I undertook a review of both Love It Cover It and Value Checkers following the failure of my laptop and proceeded with a claim through Love It Cover It due to their clear documentation process.

The claim was approved, and Value Checkers were appointed to carry out the inspection. The device was collected by DPD on Monday and delivered to their facility on Tuesday.

Following assessment, it was confirmed that the mainboard had sustained damage as a result of liquid ingress around the heatsink, which had affected the core functionality of the device.

Value Checkers advised that a report would be submitted to my insurer, after which a decision would be made. By Thursday, I received confirmation that a replacement had been authorised. The replacement unit was subsequently received by the repair centre and is scheduled for delivery to me on Saturday.

Throughout the process, communication from both Love It Cover It and Value Checkers was consistently clear, timely, and professional. The efficiency of the claim—from collection through to replacement—was particularly notable.

Given the modest monthly premium of £8.99 and an £80 excess, the overall level of service provided represents a high standard of customer care. I would also like to specifically acknowledge Attiah Somenthal at Value Checkers and Sophia at Love It Cover It for their professionalism, responsiveness, and support throughout the process, which contributed to a smooth and well-managed claims experience.

Quick turnaround, responded promptly to every inquiry. Kept communication during repair process so I knew what was going on and I wasn’t left in the dark.

They were excellent from start to finish. No issues kept me informed, very happy with the service.

Can’t express enough how brilliant my experience with Value Checkers has been. We came through our insurance with Lovit cover it. It’s always stressful when you have a high value device and it needs repair/ replacement urgently. Value Checkers, however were brilliant at keeping in touch throughout the whole process. I had access to them via text message and no matter how many times I messaged they were polite, friendly and kept me updated throughout. Unfortunately the device was beyond repair but a replacement was sent out very quickly and it is exceptional.

Like a previous review I was extremely unsure about using Value Checkers as they were a third party and I had never made an insurance claim before . However I cannot rate them highly enough for the quick and easy manner in which my claim was dealt with . From 1st contact to having my replacement ipad delivered took only 7 days . Throughout this albeit short period they were in regular communication with how my claim was progressing and when a replacement would be ordered and delivered . Highly recommend .
