After buying a pair of UVEX safety boots earlier this year and initially loving them, they started to cause me issues.

I’ll not go into the full story but I cannot praise uvex safety group and especially Rob Jones who contacted me and have sent me a new pair of boots and a spare pair of insoles!!!

After struggling for over 2 years with on-going foot issues caused by the standard, compulsory safety shoes supplied by my employer, Amazon, I was at my wits end!
Nobody it seemed could help me - my employer, NHS Foot Care, even Private Orthotic specialists. Then somebody suggested why not try speaking to a company called Uvex, who are one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of safety shoes based in the UK. To be honest at the time I had never heard of them but now I am so glad I did.

I certainly didn’t expect to be given such genuine and helpful individual support by a large manufacturer. They quickly arranged for me to meet a footwear fitting consultant, Michele, who was particularly helpful, knowledgeable and patient. As part of the complimentary consultation she took an electronic footprint which not only measured the length and width of my foot but also my arch type and pressure points. Using this information she was then able to recommend the correct fitting safety shoes including inner soles.

I was surprised at the depth and breadth of safety shoes that Uvex were able to provide to meet almost any specification. I had assumed that this service was only really available for corporate customer’s but I am so grateful that in such good spirit Uvex extended that level of support to an individual customer. That sort commitment deserves commending, hence I am taking the time to write this review.

Thank you Michele and Uvex for going above and beyond to solve my problem. A problem that had gone on for years solved by Uvex in just a few days!

Customer service second to none. Having left a rather acerbic review of some safety glasses on one of their distributors site - Axminster Customer Service picked this up with Uvex who then contacted me directly. I couldn't have found a more helpful, knowledgeable and genuine person anywhere. You know who you are !

The end result...some alternative glasses to try out. Opinion? Uvex Pheos glasses are some, if not the, best safety glasses I have ever worn.

As a distributor to various industry sectors, we have sold uvex products for a number of years albeit in a modest way.

Having always been aware of the quality and variety of uvex products available, we knew we wanted to grow our uvex range. A meeting was arranged with key stakeholders in uvex and G E Tools (PPE Store) in January 2024, from account management to marketing, to discuss our vision for further developing the PPE side of our business.

From that conversation it became obvious that not only did uvex have the quality of product, they also have real quality in terms of how they want to go about supporting businesses and genuinely making a positive difference.

Since that meeting, we haven’t looked back!

We now work in partnership with uvex and receive the full support of the uvex team; from the account management team, customer service support, marketing, including creating a bespoke blog, to social media posts on a range of topics.

I’d also like to make special reference to their training. Their approach is different to what we’d previously experienced by not just focusing on the products but delving into “the why and how” products protect the individual. The feedback was excellent, and all colleagues were very engaged with the session and took a lot from it. We’re looking forward to future sessions!

As a result, sales are beginning to build, and we look forward to further developing this genuine partnership with the uvex team.

Wow, ridiculous. Sales representatives invading work sites hunting for what I imagine to be "leads".
No call backs on time, or showing to scheduled meeting.
The first pair broke after 2 months, and the second 3 months. The representative wasted peoples time and none compensated for their efforts, interupted or time lost chasing the representative on meetings he insisted on having nor on the items purchased which quickly dissolved.

I have recently trialed a pair of Uvex 1 (84272) Business safety boots and they are by far the most comfortable safety boots I’ve ever worn and I have worn a few pairs in my time, they also look great. Our warehouse manager even stopped me to say I should be wearing safety footwear when working in the warehouse, as he didn’t think they were safety boots. Another great product product from Uvex.

My former employed paid for a pair of mid length steel toe Uvex boot's in 2012, I still use them to this day and they have quite a few year's life left in them.
They are still 100% waterproof and the insoles/comfort is tip top.

The best PPE kit I have ever used bar none.

My company has supplied me with Uvex shoes for many years, I must have had over half a dozen pairs in boot or shoe form.
Over six years ago I ordered a pair of Quatro Pro shoes (8400.2). I have tried other makes of safety shoe, but they were never as comfortable or as durable, so have settled on the Quatro ones as they suit my wide feet.
I work for a foundry in their Pattern Shop, which entails a lot of machining with resultant metal swarf ending up on the rough concrete floor.
Inevitably this gets walked upon. The surface also usually has a covering of foundry sand which is abrasive.
The leather uppers sometimes get splashed with oil based cutting coolant as well as chemicals such as WD40.
These shoes have been in daily use for over six years, and it has only recently been found that the uppers are starting to part company from the soles.
Naturally they have been replaced with an identical pair.

Very pleased with the Uvex prescription safety eyewear, comfortable fit no steaming up.
Excellent design to accommodate broad facial features.

I am very impressed with uvex products.
I always find uvex products to be great value for money.
The gloves fit well and give me really good grip even when handling small screws.
The specs are light and comfortable and most importantly don't fog up.

As a company we have changed some of our PPE to UVEX over the last few years. We undertook a trial of safety glassess and boots. We identified that the light and impact resistant eyewear are extremely good product. We trialed the Quatro Boots and found them very durable and comfortable, employee generally gave a great feedback on the quality and comfortabiliy of the boots. One thing that is positive about engaging and working with UVEX to fine the exact equipment which are ideal for us - overall extremely good products

The company I work for switched to UVEX a few years ago after undergoing a trial of the Safety Eyewear and Footwear, I use the Quatro Boots and find them very durable and comfortable, there are cheaper boots on the marked but you dont get the same level of satisfaction knowing that you can engage with UVEX if there is a problem (Not that there has been) also the light eyewear and impact resistant eyewear are extremely good with the anti mist feature, some employees did raise an issue with scratches but it was quickly established that they were cleaning them wrong - overall top products

Having had a injury to my foot and in need of some arch support to assist my recovery I tried a pair of UVEX tune up insoles. These are really comfortable and easy to put into your footwear and give you instant support to your feet.
