I was sent 4 bottles of the wrong wine
I was sent 4 bottles of wine, incorrectly packaged. I let them know and the service Representative was extremely understanding and quickly resolved the issue! I received the correct wine within a week and was not billed. Excellent Customer Service! Thank you!

my initial order took close to a month…
my initial order took close to a month to ship. I had hoped to receive it by Thanksgiving so I could share the wine with family, but that never happened. The wine was delivered just this week, tried the first bottle a Pinot , and it was absolutely disgusting. I took one sip of it and poured the entire bottle down the drain. I'm afraid to try the other wines, but I've paid for them so I might as well try them and hope there's one decent bottle of wine in there. Very disappointed and I many not order again after this horrible first experience.

I'm not a wine connoisseur. So take my review with a grain of salt. I enjoyed them very much. The price was fantastic. I joined because of the price and the miles for my Spirit Airlines Account. I didn't expect the wine to be this good. They are wonderful.

Broken Website Processes, Sly Promotions, Call Center Customer Service
Website needs some broader user testing scenarios, I was able to order a case of wine that was out of stock and was not alerted it was out of stock till through the entire purchase process and even then got a contact customer service message on my thank you page and still got a purchase confirmation email. The website should of alerted me when I tried to place the wine in my cart, upfront, not on the thank you page nor send a confirmation email, so confusing!
Upon contacting customer service, which you can only do by email, they confirmed it was out of stock. That was it - no context ( we expect more soon, it has been popular, boutique winery with small production, no re-stock expected etc.) or even up sell ( try X,Y or Z which we find similar). I joined a wine club for expertise, the wine guy at Cost Co is a better expert, has context to share.
Vinesse does a lot of specials via email and direct mail, some you actually have to opt out of in your account or you automatically get charged/shipped - super sly - as I am sure many forget to opt out or miss the email, direct mail piece. Upon my above order not being full-filled, I did try for the first time an email "mystery case clearance" special. Again, it falls on the super sly side of doing business as it is a one click opt in landing page. I believed I would be at the very least prompted for confirmation of shipping address and payment method - nope. Got the confirmation email again but based upon above experience, logged in to my account to double check, nope declined cause my credit card info had changed. There was a link to update, I did, no prompt to confirm the re-order and the line item still said declined after updating with that exact line item link. So back to email customer service who again just said nope, special won't ship, you have to place it again ( which I thought I did by using the specific update line item link). Back to the website, could not find any mention, promo tile of the mystery special to re-place my order.
After trying to give Vinesse my money twice, I cancelled my membership, which of course you can not do online, you have to email customer service. It really shouldn't be this hard to have a website that meets every user scenario, or have wine expert customer service as a premium positioned club instead of call center help. Shows they do not invest in actual user testing to meet all user online needs, they invest in one click opt ins, or worse, you have to opt out to not be charged, the path fastest to charge your credit card, best way to meet their bottom line.
Plenty of other wine clubs out there, pass on Vinesse.

Rose is not a category of white wine
In many ways, Vinesse is a good service. My main concern is that they keep lumping rose in with their white wine selections. I've almost given up on purchasing the white wine random sales because they provide too many bottles of rose, when what I am interested in is actual white wines.

I've checked out many wine clubs and there are many great values to choose from but the actual wines I received from Vinesse are very good in quality and value. I highly recommend giving them a try, I believe you will not be disappointed.

Not impressed at all
Not impressed at all. The wines they sent had turned and tasted awful. I wrote customer service and was returned a glib email with typos that truly didn't care if I was satisfied or not. Never got my money back or wine replaced! Don't bother, go with another company. I tried 4 others after Vinesse and all of them did a much better job.

Nothing bad happened. Wine as with audio speakers is an individual like and dislike and will vary with each pallet or ear. Improvement can always be made so I rarely rate any service a 5.
