We had a wonderful trip planned by Wild Frontiers to Georgia and Armenia. Everything was handled easily, smoothly and professionally from booking to understanding what our interests were and then implementing what we wanted. The pacing was perfect. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable, personable and accessible. Our trip gave us great insight to a less traveled area and we will always have wonderful memories. There was not a single glitch.

Our guide, Jack, was the best of the best. The trip was well planned and exceeded our already high expectations of traveling to Mongolia. It was the trip of a lifetime.

I can only concur with the other reviewers regarding your wholly inefficient responses to reservations and booking enquiries. I messaged you on July 10 re the “Senegal, Gambia & The Bijagos Archipelago Of Guinea-Bissau” tour. No reply. Sent a reminder. No reply.

I decided to try a different tour and messaged you on 16 July about the Chinese Silk Road Taklamakan Adventure tour on 16 October 2026. No response. Messaged again on 17 July. Till now, no reply.

I’ve decided enough is enough with wildly disappointing frontier tours.

Wild frontiers was a misnomer as it was haunted by tourist traps .
Leadership was overbearing , controlling and at times dangerously ill informed .
Unempathetic company .

Wonderful trip with concentration on seeing as much wildlife as possible including the big 5.
Tanzania has it all and going in mid to late June was perfect as not peak season yet even the Great Migration was underway.
Wild Frontiers taking a maximum of twelve clients was ideal as we had ample room in two six person jeeps for our viewing. The accommodation in mostly fixed tents and some within the national parks meant we were sharing our space with the wildlife but always with appropriate precautions in place.
For a genuine safari experience, this was an excellent trip. My only criticism is that I felt there were too many jeeps and other vehicles when we visited the crater and this would be worse in peak season.

I've done 4 trips with Wild Frontiers and have thoroughly enjoyed everyone. Despite traveling to some quite difficult locations the tours have been well planned and manager throughout. I really enjoying visiting some fairly remote places and feeling safe and secure with the company, my last trip was to Eastern Turkey with a busy itinerary and with stunning landscapes.

We recently traveled with Wild Frontiers to Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan and I couldn’t recommend the trip highly enough! A fascinating well planned itinerary with excellent guides and information. A small group of 12 adventurous travellers and what a brilliant experience we had!

Based in the US. I just returned from Wild Frontier’s Tanzania trip through Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti. It was well organized with great support from the team in the UK as well as on the ground in Tanzania. Accommodations were comfortable, clean, and safe.
Wild Frontier’s staff are responsive and quick. I was always aware I could rely on them.

It was my first experience with Wild Frontiers and small group travel. I am converted. Wonderful tour guide, excellent driver, fascinating travelling companions. Brilliant itinerary, combination of history, outdoors, food and culture. Lovely hotels. And all way beyond my previous experiences. And we were lucky with weather!! Just great.

An excellent trip to Georgia, with an outstanding guide (Sophie - and wherever we went people knew her and other tour leaders said she was the best guide in Georgia). There were many highlights: the scenery, the sights, the food, the wine etc etc. The organisation and itinerary were great (only the last day after Vardzia did we have a bit of a long drive without much excitement). We saw a diverse landscape and tried every food going. If you want to get an overview of Georgia, this is the trip to do it. Highly recommended.

What a fantastic trip through northern Pakistan . The former northwest frontier of the British Empire has a lot to offer . Amazing scenery , wonderful people and so much history that most of us in the UK don't yet know about . Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and always helpful .As a local he was proud to show us his country and culture .
The trip was very well organised - and it had to be with roads and passes getting blocked by snow and landslides ! The drivers were exceptionally skilled , 4WD vehicles essential on tracks and paths that make our UK roads look good !
Our guide was keen to explain how the experience could be different at other times of year whether it be for the festivals of the Kalash people , the Shandur polo festival or just the wonderful autumn colours .
Yes , the accommodation was sometimes a bit basic ( but always clean ) and hot water not always available but it was the best lodgings for the area - and if you have a sense of humour - all part of the fun.
I booked on-line and found this extremely easy . Getting a visa was a bit of a faff but WF will give you all the help and documentation you need . They will also give you plenty of advice if you need it from people who have actually been there !

Wild Frontiers designed our trip to Georgia with flexibility, catering for all our individual needs. Their in-country agent was superb, with a wonderful, knowledgeable guide and an excellent driver, who managed the difficult roads with great care. Hotels were all clean and well run. Overall, given this was a bespoke tour, the value was excellent. I would highly recommend this company and would happily use them again.

Just returned home from wonderful journey across the Balkans. The itinerary offered a variety of different activities from churches to mosques, mountain treks to city walks, and train rides to boat trips. Our accommodations were lovely boutique styled hotels. The trip leader (Tedi) and fellow travelers combined to make our journey a very memorable one. I will most certainly travel with Wild Frontiers again!

We have had our best trips with Wild Frontiers, and highly recommend them. Their itinaries are often off the beaten track , with excellent local guides, good selection of hotels , mostly in town to allow us to stroll freely. We love their pace : relaxed ( no rush to get to next stop ) , ample time to visit. Quality over quantity.
Comfortable transport . We sure plan to travel again with them!

I’ve recently returned from the Turkey Eastern Borderlands trip. As with all my previous trips with WF, this one did not disappoint. Our guide, Tim, was excellent, the itinerary was well put together, and the trip companions were great. We really did get adventure on a grand scale, as promised. We certainly saw some amazing sites and sights, and were far from the main tourist spots. Most of the other tourists visiting were Turkish! What I like best about WF trips is that wysiwyg, there are no hidden costs, as all meals are provided as well as all entrance fees. All you need money for are drinks and any purchases. The small group sizes mean that you get to eat in local restaurants and stay in some great accommodation. I shall definitely be travelling with WF again. My bucket list just gets longer as I talk to other travellers in the groups ;-)

I’ve recently come back from a brilliant tour of Algeria. This is not my first trip with Wild Frontiers and I have booked with them again to go to Mongolia next year.
They have small groups. In Algeria there was only five of us. The tour leader, Rafik, was superb. The sights were brilliant, with daily ‘wow’ moments, even in 40 degree heat in the desert. I can’t praise them highly enough!
