I'm guessing here (only because it's gone on so long) but about a year of issues and every time we ring they say switch off and on your phone and the issue will be resolved. Guess what, no it's not. Can't understand the person on the other end of the phone, they can't understand us. Wait time this morning for call was half hour. Three calls later, guess what? Still not sorted after yet again spending most of the previous Friday afternoonn on the phone with them. Never in my life have I come accross such ineptitude.

I tried to move to virgin mobile - stupid idea.
Not only were they unable to connect me after 24 hours, I also had to wait for first 35 minutes and then for 45 minutes for assistance on their help line when I called.
I also found out after cancellation that they cut my open fibre cable in order to install their cable which delayed the installation of my new broadband when I cancelled.
To top everything off they then had the audacity to bill me for the 3 days that I had the equipment which had never worked.

So many hidden fees
They're hidden fees are absolutely outrageous. They start with a kind looking fee of 25$ and charge you mega extra for everything. First off just the activation fee is 80$ which I was told I wouldn't be charged. They charged me anyways. I also went across the border one time and got charged an additional 90$ on top of my 25$ bill. Every time you go near to the border you loose money. Please don't go with this company. Go with freedom mobile or someone else that has usa/canadian plans and does'nt have super high hidden costs.

Signed up for a promotional plan with virgin mobile. Literally 2 months later they jacked up the prices. Is that even allowed ?? not to mention they loooove to report to the credit bureau even one late payment . Steer clear at all costs !!

I am not sure if this is the right platform to complain about Virgin 02 who have merged. As a commercial client we are receiving awful customer service. If you are a commercial business. Steer away from them completely. Not worth the hassle. I signed contracts over a month and a half ago and I am still waiting for handsets and Zero replies to emails

Very complicated and dysfunctional customer service. Spent 25+ minutes just to ask an engineer to come put a socket. On the day if the service I called to upgrade my package, and they said I can only do it if I cancel the work order after spending 45+ mins on the phone. I'll leave as soon as I can.

I recently left Virgin as they increased my package by £72 a year and the awful customer service.I struggle with the Internet at my age and it takes over an hour on chat before they put you through to a person and then they cut you off. Additionally they took ages to send me an envelope to return the router (which I posted on the day of receipt) they then sent me 2 threatening texts and 2 threatening emails as there chosen return method Yodel took17 days to deliver.Never again went with plus net they answer the phone in 5 mins and sort everything for you,and they are cheaper

This is a company that cheats on you and steals your money. I arrived use on October 31. I saw virgin booth at Dubai airport. The seller (Filipino) convinced me to buy a one year subscription which costs 1750 aed. I told her I will be in UAE for one week only but I need the no. for banking business. I gave the number to my banks and then left thinking everything is ok. After one month virgin suspended my account because they need to update the id card and this only occured through physical appearance. That I was not told because if I have been told I would not have been in trouble now. The seller did not tell me this because she was concerned to sell me the one year subscription to get her commission. Now I have an urgent business with my bank and the banks sends the otp to the number that is blocked. I tried to solve this with Virgin. Every agent gave me the song and dance. I sent all info including my Eid card and my passport but they kept asking for more demands. All of this in order to extend the blocked phone for another week, which btw I have paid for it. No help whatsoever from those agents. Instead they are making things worst. This was a lose of 1750 AED from a company that cheats on you. Lousy business and terrible service. If I can give them minus ten then I would have done that

Very very poor complaints handling

I finally was able to lend a mobile and after 2 days of trying to get through (2 calls dropped after 20 minutes) I did get through and my connection was slowly restablished. I submitted a formal complaint and they have failed to reply to my messages. I have no option to start legal proceedings under schedule 2 pf the 2015 CPA.

Well yes I’m leaving a 5 star and considering I purchased an eSIM and it still doesn’t work you wouldn’t expect it to be different, but after your sales assistant in Dubai Mall in downtown called Santosh Gupta spent 4hrs trying his best (2 x 2hr visits) while serving other customers and being so attentive to all of us was unbelievable. I own my own company and wish I had staff like him working for me, we would be doing twice as good as we currently are. 100% attentive, gave good information, easy 5 stars and an absolute star in your company, who single handed saved you from a bad review so massive thanks for employing this superstar now please fix the eSIM issue pleaseeeee

The customer service has become horrible. I was charged a US roaming fee from inside Canada and had to escalate to a manager to get it removed because the customer service agent was unable to make the adjustment.
The supervisor that I was escalated to suggested that I was lying and told me that if it happened again they would not correct the charge.
Brutal, go with another company.

Mobile can not connect to a network.
My mobile would not connect to any network. I tried everything, no joy. I phone support, on the line for 1 hour and 21 minutes. transferred to x3 different people. Still not resolved.

My last attempt to reach tech support was a nightmare. You’re forced to book a callback, but they don’t tell you what time slots are available or what format is accepted. Guess wrong three times, and they hang up on you—then you start the whole process over again. When the callback finally comes, it’s five hours early because they haven’t accounted for my time zone. The agent, predictably offshore, struggles with English, so every sentence has to be repeated—twice—and still makes no sense.
Sadly, that kind of support is par for the course with most phone companies. But Virgin takes it further.
They keep adding or removing features without notice, pushing you into buying or canceling services. What they don’t tell you is that this voids your entire package, even though your contract length remains unchanged. It’s deceptive and infuriating.
And the service itself? Terrible. I pay $88 a month, and the data coverage on the 100 km stretch I travel for work and shopping is about 20%. Phone signal is slightly better—but not at my home, where it’s never worked. Virgin’s solution? “Reset your network.” I’ve lived here for four years, gone through two phones, and that’s still their answer.
Virgin Mobile has been consistently unreliable, misleading, and frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
