I wish that you were also located in NY. The East Coast has many homes that could take advantage of your beautiful railings. Such an open area and great views are possible.

Easy system to install. Looks awesome!

Our order for a floating stair system [many thousands of $$$] was dropped off a liftgate, by R+L carriers, while I was watching! So far, the ViewRail company has only offered us $100 to compensate for a delivery gone very wrong...the stair pieces were taken out of the carton by the guys delivering it. I called as this was happening and that's the advice ViewRail gave me, to accept the delivery no matter what...I think it's lawyer time!

Having a problem and then being dodged when there is a problem is not emblematic of good customer service. I ordered parts on a rush and the order was mishandled in-house and got lost. When I tried to find out what happened I was hung up on and left in limbo. I had to spend hours of my time chasing someone who could resolve my issue (if indeed it does get resolved.)

Very helpful guidance on project planning. All materials and tools needed; excellent videos for instruction. Results are fantastic.

I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND OR BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN. Support is horrible after the sale. Couldn't get ahold of them. Wrong parts were sent. Was a terrible hassle to get support's help with anything and when we finally got replacement parts, the parts sent were incorrect. Step-by-step instructions are inadequate. We completed installation in spite of it all. I'm glad my husband is creative, handy, and has a lot of tools as he fabricated several pieces to make things work.

Great experience, Staff very pleasant and helpful. I just love my new railings, quality is exceptional.

Awsome product. Packaging, design, instructions all complete and they even sent glass and stainless cleaner plus rag.They took most of the thought process out of the job.

Jeran was super helpful during the planning and ordering process, the order was delivered in a timely and secure manner, and the system itself was quick to install. (Plus, it came with a very detailed binder of tips and instructions!) Great product, and great people!

the worst experience! I ordered railing for one deck cable railing .
1st time I spoke with some one she had a dog barking next to her and i had to repeat my self and then I notice she was a little bit ususless to help in the design, so i said lets just forget its and i hung up, well she gave my number to someones else ERIC and he took over and told me that he could do everything i needed and them some, i was like ok lets try and see, well he said 11 business days sounds good right? wrong!!! 2 months later i finally got whole of him, he's was always away or unable be reach, then he said that my order was lost at ship center, and so they will re-do it, said how long again he said 7 days, well guess what the 7 day s went and here come the next excuse to me

( After my supervisor and I dove into your order when we had the previous issue, he pointed out to me that the layout that we have quoted out for you is not something that is going to work with our system. We don't have the ability to have our runs ending in two R posts (wall mounted) as we previously discussed.
We would have to have an "a" end post on one of the ends of the system, and have the post foot be placed right at the wall, as opposed to being mounted directly to the wall. Or, you could have "a" posts on both sides to have them look the same.

How did you manage to make the lost order, but now you can't do it?

then his manager got involve Darby Showalter, well he's just a s useless as bag of hammers, boasting at he's company does 100 mill a year in business and so on, and even told me to stop complaining about Eric Dean because he wasn't laying to me, it was just a misunderstanding, he was a real a**hole!!
If that order was made and was shipped to me somehow, but never made out of your lot,
can you explain to me how you were able to make that order, but the new order to replace the missing order can't be made again?

It cost about $6k which I paid half at front the other half when they ship the order, I'm so upset and disappointed by the company. This has been a nightmare. I do not recommend buying from them, buyer beware!!

I’m very happy with our railing. For the most part customer service was amazing and super helpful. My only gripe is that when we needed 2 more very small parts they weren’t shipped out as a courtesy. We were required to buy a complete package at a cost (including expedited shipping) of over $300. It would have been nice to have received a bit of a concession on this.

This is a great product. My project is turning out fantastic. I did purchase the install kit, it's well worth the money for the crimp tool and cable cutter. The combo wrench and marking tool is not what I was hoping for, the wrench just doesn't fit. I ended up using a 7mm wrench to tighten the cables. I also ran into a problem with a couple of the cable ends not fitting into the turnbuckles so I called the tech line and they shipped new ones next day. The best thing I found to do is to test fit all of your parts before building your cables = no surprises.

The Product Quality and Engineering of the Base Rail exceeded my expectations. Read the installation guide and review the YouTube videos with expert tips to get it completed.

While the product itself is well made, the company does not seem to be able to resolve issues in a reasonable manner.

The biggest issue is that we received an incorrectly made post which did not become clear until we tried to put in the rails. This area protects from the floor below and with young children is a safety issue. Despite my concern and multiple attempts, the company is only able to send a replacement at regular production time and then can "rush shipping". There seemed to be no concern or apology about the mistake and no offer to give a refund or send an additional product at lower cost that was an error on our end.

I asked for a supervisor, but I kept hearing I "talked to the supervisor" and "nothing could be done".

After reviewing our order further- I realized that there was also an issue on the initial product order end. I had checked on the order 1 month after order and was told it was "right on time". However it seems as if the order was missed and only started production after I checked in on it, again with no apology and no offer to correct the issue when I discussed with customer service with the other issue.

Unfortunately we don't have any solution to prevent falls to the floor below while we wait the 11 business days for the post to ship and were not offered any other solution.

All was as expected. Quality product.

The rail came in exactly as my preliminary design showed it. It was packed impeccably. Leaving no flaws in the railing at all. It went up with some effort, however the final product is well worth it. We love the look.

Excellent company to work with. No high pressure sales, quality products, and super customer service. We purchased the Express Rail System with wood handrails for indoor application and installed ourselves. Definitely a 2-person job with a good amount of DIY experience, and the online videos were helpful alongside the installation binder.

I'm a seasoned homebuilder working in SLC, Utah. I build custom homes for clients that demand the best. The treads were delivered in a perfect shipping container, in perfect condition, for perfect results.
I don't usually order anything of import online- it's just too tricky to make sure you are getting good quality- but in this case Covid 19 delays forced by hand and I tried Viewrail online for 10 white oak floating staircase treads.
Fair price, quick turn around, good customer service. Wow.
