I had a bad experience with the quality of the bed I have purchased through VidaXL, however, the customer service team has reached out to me and offered me a full amount refund as a compensation for the bad experience without even asking for it! Terrible experience. Ordered a 50 cm high pedestal/stand for the washing machine. Received it in a torn box and some pieces were severely scratched. I complained and then I was sent a replacement and eureka! The scraches were possibly because someone tried to put the item together and failed, as I did later, because the stand can never be assembled due to poor design. Some screws and bolts don’t tighten and some holes don’t align.. Half way through the assembly process you realise this bad excuse of a metal stand can never stand on its own, let alone support the weight of washing machine. I contacted vidaxl uae repeatedly but they only offered partial refund 😵💫 and you’d have to email them back and forth. What a joke!! Why? Why do I have to pay for their lack of quality control? Totally unacceptable. I’m reporting the matter to consumer rights.

I heard this apology many times, Mr Khaled. I hope you can, unlike other representatives, fulfill your promise. My order number is 0791000017518. And I happen to have just recluctantly agreed to a partial credit as i was threatened that if I don’t respond, the complaint will be considered resolved 🙄

Mr Khaled from VidaXL contacted me and got me a full refund, exactly as I wanted, and on top of that was very cooperative and prompt. Thus I’m giving the website a 4-star rating, 1 star short of 5 because of the hassle. Otherwise, I’m content with the way that order went.

Follow up from my last review.
Possible scam company - still awaiting my promised refund of 1,600 AED by a Vida XL rep which he made on the 3/11/23.
It appears he only said this due to others reading Trust Pilot. He and Vida XL have not sorted the matter whatsoever proving once again that they are possibly a scam company. No emails, no communication, no help when I call customer service, no refund.
Where is the refund @ Vida XL?

Possible scam company.
Bought an item on the website for 1,600 aed and now the company claims they never received the order even though they have still taken the payment.
Contacted customer services who claim it’s being investigated. I sent proof of payment and the order number etc which they claim they can’t find on their system.
My bank has confirmed the payment went to their account. Matter reported to police and bank has filled a dispute.
This company is dishonest and possibly a scam. Will update as I learn more.
*UPDATE - 27/10/23. Phoned customer service again (it’s now been 2 weeks), and still nothing resolved. Operator also laughing about the incident. Uneducated and unskilled. More updates to follow.

I ordered an outdoor wooden storage box. Received the order 2/3 days after order. When I opened the box, it was full of sand. I took off the pieces, and noticed holes in the wood, and when I looked at the sand, I saw termites everywhere!! It went all over my apartment's furniture, and was a hazard to me, my wife and to my (newborn) baby. I immediately threw the product and contacted customer care. After writing to them with photo evidence, they said they would come back to me within 3 business days. After 5 follow ups, I still go nothing. No refund, no nothing. I am still shocked. Not only did they send me an insect infestation, but I paid for it, and god knows how much more damage it caused, without any compensation whatsover. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM (this is only the UAE branch - I cannot comment about their other regions.)

I had a very painful experience with the ecommerce business. I placed an order for a day bed. I received the product in 56 pieces and I found out that 13 pieces were missing. After a week of calling their incompetent and useless call center, I received an email from them informing me that they don't have the missing pieces and they can give me AED120 to go and find the pieces in the market. Can you believe how stupid is this reply. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. They are scam.

The worst client service in my life. I ordered a corner chair which came with the wrong parts (sides were shorter than needed). The client service representative at first offered me to send the correct parts but then said they are not available and offered a partial refund of 100 aed. Needless to say the chair's price was way higher than that. After a week of emailing back and forth they insist on a partial refund. So basically you buy a product for a full price but cannot use it but VIDAXL just takes your money and says - deal with it, you can feel great with 1/3 of a product and we don't care it's not usable. Such a fraud.
UPD: after almost 1,5 weeks of emailing back and forth the company sent me a chair that had all the correct details. I also have to note that everything else I ordered was alright. But the incident with the wrong parts, as well as customer service work, were upsetting.

Worst buy - impossible to assemble chairs and very poor quality - absolutely not worth the money. I was refunded the full amount be fair.

The product has no such capacity to stay strong. You could have provide 6 legs instead of 4.
