If you are considering Weed Man for property maintenance, be intensely aware of their bad-faith billing practices. I signed up for continuous service in February 2026 based on a contract that guaranteed free and unlimited reapplications. When my property remained overgrown after their first treatment, I invoked this guarantee in writing.
Weed Man delayed, evaded, and rescheduled this free service at least five times, including a confirmed appointment where the technician simply did not show up. They then used the expiration of their 28-day reapplication window—a delay they solely caused—as justification to charge my card for a new, unapproved service cycle. When confronted with photographic evidence of the thriving weeds and their own scheduling failures, management explicitly refused to refund the fraudulent charge. I am executing a formal chargeback. This is not a lawn care company; it is a predatory billing operation.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE COMPANY. Be very careful for what you sign up for as they will automatically enroll you in services that you don't need anymore. The customer service is very snarky and when filing this complaint the lady who answered the call starting laughing. Hope this is a warning for others to go somewhere else

This company is an absolute joke! Here’s my story. They came out in December trying to grab some new business. Seemed like they knew what they were talking about and had decent pricing. Then I saw why. No service, no calls, no contact, nothing. I guess this is why they need new customers. So I called them…in late May. I got the “oh we were just scheduling you”. They came out and fertilized the lawn, never had a company come out and fertilize first, but made sense since they missed their late winter early spring crabgrass, weed prevention treatment. After they came out and fertilized, they said they’d be back in 2 to 4 weeks to treat the wheats. 2 to 4 weeks came and wet. So I called them back to tell them that they were fired. I received multiple phone calls trying to earn my business back. How can we make it right? Will do everything we need to do blah blah blah blah blah. Finally I get a manager on the phone who calls me up and says he’s gonna have somebody out in one week to treat my yard. So I played along to see how this went. On the day they were supposed to come at 4 PM I got a phone call telling me that they weren’t gonna make it because they had equipment failures. So I again called them up and said you know what don’t bother. Again got another call from their resolution department. They begged and pleaded for me to keep my account and I agreed to give them one more shot, but warned them that if they did not get it right this time that would be the end of it. So they rescheduled me and we’re supposed to be out today. Again at 4 PM they called me to tell me they weren’t gonna make it out. They had gotten called back to the office. So equipment failure, call back to the office, begged and pleaded for my business, and this was their last chance. So I fired them. I’ve never seen a company within an office so desperate for business, but they actually can’t provide service. I would love to write a review and tell you how they did my lawn, but they can’t show up to treat the lawn so there is no review of how well they did. This is a review on how poor of a company they are. I typically never write reviews however decided that a company with this poor of Service people just need to know. Suggest my Experian and do what you want with this, but I would recommend any other company besides Weedman and if you use them, good luck I hope you get better service than I did.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. They literally lie about everything. The weeds you see in the pic , they said it was a type of grass lol., called crabgrass monkey grass. Refused to spray it. I called they said they eould fix it, they came out and sprayed, then sent me a $75 bill for fixing a problem their lues and lack of work ethic created. So i call again, they said they would have some call in 10 minutes. That was two hours ago. The pic of my yard is what 3 months of weedman does to your yard. Stay far away from these guys

I gave Weedman another chance this year after canceling last year because my lawn was overtaken by crabgrass, and the results have been just as bad. The burrweed in my front yard were never properly treated and are spread all over the front yard. Even after paying for a special crabgrass pre-emergent treatment, crabgrass is already coming back. Customer service promised a free follow-up application and said a technician would contact me, but 10 days later I still haven’t received a single call. Meanwhile, my neighbor across the street already had a Weedman technician out spraying their lawn.

Weed Man has been calling my phone multiple times per day for a year. I have talked to their office about it and they still call me. Beware putting your phone number here for a quote. They may call you multiple times every single day.

The Weed Man doesn’t just have bad business practices — they have predatory ones. After repeatedly asking them to stop contacting me, they continued calling anyway. Not once. Not twice. Repeatedly. Apparently “please stop calling me” isn’t something their staff is trained to understand.
Let me be clear about what this company does: they harass residents with unsolicited phone calls, ignore explicit requests to stop, and apparently believe that pestering people into submission is a valid sales strategy. It’s not. It’s illegal.
Here’s what I found when I dug a little deeper — The Weed Man is NOT BBB accredited. So when something goes wrong (and based on my experience, it will), good luck getting any accountability. There’s no accreditation, no standards, no professionalism. Just endless, unwanted phone calls from a company that doesn’t respect “no.”
I have already filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission for violation of Do Not Call regulations. Each illegal call carries fines of over $50,000. I’d encourage every other Columbus resident who has been harassed by this company to do the same at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
There are dozens of legitimate, professional lawn care companies in Columbus who will respect your time, your privacy, and your boundaries. This is not one of them. Save yourself the headache, the spam calls, and the frustration. Take your money — and your peace and quiet — somewhere else.
To The Weed Man: You were asked to stop. You didn’t. Now the FTC will hear about it, the internet will hear about it, and every person reading this will know exactly what kind of company you are.

All I did was make an inquiry. Wanted to consider and evaluate options - and was clear I would contact them if I desired service. Over 2 weeks now - and have had either a call or email - often both - daily. Have blocked numbers, marked as SPAM - and still getting thru. I have had better experiences with Used Car Salesman. Based on their aggressive sales alone - would NEVER use their service. One more contact - and I will send a coplaint to the BBB.

Chris, my technician with Weedman Fresno, has been very helpful with my lawn in Hanford, CA. I have an problem with a carrot weed in my lawn and he has been very diligent about taking care of this issue. He is knowledgeable, kind and dependable. I appreciate his workmanship, as he works hard to take care of my problem. Thank you CHRIS.

What a terrible and unethical company! They not only had horrible customer service but they double charged and refused to refund me. I never want to work with them again, and I hope you save yourself the hassle if you're considering it.

I’ve been a customer for a few years and spent over a couple thousand dollars. My lawn is not getting any better, it’s getting worse. I’ve had seasonal fertilizers, pre-emergents for weeds, grub control, several aerations, lime treatments, over-seeding, and I’ve watered as recommended. I have complained to them a few times and I must say the staff is very nice and seems like they want to help. I recently logged in to see where my prepaid services stand and I can’t access my account. It’s telling me my username, password, and customer number do not exist. I’m fed up and they know it…. I really hope they didn’t cut me off with about 3 prepaid services still to come. They have not tried to make me satisfied, they just keep giving me excuses and there are other lawns with other lawn treatment services thriving. I’m very frustrated and feel like I’ve wasted thousands of dollars. You’ve been warned…. Their prices were good but their products don’t seem to work.

No reviews here I no see why I just wasted $300 on a low quality bud mean while berverlypharm.com products have always satisfied me . I only wanted to try something different now am regretting not coming back here for no reason bye I’ll stick to berverly pharm
