I recently flew from Cagliari to Barcelona on August 21st, and it was a very disappointing experience. The flight was delayed by 30 minutes at takeoff, which was just the beginning of the trouble. Upon arrival in Barcelona, we were informed of a technical issue, forcing us to remain on the plane for an additional 25 minutes. Overall, the flight ended up being over an hour late.
Because of this delay, I missed my train connection and had to take a taxi, costing me 43 euros for 15 km. To make matters worse, the flight attendants were not friendly or helpful throughout the journey—they didn’t smile at all, adding to the unpleasantness of the experience. This is not the level of service I expected.

Dear Vueling,
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent flight experience from Brussels to Barcelona on July 31, 2024, departing at 14:50.
While I have been a loyal Vueling customer for two years and have always enjoyed my flights, my recent experience was unfortunately marred by the attitude of one of your air hostesses. I believe her name was Regina, a slim woman with short hair.
I was attempting to make a purchase when I politely asked for her attention. Instead of assisting me in a professional manner, she displayed a disrespectful attitude by waving her hand without acknowledging my request. This behavior was quite surprising and disappointing, as it contrasts sharply with the excellent service provided by your supervisor, who welcomed everyone on board with a warm smile.
I would like to commend your supervisor for their professionalism and for taking the time to listen to my complaint. Their actions are a testament to Vueling's commitment to customer satisfaction.
I hope that by bringing this matter to your attention, Vueling will take steps to address the behavior of this particular air hostess and ensure that all passengers receive the high level of service that the airline is known for.

Le cobraron a mi hija menor 60€ para facturar una maleta que ya estaba incluida en la reserva. Por más que intentó discutir con el personal de Vueling que no podían cobrarle para facturarla, al final le dijeron que si no pagaba no podría subirse al avión.
Yo he hecho una reclamación alegando y presentando todo, pero deniegan sin justificación.
Una amiga suya le dijo que la compañía aérea tenían muchas demandas y que se les conoce con el nombre de Los Piratas del Aire. Nunca mejor dicho

This is the worst airline ever, always pick Ryanair and EasyJet above this crap airline. Ground staff rude, lazy and incompetent. Horrible experience with Vueling.
Worst in air service iv ever had
On the flight I ordered a whisky and coke, she forgot the coke so I had to ask again, then she said she forgot to charge me for the coke so I then had to pay again
The cup I was given had a leak in it so my drink went all over my table and dropped into my shoes. When I showed the stewardess she came back with some napkins and I had to ask her for another whisky. She came back and tried to charge me for it, to which I replied I’m not paying. She said she would go and speak to her supervisor and come back to me but never did. As far as I know she is still asking her supervisor now. She didn’t come back to collect the soaked through napkins either so I had to press the call button. The stewardess then walked straight passed me so I had to call out and say excuse me can you help me.

Vueling Club impossible
I recently flew with Vueling and joined their club to collect Avios. It has proved impossible to do so after the event. Their website just goes round in circles. The help just says that you can do this with no other information. The complaints section limits the input. There is no way to contact them online.

BEWARE!!! Disgusting service by Vueling in Paris. The boarding manager charged an extra 55 euro for our cabin luggage even though my husband was carrying nothing and it was approved by the front counter. He was ridiculously argumentative. I swear these people work by commission.

Very bad airline. An airline that does not care about passengers. But they don't accept them on the plane. Because some idiot sent a smaller plane there. And sell more tickets. Not friendly staff on the plane. And especially in Barcelona at the airport.People's vacations are ruined. And the costs increase ... Best to avoid flying with them.

NOT WORTH THE STRESS OR DISGUSTING TREATMENT flew with my son 28th may to Barcelona the check in staff looked filthy were rude took 2 hours to check in when asked why the girl replied blame VUELING they only pay for one check in staff. She looked fed up and then told me my case was over weight and asked for 45 euros when I weighed it one 3 different scales and all were same weight 19kg but their scale said 24kg.
The cabin crew looked as scruffy and didn’t want to be there the rude male crew man after 40 mins after takeoff while eating his dinner that yes there would be food and drink available soon.
10 mins before landing they got to us two hours after take off to be told don’t have what we asked for and can only have one drink quickly as we were landing.
My son was upset and hungry and they didn’t care. Vile service rude dirty looking crew and never ever will I fly with them.
My case damaged no wheels at Barcelona arrival to be told no refund as there was nobody available at the desk upon arriving at Manchester disgusting company DONT RISK IT

If I could give Vuelling 0 stars I would. They handled things terribly when they lost my bag on the way to Paris from London. The communication firstly was awful. I could see via my location tracker in the bag where it was and I let them know several times it's EXACT location, however I kept getting generic emails saying they are still looking for my luggage. After a few days I saw the tracker had finally moved to Paris airport but none of Vuelling staff told me- it still said 'looking for your bag'. Once in Paris they said that to deliver it to my hotel would take at least 4 days (which is ridiculous given I was within an hour from the airport). I only had 2 nights in Paris so this wouldn't work. I asked for it to be delivered to my next location and they said 1 week. Again I was moving from the next place after two nights. As a final option, they said I MUST come back to the airport to pick it up myself and they will reimburse me the transport fees to and from the airport. I was then promised by 3 separate staff members that I would be reimbursed by doing a claim online- this frustrated me because I was initially told they would pay me at the airport which didn't happen.
After many emails, they refused to pay any compensation. I am out $130 in Uber fees and had to reschedule my whole day, transport included, to come collect the bag myself.
It is so stressful not having a bag and they way they treated me throughout the process was appauling.
I felt manipulated into spending too much time, energy and money to do what was their job in the first place.
Additionally, they lost the waterproof cover I had over my backpack, claiming 'things get damaged in the carasel'. That same cover managed to fly 2 long haul flights of 24 hours from Australia to the UK so that is a pathetic excuse. They of course would not reimburse me for this either.
I am a very forgiving person and if they had of gone about this differently, this would have been solved very amicably with no bad blood. I have been so upset and stressed throughout it all and will never be flying with Vuelling again.

Awful experience! Scam of a company! Told to get to the airport 5 hours earlier as they had cancelled our flight (we had only booked 2 days in Barcelona) we were then told they had booked us into an overbooked flight and we needed to pay for another flight! Insane! We were charged for our tiny luggage bags and staff were rude and unhelpful.. completely ruined the holiday and couldn’t care less! AVOID

Best I can say is it's a real airline that sometimes flies. Couldn't check in online unless you paid extra to select your seat (which, why on earth bother for a two hour flight). If you didn't want to pay extra, it said check in at the airport. People who checked in at the airport were then put on standby and told they probably wouldn't be flying. Flight was delayed so no gate number. Got told to stand in the (very distant) outer / all gate waiting area and wait for the gate number, then whoever got to the gate first might get to fly. But when I tried to check in on the way to the airport it was clear there were loads of seats, just that they wanted you to pay for. They hit you with stand-by JUST to scare you so next time you'll pay extra for a specific seat. I was first to the gate and am on the flight. Livid. Less than if bumped off the flight. But livid nonetheless.
Profiling Americans?
We got to the baggage check-in 2 hrs prior to departure. We were asked by a Vueling employee where we were going when we reached the front of the line. She spoke minimal English and told us to "Wait there".
She then pulled at least a couple dozen people from further back in the line and put them in front of us. When we asked why, she just ignored us.
Luckily, after 30 minutes, a check-in agent freed up in front of us and called us over when this woman wasn't looking. If not for that, six of us would have missed our flight AND our transfer on the other end.
We went from having enough time to get a quick bite to eat and being able to hit the bathroom before boarding, to barely making our flight. It didn't help that our departure gate was at the other end of the airport from the check-in.
At a minimum, we should have at least gotten an explanation. If she was doing this because other people didn't allow themselves enough time, it's not a reason to make us almost miss our flight.
Had that check-in agent in front of us not freed up when she did, we definitely would have missed our flight. This was the first and last time we will ever fly Vueling and explains a bit about why a majority of others have given Vueling the lowest possible rating.
Never ever Vueling again
i bought two direct return tickets with Vueling airlines.
The first was bought without stops from Copenhagen to Malaga from the 27th of January to the 10th of february.
Three month prior to this flight Vueling changed my flight from a 3 hours and 40 minutes direct flight down to an 8 hours and 5 minutes flight down with a stop in Barcelona.
Furthermore they changed my return ticket from a direct flight of 3 hours and 40 minutes to a flight the day before, with a stop in Barcelona and a flighttime of 5 hours and 30 minutes.
I then was offered a refund which I accepted and on the 15th of november I received an email stating, that my money would be refunded within 7 days.
Today on the 8th of may approximately 6 month later they haven´t been returned yet.
The second flight was a direct flight from Copenhagen to Bilbao.
Likewise on this flight, they wrote me a couple of month after the purchase, that they had changed my flight home from Bilbao, from a 3 hour direct flight to a 7 hours flight with a stop in Barcelona.
All I can say is, that if you have any selfrespect you avoid buying with this company.
