I have moved 3 times using Moves/Ward Thomas and had storage of different amounts with them for 23 years. The staff are always cheery and a great help, whether it's simply going into the storage containers or actual moving. They are extremely secure and careful with all items, big and small. I'm almost sad to have finally removed the last items! Colin and Shirley have always given great personal attention to requests.

The first team who came to the packing were the very best I ever had but the team who delivered to my address 6 weeks later were good but not as good. The men in the teams are very polite and obliging. I would recommend them.

Overall good, I felt staff were hard working, but communication let us down. I needed a piano removing, made this very clear and gave all the necessary details. I was told it should be fine, it wouldn’t be the first time the team had done this, and generally given the impression I didn’t need to worry further. They team tried but they knew nothing about moving pianos. It was a straight-forward move, modern upright on the ground floor. They said they couldn’t move it because of ‘access issues’ which refers to nothing other than inexperience moving pianos, as two men from a piano removal company, recommended to me subsequently by Antony Ward Thomas, moves it in a flash.
I should have liked to have been told, clearly, that the team they were sending did not include people experienced with moving pianos and that if I wanted to be certain it was moved on that day, I should pay for it as an ‘additional’ and they would get their piano removal expert on site too. Thus would have saved a lot of bother and irritation.

We used Antony Ward services to store items of furniture to be sent abroad. A. Ward team checked the furniture to make sure it was as we had ordered and in good condition and alerted us when it was not the case. They then packed the items very carefully. They organised and coordinated the transport abroad. We found the service to be excellent and good value for money; the team is very responsive and professional.

We used Anthony Ward to move our four bedroom house. Although their movers are friendly and constructive we found them very disorganised and messy. This made for a stressful unpacking and settling period at the other end as it was nearly impossible to find the essentials we needed. We also found the price which the head office charged us for the service much too high for all the work we had to put into the packing, unpacking and sorting out ourselves.

I had belongings and furniture in store for a v. long time and I always received great help in all matters to do with this from Colin Carter at the Park Royal office. It's a shame I did not take up his advice and organize to sell or donate most of my books from the Ward Thomas storage warehouse rather than moving them to the other end of the country.

Came on time and did a thorough work packing our rooms ready for some building work.
