made a commitment via AppSumo that these plans will have the features mentioned above, and now I receive an email that I can’t publish more than 3 courses??? Are you kidding me? Didn’t you guys know that this action will ruin your reputation? Are you happy about suddenly getting a low rating on AppSumo and Trustpilot websites? I am extremely disappointed with U-Teach Team. This is extremely unacceptable that the company did not honor its commitment. I would not recommend anyone buy anything from them ever again!!

Uteach è una TRUFFA!
Ho comprato due anni fa su APPSUMO un'offerta LIFETIME per poter vendere i miei videocorsi e non pagare più nulla in seguito.
Adesso chiedono 31 dollari al mese più il 10% sulle vendite.
E' truffa perchè si sono resi conto di aver fatto una super offerta e adesso non rientrano con i costi, così hanno deciso di tornare indietro.
Centinaia di persone sono nella mia stessa situazione e adesso spero cambino tutti piattaforma come me.
Le nuove startup utilizzano questo stratagemma per attirare i clienti sapendo che una volta dentro una percentuale degli stessi rimarrà perchè faticoso spostarsi da una piattaforma a un'altra e così ingannano la gente e ci guadagnano.
PESSIMI!!!

Uteach is a SCAM!
Uteach is a scam! Bait and switch company. Buyer beware that this company is not in the US, is not legally bound, and will not honor their sales agreement.
Our company purchased their lifetime deal. Their “Lifetime deal” lasted two years. Now they said they won’t honor that deal and instead want to offer us a “Lifetime Subscription Price”!! Really!?!?! Not only no, but HELL NO!
Do not trust your money, time and resources to this sham!

I’m extremely disappointed with Uteach. I purchased a lifetime deal through AppSumo, which promised lifetime access and future Pro Plan updates. However, on December 1, 2024, I was notified that my plan would be downgraded, breaking the commitment they made. This is becoming a common trend among startups who disregard their legal promises to early adopters. Shame on you, Uteach.
