West Country Blacksmiths Reviews

We commissioned garden railings from West Country Blacksmiths at Allerford, Somerset. They are delightful folk and extremely skilled. They came and measured up, took notice of what we wanted and made the most beautiful handrails and guards for us, then came and fitted them. They not only enhance the safety of our garden but look gorgeous too. All our visitors are so impressed and we are very happy indeed. Well worth the investment in top flight traditional craftsmanship as lovely to look at and use.

We bought this fire pit as a gift for my brother-in-law and he was over the moon with it! Thank you

Great service from Westcountry Blacksmiths, quality and personalisation of firepit is amazing and we look forward many years of using it.

Really friendly local blacksmiths and an amazing fire pit with stainless steel grill, it looked so good I happily sat in the rain under an umbrella for an hour just to test it out!

Seeing all the lovely designs in their Gallery I contacted this firm in early March and was promised a visit within 2 wks. Nothing. After prompting someone came and we discussed my project, a garden handrail of a design that already existed. I was assured their design team would enjoy doing it and I would be sent outline plans/design ideas. Nothing. It is now 9 weeks. When I complained I received a rambling e-mail concerning their personal problems. In my opinion they are taking on more work than they can handle which is very unfair to customers. I cannot comment on the quality of their work as I got nowhere near to having any, but if you use this firm be prepared for a Very long wait.

Excellent fire pit ! Simple strong and practical. The metal is much thicker than most fire pits which means it holds the heat longer. Plenty of room to tuck your feet under the fire to warm them late at night !

Yet again a beautiful quality product reflecting a special place for us. Fast, efficient service in processing and delivering order to our door - thanks guys!

I ordered a hearth set from West Country Blacksmiths, not very long before Christmas, and the response on line was quick and I was kept in touch with progress and indeed it was delivered in time for me to give it to my husband for Christmas. We were both delighted with the finished product and it is in daily use now.
No complaints whatsoever and delighted to have a nicely crafted set of ironware. Many thanks.

I ordered a personalised bottle opener for my husband as I knew he'd seen them and wanted one. He was very happily surprised when it arrived and it's now a treasured possession. The quality and craftsmanship is excellent. It's wonderful that this art is still alive and something we both want to support. Highly recommend this company. Thank you
