It was a really insightful experience and helped me develop confidence/ understand what I wanted to pursue! only thing is I wish it was a bit longer as you can’t get fully into bigger projects when it’s only a month long

The overall experience were great, enjoyed my time as an intern. Had a wonderful supervisor, and communicated per schedule.

Virtual Internships is an amazing program that allowed me, as a recent graduate, to undertake a remote internship with an organisation in California! The company is extremely supportive and the program offers many career-enhancing resources. I had the opportunity of working with a law firm in Malaysia as a virtual assistant to a partner of the firm. it was a transforming, insightful and full of research experience. I was exposed to businesses and ideas I had never known about, given a first hand hands on role to developing new ideas and testing its efficacy. The work ethics and skill set built was mind blowing. Basically I see it as an opportunity of a lifetime. An experience as I have never know, and one worth every it step of the way.

Firstly i would like to say virtual internship was a great experience for me no doubt about that. My experience manager was very professional. She was very responsive and our communication was good all the time it never felt like we in different continents.

My host company welcomed me very well. I had a great working relationship with my supervisor and he exposed me to lot of things and i gained lot of skills which will be very crucial for me going forward with my career. Working with them was fun.

My Coach. It was always nice talking to her and she help me gain confidence moving forward with my career and now I'm confident that i will find a full time job and virtual internship has helped me a lot.

Overall it really was a great experience for me and I'm very happy to have been part of it.

The internship was very helpful and worth doing to gain experience and network. But the weekly webinars weren’t very helpful to me, so I wish they expanded more with that.

It was such a great experience working with Wirebloom Company. I learned many valuable skills which are useful for my career development.

My time with virtual internships was more than a blessing. I got a chance to work with an Ecommerce company that helped me to gain mastery in web application design using React. I was greatly amazed by the career bridge courses too, not only did they assist me to successfully prepare myself and succeed in my virtual internship but they also armed me with requisite knowledge and understanding for mastering interviews in my future pursuit for job in my field.

The case manager, - name redacted- during this incredibly incredibly expensive internship did not support me AT ALL during my time. The website and weekly check ins were not visually accessible for me with visual impairment. Luckily, the woman I was assigned to work for was great and communicative. However I learned absolutely NOTHING new creating social media posts, which was my task.

This experience present and outline the clear vision of what I should expect and know about the work environment. It’s more like I invest me knowledge on the new chapter in my life which is coming that I must understand to change from a student whose responsibility is to carry out her duties and study to take the exam and raise her average , to someone who works on greater responsibilities than that.

My experience participating in the Virtual Internship program in July of this year has been very positive and valuable. It has enabled me to grow professionally and given me the confidence to pursue my career goals. The support that Virtual Internships offers you in pursuing your career goals is outstanding! I would 100% recommend it to other students/graduates, especially if you are looking to gain insight and experience working in a specific industry of interest.

Although I did learn new things during my internship, I was promised by the managing director of the company that I will be working on several projects and tasks during my interview. However, he did not keep his promises and I ended up working on two projects only, one of which I didn't even get to continue working on since my internship period ended and the managing director still didn't provide us with access to the dashboard. Overall, I was slightly disappointed and underwhelmed with my experience as an intern at Samex LLC.

When the COVID-19 Pandemic hit in 2020 and halted all travel plans, I found myself with an abundance of free time having finished the school year in June. While I could have stayed in my room all summer playing video games and watching TV, I instead chose to look into the possibility of completing an internship. Being in high school at the time and having had little relevant job experience, I was doubtful of the possibility of finding an internship over the summer. Luckily, I managed to find the Virtual Internships Foundations Program: a four-week online internship for driven high school students looking to gain valuable skills, knowledge, and exposure to their desired industry.

While initially a bit dubious of the internship's emphasis on teamwork, by the end of the four weeks, I realized how valuable this was as I was working with like-minded high school students of a similar driven nature. Not only was I able to network with students who were also considering careers in the business/finance sector, but I also received valuable, detailed, and specific feedback from both my host company (B Atomic: an e-insurance company) and program advisors on the quality of my team's work. Despite not having taken any business classes in high school, I was trained in areas such as marketing, brand management, HR, project management, and more which put me in good stead for starting my business degree at university. Finally, a key component of the program was guidance on resume writing, interview etiquette, and career management: all imperative skills when entering the workforce. Overall, this experience provided me the opportunity to network with like-minded people, learn about my industry of interest, produce high-quality, hands-on work, and gain an advantage over competitive first year university business students looking for employment. I would without doubt recommend Virtual Internships to those driven students looking to develop their soft skills, meet like-minded individuals, and learn about their industry of interest.
