Great service from this company
I used this company to get rid of some old costume jewellery, and few odd bits. They straight away sent me the package I needed to send my box . I took it to post office and within 3 days of doing so , a very nice lady called me with an offer. It was very reasonable and I accepted . Within a day the money was in my back account . Very pleased with the service and courtesy I was shown by the company. Will definitely use them again and certainly recommend them .

I put a bad review on because there was a weeks delay on any notification.This was down to the wonderful post office service that took their time to deliver a first class package and not this company.
Their service was extremely prompt when the package eventually arrived and payment was payed in without any delay.
I would advise them to inform customers more clearly about postal times.
I would thoroughly recommend them.

Quick and very easy
Sorted out various bits and bobs that were hanging around and sent them off to WGD. 2 days later I got a phone call with a decent offer, within 2 hours the money was in my account!
What I really liked was that I had sent some costume jewellery in with other stuff and the lady told me that they give stuff like that to the local hospice to sell in their shop. So not only did I make a bit of money but I helped their hospice too!
Will definitely use again.

I recently had some items returned to me by Vintage Cash Cow after rejecting a very poor offer. I then decided to have one more try with another company and I’m so glad I did. Everything ran to clockwork and I received an excellent offer within a few days. Which I readily accepted. The money was in my bank within an hour. Returned my items broken
Sent my mum's old costume jewellery in for valuation and was offered £20 for it all so I got it returned. (I've since sold only a couple of items for more than that!). However, that wasn't my issue. I received my jewellery back with chains tangled in knots, a jewel missing from its setting on one choker and one bead necklace completely snapped with beads missing. These were not broken when they left me. Not happy.

Sent my package of mostly jewellery and watches. Made sure to send more than 8 items as advised. Sent via post office and got an offer over the phone within 3 days. Very fair offer and more than happy. Straight into my bank account within the hour once I accepted. I would recommend if you have any old unused valuables. Make sure you read through their accepted items first, and package your items with care.

This is a delightful company which offers a professional and friendly service.
I sent various items after checking their website and booklet to see what kind of things they can accept.
A lovely lady called Angela contacted me very soon afterwards with a really good offer. I accepted the offer and the £ was in my account within an hour or two.

This is what the about us says;

But please ladies and gents don’t waste your time, they will only take things they need, which you don’t have! They wouldn’t even accept my items for a valuation. Yes one is broken but on their site… send us your stuff, even if it’s broken!
Misleading, unfair and overall a waste of time. As per the other negative reviews, even if I did send them off I would have received around £1.50 by the sounds of it so best to avoid.

Your email which I have quoted here, lists your items and asks if they are worth sending, I politely responded that these items wouldn't be for us, you wrote:-
"I have various (30 or so) coins from the 1900s both UK and foreign, some carry a little bit of value, a broken stainless steel Cuban chain, 9kt gold plated necklace with lab-grown stones.
Please advise if you would accept these as I know I should ask before sending the below 7 items."
You would not have received any offer at all from us, we would have simply sent your items back to you.
We do very occasionally have to turn down items that have no worth, we just saved you the bother of packing and posting them to us.

Your parcel was received on 24th November, and you were contacted the next day, a Saturday. You happily accepted our offer of £70 and we paid you via Bank Transfer within an hour. You left us a message later that day, but on Saturdays our phones go to voice mail after midday until Monday morning. I’m afraid that by the time we heard your message on Monday morning changing your mind, saying you wanted your items back we had already processed them and hence were unable to return them to you. We tried to phone you numerous times to no avail. As we hadn’t heard from you at all for some days after leaving you a message, we are surprised to read your review today.
We apologize that this has caused you distress, but there was no intent to do so.
