Easy and professional process
Kirk, came out to our house after confirming via text that he would be arriving within a half hour. He looked over our car and offered us a fair price. Within a half hour we had a check in our hands. He put a lock boot on our car and we are waiting to have our car taken away within the next few days. It was a seamless process.

I would return in a heartbeat
Wow, this was so easy and quick! I would definitely use webuyanycar.com again. Rod was super-efficient in evaluating my car (I was able to make an appointment 1 day after going to the website). He explained the process to me. There were no surprises when I went to drop off and sell the car.

I think i was scammed
I think i was scammed. I never saw a mechanic that supposedly looked at the car. They give you a good price over the phone and then low ball you when you get there. I don't think I am the only one they do this to. Where were the mechanics that checked out the car??

Hi Joseph,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you left our West Norriton branch feeling disappointed. We take accusations of unfair practices very seriously, so I want to address your concerns directly.
Regarding the inspection: To clarify, we do not use separate mechanics hidden in a garage. Our Branch Managers are fully trained to inspect the vehicles themselves. We encourage customers to accompany the manager during the walk-around so they can point out exactly what they see—transparency is very important to us.
Regarding the price: Our online valuation is based solely on the vehicle details provided by the customer during the quote process. That figure is subject to a professional appraisal at the branch to confirm the car's physical condition matches those disclosures.
I want to ensure your visit was handled correctly. I have logged a formal complaint, and the Area Manager for West Norriton will reach out to you directly to review the details of your inspection.
Warmest regards,
Jeremy, on behalf of webuyanycar.com
The agent was so kind and honest
The agent was so kind and honest. I was given updates throughout the whole process and quickly started the process of selling.
I think everything was fair. Sure, privately selling is a little more but not worth all of the headaches for me to meet people every day.

West Norriton was a great place to go to!!
Rod made it a very smooth process and was great to work with. The person I spoke with on the phone was also great. This was my first time selling a car and although I was nervous at first I felt like it was a great experience and will definitely be recommending this location!!

Experience was subpar due to website price
Website user experience was subpar. It asks for disclosure of all known issues then provides a price. The price provided is for a car with no issues or damage - so why ask for issues in the first place? I was up front so why did you do a soft bait and switch on the price?
Manager on duty was great; the only bright spot of the transaction. Since I already wasted my time getting there and went through all the motions, I decided to sell the car to them anyway. Probably be the last time.

Hi dm,
Our leadership team has tried reaching out to you several times over the past month. We have tried calling at various times but have been unable to reach you and we never receive a call back.

Hi dm,
Thank you for choosing webuyanycar.com and for taking the time to leave a review about your experience at our West Norriton, PA location. We’re sorry to hear we didn’t deliver the five-star experience we’re known for and appreciate your honest feedback.
We take allegations of “bait and switch” very seriously. Bait and switch is an illegal and immoral business practice and it absolutely does not occur at webuyanycar.com. Our goal is to provide a transparent and fair appraisal process for every customer.
Our online valuation tool is designed to give an estimate based on the information provided by the customer. It’s not a firm offer, and a physical inspection is always required to confirm the vehicle’s actual condition. You disclosed a dent on the door during your online appraisal, and we appreciate your honesty. However, during our professional in-person appraisal, we found additional issues that were beyond what we consider fair wear and tear for a vehicle of this age and mileage:
• Dent on the Fender
• Dent on the Quarter
• Multiple deep dents on the passenger side doors
• Oxidation on the Hood
We also ran an OBD-II diagnostic scan and found the following fault code:
• P0420 – Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)
These findings impacted the final valuation. We always invite our customers to join us during the appraisal so they can see what we see and ask questions throughout the process.
We’re especially pleased to hear that the manager on duty provided excellent service and was a bright spot in your experience. Delivering outstanding customer care is a top priority for us, and we’ll be sure to pass along your kind words to them.
Despite the undeclared issues found during the appraisal, we’re glad we were able to offer a fair market value that you were happy to accept. If you’ve had second thoughts about selling your vehicle, please know that we’ll happily unwind the deal—just reach out to our customer experience team.
We’ve logged a formal complaint on your behalf and asked the Area Manager responsible for our West Norriton team to reach out to you directly. We want to listen to your feedback and find a way to restore your faith in webuyanycar.com. If you have any further concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer experience team at customerfeedback@webuyanycarusa.com.
Warmest regards,
Jeremy, on behalf of webuyanycar.com
