The team arrived on time & didn't mess about getting the job started!
All work was carried out to a good standard & professional.I would recommend the lads I for a pay rise.

Refused to complete survey if my partner was there (male) but happy to send two males whilst I’m alone. Damp detector straight off Amazon was used to prove I had damp. Old house, deteriorating render I knew the score. Quoted for extractor fan and trickle vents over £1k! Scaffolding for one side £2900, I’d just had roof completed front and side for a third of that. For work I ‘needed’ doing just over £26k, nearly fell off my chair but I was standing. Quotes were inconsistent when I said I wasn’t prepared to pay that, kept asking what I could afford. Damp course originally nearly £5k but brought down to just over £2k. When I said I was going to get a few more quotes and try gauge to going rate, he literally upped and left. His demeanour changed as he wasn’t going to get his commission there and then. Awaiting to receive quote by email but won’t hold me breath. Read the genuine negative reviews.

So far I've had a very positive experience with Home Energy Save GB. I was lucky to get an appointment with Chris for a damp survey of my property quite quickly, as there had been a cancellation in the area that day. He was very informative and offered his suggestions, making sure I was offered a good price for the damp proof course and new extractor fan needed to improve my property. I also spoke to another colleague called Andy on the phone who helped me through the financial questions that I had. They were both very patient with me throughout and made sure I understood everything before going ahead. When Chris left I knew exactly what to expect on the day that the work was going to be done, which made me feel confident.

This morning Paul and Sam showed up on time, ready to work and very approachable. They talked me through what work they were going to do, let me know of any issues they came across during and explained in detail why those issues may have occured and what else, if anything, could be done to further prevent occurrence. They worked efficiently all day, cleaned up as they went and left no rubbish behind. Before leaving they explained to me that I would get a follow-up appointment in a year to check that everything is working as it should. They walked me through everything they had done and made sure I was happy with the work before leaving.

I'm personally very impressed with this company so far, it will take up to a year for me to see how well the damp proof course has taken. Fingers crossed there will be no issues but I understand there is a 25 year guarantee, so I'm still hopeful that the work will be carried out to a good standard.

Just waved goodbye to the guys who completed our cavity wall insulation and I honestly couldn’t fault them. They were brilliant from start to finish — so polite, courteous and professional.

They explained everything that was happening from the outset, including the type of beading being used and how the process worked, which was really reassuring. The job itself was completed in no time at all; they were incredibly efficient but still took the time afterwards to clean everything up and inspect their work to make sure it had all been completed to a high standard.

Ellick, who initially came out to carry out the survey, was equally polite and professional. He took the time to explain everything and gave us some background about the company, which gave us that extra bit of reassurance before going ahead.

The whole experience has been professional from start to finish and I would 100% use them again. It’s absolutely worth paying that little bit extra when you receive this level of service and have confidence that the job has been done properly.

Might complaint is about the really poor aftercare.I had a damp proof course installed...quite painless but very very expensive.When winter came around we found ridiculously high readings on our de humidifier and damp meter.Am now on my 4th call to get someones attention to discuss the way forward.Have spent all afternoon waiting for a promised call that was said to be in half an hour...dont use this company...no backup care

I received a phone call from this company, having used them last year, and booked a guy to come round and do the one-off check that had been promised after having DPC and cavity wall insulation installed last October. When Johnny turned up, it became clear there had been a misunderstanding and he was sent to give me a loft insulation quote. I explained to Johnny what I was expecting to have done. He was very understanding and did a check round the house with his damp meter. Although he did not receive a sale from me, I will be using the company next year when I move house as their work last year made a big difference to the warmth in my house and all the staff are amazing.

Matthew and Curtis have worked their backsides off these past two days, they have really gone the extra mile. I'm so grateful for their help. Excellent job boys. 🎉

Firstly the surveyor found the issue and did not try to sell anything that was needed and took his time not only getting the survey together but advised exactly why the items were needed what we needed and was very patient with my 80 year old mum. When they came and installed the items were needed and the other things required he was very polite and worked quickly and cleaned up after himself would highly recommend

David was very helpful explaining the whole damp problem and possible solutions.

Job done within 2 days if survey. Superb service, excellent clear communication and a job well done by professional, friendly and tidy lads. Would definitely recommend.

Two teams, each on the same day
1st team removed old insulation from the loft cleanly and tidily, without spreading dust, and removed it
2nd team arrived shortly after to spray Loft Guard to deal with existing mould and prevent it re-forming

Great service, fitted in within a few days of Survey for DMEV and Cirro Pure. All staff were professional and transparent throughout.

Had this service done about 6/8 months ago, received all the equipment and it was installed they told me that the product was manufactured by them and that it was their design looked at the product more closely and it looks second hand and I looked the product up on google with the label that was on it only to see other people where selling it at a fraction of the cost. It has also stopped working and I will be contacting them shortly to discuss this.

We have tried calling every day this week regarding an issue that has reappeared following a damp proof course, which was carried out with guarantees provided.

Unfortunately, signs of damp are now showing again, and we desperately need the problem to be inspected and rectified. We have repeatedly been told that the matter would be passed on to the relevant team and that we would receive an email, but despite this, we have heard absolutely nothing.

We are extremely disappointed with the aftercare and lack of communication. We have been left with no other choice but to leave a poor review, as we simply want the issue looked into and resolved.

We sincerely hope someone contacts us very soon to arrange an inspection and put this right.

A senior surveyor, Johnny, came to quote on loft insulation. He was extremely, clean, tidy, polite and knowledgeable. Although I didn't commit to buying services currently, he helped me think through my issues, options and left me with a sensible quote for my requirements. If I decide to progress with the work, I will default back to this business (very professional) and especially Johnny. I would trust him to initiate quality work. Thank you for your time
