I sent my gun in for a recall. Even trying to get it back, fedex didn't show up when they were going to and told me to contact shipper. Walther customer service won't answer their phone, I set myself up for the "call back" service and my phone rings once and hangs up. The operator option goes straight to voicemail and the voice mailbox is full. Worst customer service ever

2nd review!!! Since my first review I have not received any response from Walther...Their products, while wildly expensive, are good...Their customer service is nonexistent!!!! This will be my LAST Walther....

Ok when I first purchased my pdp it was very hard to break down after 300 rounds I went to clean it and I can not break the gun down at all I called the service department and told the guy what was going on and he basically told me I was full of crap very condescending and also feeling like I was bothering him he then proceeded to ask me what I wanted to do I laughed and said I wanted if fixed he then tells if they deem it my fault I will be charged $35 shipping each way plus a $35 setvice fee or something I love walther guns butt their customer service sucks so bad i felt completely belittled by them more to comes when i get my firearm back from them hipoint has 10 times better service not even kidding
Walther Can’t Deliver on Selling Point(s)
I recently purchased a Walther PDP and submitted my request for an optics plate. I received no acknowledgment that my request had been received and a week+ had gone by. I called to verify that my request had been received several times and every time I got a voice mail. I finally decided to leave a message. I never got a call back. I proceeded to contact them via email. The response I got was that they were out of optics plate and did not know when they would be getting more in-house. I called again and this time I just tried every option on the automated answering service. Let’s just say that when I did get a live person they seemed bothered to have to speak with a customer. I will not purchase another Walther until their customer support drastically improves. These firearms cost far too much money to receive this poor of customer service and support. Also, purchasing a gun that is optic ready and provides the optics plate of your choosing is a selling point, one they cannot deliver. No acknowledgment and no ETA on the plates, makes me regret purchasing the firearm all together but the lack of support takes the cake. The guns are great their support suck so just pray you don’t ever need to contact the company for anything.

Ordered 2 mag for a pdp and a spring for…
Ordered 2 mag for a pdp and a spring for ppq on Nov 10th. Item did not ship until Dec 6 and then the mags were not there when they did arrive. Called again and was told they would re ship them . Dec 20th they should have arrived. They did not. Basically they told me they were shipped and told me I never contacted them. Now working with the credit card company to get my money back. I know its Arkansas but even they should be able to put them in a bag and send them out. Buy from someplace else because they are either inept or incompetent.

I had a p22 slide crack at the catch release the gun was 3 years old or so and maybe 1000round they told me to fill out a form and send in the slide 1 week later they sent me a new slide and captured spring at no cost. very impressed I will by Walther again great service and fast. When I emailed my issue I got a response in 5 minutes!!!! Thanks Walther!
Walter arms is a great company
Walter arms is a great company. I had an issue with a recoil spring of my PPS M2. They immediately sent me the replacement at no cost, comparable only to Glock. But they answer much quicker
6 Month CF. They just lost a lifelong customer
Complete S--- Show. I ordered items nearly 8 months ago, and the store suddenly canceled the order, no notification given. No refund announced. I called customer service, who informed me of the sudden decision and that my items will still arrive on time. Shortly thereafter, I receive an automated email that I can reorder my items on the new website, since the previous store was now closed. I then visit the new online store, and the items I needed to reorder were not in stock, and I couldn't preorder them. I then call back, and they assure me that I will receive my refund. I am a longtime Walter firearms owner, but after this incident, I will no longer support them if this is how they treat their customers. Doesn't matter anyway, I can't use their weapons if I can't order the necessary parts to safely use them. My first weapons were Walther, now I'm moving on.
Poor customer service but great senior leadership!
My review covers the customer service and support of Walther Arms. I called their support on 6/22/2020 and spoke to Paul Speer. He was rude and did not provide good customer service. When I told him I planned to contact corporate leadership about my experience, he stated "go ahead, they will direct you back to me". That pretty much summed up how he felt about providing me a good customer experience. I had a defective magazine sold with my pistol purchase and it was only one week old. I was expected to pay out of pocket to ship the defective magazine back for replacement. The sad issue is I spent over $800 for this firearm only to be told to spend more to ship a defective piece of it back for replacement. I would highly recommend not purchasing a firearm from this company, very poor customer service.
Follow up to original post 6/26/2020
I emailed the CEO of Walther and was contacted the following day by their Director of Consumer Services. I am very impressed that I was able to get such a fast response to my concerns. I still feel the original tech that I interfaced with should never be allowed to work with customers. I am raising my review to fours stars because I am very satisfied that Walther senior management stepped up to address my concerns. I am also changing the title to reflect how the company views customers vs. how their techs view customers. Much appreciated!
