We paid a deposit in May for a replacement conservatory roof with sky pod. Finally got an installation date ( after chasing) for today but nobody as turned up! No communication from company. Very poor customer service !! Have been trying to contact them for past week to confirm installation. No one is answering phone and it goes to answer phone whole time. How do we contact this company??? Somebody please help. They have a lot of our money!!!

1.Weathershield website is no longer available on Google
2.Maidstone shop is saying permanently closed.
3. Answer phone goes to voicemail still.
4. E mails are now being returned saying their mailbox is " closed".
5. It seems that Weathershield is owned by Anglia conservatories - same address and telephone number and again no response.
5.I have requested a cash back via our credit card company citing section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act. Would advise anyone to try the same. I think it's the only way any of us will hopefully see monies returned.

I am so glad I persisted in paying our deposit by credit card and not bank transfer/ cheque they were insisting I do in May.

An update: I paid a £9,500 deposit in May 2022 for a Conservatory, contract stating construction to commence in June 2022. After chasing this company to stary, So far all that I got from this company is a a builder turn up, destroy my patio - breaking its tiles, and then leaving after 1 hr of work. The company has since removed its original website, blocked phone calls and is now working through other registered Ltd companies. Please stay Away!

Constantly chasing this company after paying them almost 10k deposit for the installation of the conservatory. They keep moving the build date, which I have to chase for. No correspondence whatsoever, very unprofessional in their approach but very engaging before you pay the deposit.

Where do I start. Nothing but problems, no one ever answers the phone, if they do then the person you need isn’t there or who ever is there just doesn’t know the answer and just makes excuses. Ruthless, pushy, bullying sales tactics, no customer service at all from office staff, no one knows anything about anything.

I’m pretty sure this company is a scam. Reviews are good on check a trade (probably fake), wish we had read trust pilot.

Please please please DO NOT use this 2 Bob outfit you will regret it.

Absolutely appalling.

We have paid for a deposit on a new conservatory in April 2022 and was told that our council planning permission submission was made on 20 April 2022. We are now on 24 Aug 2022 and have confirmation from Council that they have NO planning permission request on record, and thus, no MC reference. We are meantime being told time and again by Weathershield solutions that the submission was made however they are unable or unwilling to provide an MC reference, probably because it does not exist! They are liars and you are advised to stay real clear of this company! Do not be fooled by the higher ratings as I suspect they are all fake! We will be cancelling our contract with them and taking legal action to recoup our deposit!
UPDATE: Their stated office in Maidstone has closed down and is empty!

We recently had Weathershield come by to provide quotes for some replacement double glazing.

The salesman was polite, however when it came to the end of our meeting he became very pushy and was clearly keen to get a deal. In hindsight, this should have raised some alarms as he was also very against us trying to get other quotes. After some haggling, thinking we were getting a good deal we agreed on a price.

Upon reflection, we felt we had not actually been given a good price and upon checking our contract realised that we could cancel. As such, we got some other companies in to provide alternative quotes and realised that the prices being offered by Weathershield, even with the agreed discount, were massively inflated (their initial quote was three times the amount of the cheapest alternative company).

As a result of this, we didn’t feel that the salesman had been particularly honest and so decided not to use the company and cancel our order. The reception team were helpful and polite in this and accepted the cancellation without issue. However, the company were a bit difficult when it came to issuing the refund. They claimed that all refunds are processed on a Friday via a bank transfer, not to the original payment method. They agreed to process the refund on the next Friday however we did not receive it. Upon following up we were then told that the company had 14 working days to issue the refund, despite agreeing to refund us on a specific date.

I sought advice on this and it was confirmed that this was a breach of contract and when I informed Weathershield of this they agreed to issue the refund that week, which was done.

I have not given a one star rating as we did not end up using the company so I cannot comment on their workmanship/product quality. However, we felt a review was necessary given some of the business practices that we experienced as we felt they were bordering on unethical. The sale was pressured, prices were over inflated and the refund process was not in line with consumer rights. We would therefore advise proceeding with caution with this company and suggest that they review these business practices and their sales tactics so as not to lose potential customers in the future, and ensure that they are treated fairly.

My 81 year old mother paid £3.7K (in full!) for a replacement glass panel (sky pod), for her conservatory in June 2021.
They undertook 2 full site surveys confirming the exact work that was required.
We then waited 6 months before their installers eventually turned up in January 2022. They then announced they could not do the work without other building work being required first - which they would do as an additional cost!
We called the office and reminded them of the 2 site surveys confirming the exact work required, but all to no avail!
They subsequently refunded just £2K and kept the remaining £1,728!
Despite phone calls , emails and letters they refuse to speak to us.
Is there a Ombudsman who can help here?

Very poor customer care after completion we have had nothing but trouble with our conservatory since built we had trims coming off around the roof pod it took many phone calls to get them stuck back on the ceiling has cracked in three places Weathershield said it was just living in cracks and they was my responsibility to get fixed and now we can’t open one of the doors as it is stuck shut and we have made 20 phone calls they say after three months they are still waiting for the runners for the bottom the doors are out of line and are very hard to pull shut and lock do not deal with this company they are not trustworthy or professional

Not a good experience. They firstly mid-sold the roof of my conservatory as it would give me the cooler environment when it was hot but I am experiencing exactly the same as with the previous polycarbonate roof! It is still unbearably hot! Do I cannot work there as this was the plan to pay them this amount. So I just wasted £6k for nothing! And on top of that it took them forever to get it done where I had to chase them several times. They cancelled the appointments twice both the survey appointments and the installation appointments. I had to really argue with them to say that was not acceptable but they have nothing of customer services! So if you want do business with them but if you have the same issues as I did! Remember this review. I certainly will never have business with them again. Not reliable and very misleading company.

I ordered 3 windows from this company. The price was quite high but I needed them within a month and a half, so I agreed to pay. The order was fulfilled in time, however I wasn’t impressed with the product, installation and customer service. The ventilation grills are flimsy and full of rubbish, the sash dividers are too thin and tremble every time I open/close the windows. The fitter installed the windows in a rush, all screws crooked, lots of rubbish left in the frames and on the floor. When I sent them a complaint, of course, there was no answer. Definitely, would not recommend

They initially came to provide a quote in late October and advised installation would begin in January. Installation did not begin in January…or February and did not start until March.
5 employees were shouting and swearing to such an extent my neighbours complained. They wrote ‘Lee eats poo’ and ‘jada pinkett-smith woz ere’ on my wall. The timber frame was installed, but no notice was taken to an existing rotting wooden post that was part of the frame and this was left in place. Despite complaining about this the timber post was not removed. I expect that It won’t be long until this develops into a structural issue. I had to be revisited about four to five times to fix snags that were overlooked. Each time the employee blaming others in the team. Other issues :damage to the bedroom window where the fitter fitted the gutter too low and tried to accomadate this fault by scraping the upvc of the window (see photos). A gap was present also allowing water to escape behind the fascia and stream down the wall. Other various issues included blatant gaps in the roofs and doors structure - you could see these clearly, capping missed from guttering, holes left in guttering, marks left of new soffits and fascia’s, replacement door handle not fit for purpose (I was given a discount for this, despite it being a security risk), poor trimming and making good. This company would try and rip off their own mother. Still not received certificates and scaffold still up three months later. If it had not been for my tenacity they would have been happy to leave the job unfinished. Frankly a disgrace and they should be ashamed of their attitude, poor workmanship and scamming nature. I also did not appreciate the pressure tactics of one ‘owner’ who called me multiple times early one morning to pressure me to make payment on work that was not yet completed. I would be worried to have this company deal with the elderly in the intimidating fashion they think it’s acceptable to talk to me, their own employees spoke of occasions where people have been taken advantage of. I am now waiting my certification for the work completed in order to obtain certificates for selling the property and these have still not been received I have been told they cannot be chased and they have no contact details to obtain this. Not only that - their scaffold is still up 3 months later!! AVOID. I didn’t despite other reviews saying similar comments. I wish I had listened to them!

Made appointments with me twice to qoute for a porch, twice they didn't show up. When I call them they were very dismissive and not apologetic at all. No respect for people's time what so ever!!

I had a new roof with skylight window fitted and the company just failed to communicate with me every step of the way. They told untruths about production and materials, the length of time was hindered by Covid but the complete lack of any explanation, contact and customers services was appalling. What should have taken 2 days to fit ended up taking 5 days again something that could have been resolved through effective communication but one person told me everything was ready and in stock then when it comes to it they had already ripped my roof off before they decide to tell me that they are still waiting for parts!! I waited 7 months for the roof to be fitted and they had half the payment upfront. However an hour after the fitters left I was called and asked for the final payment, I hadn't even seen the finished product!!! The product was alright but not what I had asked for and definitely not what was in the image sent through by the salesman. :(
Would never use this Weathersheild Solutions in Kent again.

Apart from some staffing problems within the company due to Covid 19 the windows are very nice and were professionally installed, it’s too early to give a quality response as it’s only a few weeks since the installation but at the moment I am very pleased with the company

Roof replacement on my outdated lean to, we had the windows and doors replaced as well as a wall built. Completely transformed the space. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

I signed the contract last APRIL 2021 to have my rear path done with a resin finish.
I'am still waiting on when the work will be done.

New conservatory installed, we are very happy with the final product. I can recommend.

Worst customer service I have ever seen in my life a 3 day job took 3 months here chasing for money before the job finish and a rough job not finished also not received building control fenca yet close to a year so far

My wife and I ordered a new front door from WeatherShield. The ordering was easy to do and they kept us informed about delivery and did a very efficient and helpful installation. An excellent service all round!
