I love this company
I love this company. They are always quick to help out if there is ever an issue. They have a great selection of meat and at a fair price. Plus, we have peace of mind in knowing the animals are well taken care of which makes for the best tasting meat.

Lowered quality of base box I signed up for
Was looking for a company that provided grass-fed meats using regenerative farming practices without using antibiotics, hormones, etc…on their animals. Ran across Wild Pastures who process meats, from various farms that use these practices. Got in on a subscription special they offered, over a year ago. Been getting recurring boxes with add-ons (my choice), every 6-8 weeks since. Have enjoyed the quality, taste, and ability to customize my box. Just got a delivery and looking to customize my next box when I noticed that my base box options are now limited to majority chicken items (to include broth now !!🤨) and little to no medium quality beef/pork cuts without a small to large upcharge. I know meat prices have risen and my “special box deal for life” went up, in price, a few months ago (was notified and accepted the rise in my box price). I was unaware, however that my base box choices would become so limited that I can now get the same they offer, at a quality organic grocery chain, at cheaper prices. Now looking for another company.

Bacon...WAY oversalted
Bacon...WAY oversalted. Hard to eat...had to choke it down. Do you guys taste this before selling it? Other than the top sirloin which is too tough and the salty bacon, I have enjoyed the other cuts of meat overall.

We receive a regular box from Wild Pastures. The quality of their meats--beef, pork, and chicken--is outstanding. We receive our box in a "cooler" box. Everything arrives frozen. They have excellent customer service and respond to messages in a timely manner.

Excellent customer service
I get meat monthly from Wild Pastures with no problems ever. It comes quickly and is always frozen. But this last order was not good. I took pictures and emailed them. Just wow. They immediately responded and remedied the situation with kindness and speed. Amazing customer service. Love this company. Thank you, Wild Pastures.

Bought over $350 worth of food
Bought over $350 worth of food. Chicken was grainy and separated into mush (RAW). I have pictures. You could see the individual fibers of the muscle from the chicken and the other half of the breasts were mush. When cooked on a grill, it was a rubber nightmare. Makes me wonder what they are doing to that chicken. Bought beef tenderloins also. The tenderloins separated into 4 different compartments which tell me they are pressing smaller portions of their food together to get a whole tenderloin. I have already cancelled my credit card so they cant continue to charge me for their horrible quality food. Note * ate the pork tenderloin and that one was ok. Their chicken and beef is inferior. They only get one star for the the ok pork. Do NOT recommend! Apparently they outsource their meat to different farmers and they are the middleman. Gonna find a direct to farmer outfit to spend my money on.

Great chicken and pork
I believe I have been a customer of Wild Pastures since 2021. My favorite combination is the pork/chicken box. I love the flexibility of being able to switch out a pork or chicken option for a beef option if I want to. Easy to adjust the timing of my deliveries to my schedule. Easy to add-on extra product if I know I'm going to need more of some type of product. In all the years I have been a customer, I have only had one issue. They sent me my order twice and both arrived on the same day. They realized it was there mistake and told me to keep it or donate the 2nd box.

I love the quality of meat I get with my Wild Pastures subscription. Yes, there have been issues - like with any subscription - but Wild Pastures is always quick to resolve the issue and make it right. I highly recommend anyone looking for quality meat at a really fair price.

We love the concept but the execution…
We love the concept but the execution needs urgent improvement. The meat is not vacuum-sealed properly. When it thaws, it leaks blood plus the meat is often freezer-burned. We tried multiple times, and each time the meat was improperly vacuum sealed. Often packages had slits/openings on the side of the meat resulting in a lot of leakage, or the packaging was significantly loose around the meat (vs tightly sealed) even though it wasnt leaking blood- air didnt fully escape, possibly due to rushing the sealing process. Both issues resulted in poor meat quality. Compared to another meat delivery company we use, the quality of the meat (likely due to mishandling) was subpar, the delivery packaging was subpar; overall, other brands have better execution. We believe in what WP is trying to do ; it's an important effort but they need to go back to the drawing board and iron out the kinks. It's disheartening to throw out animal meat. Positive notes: their customer service is good. Their recipes are delicious.

I always enjoy when my Wild Pastures…
I always enjoy when my Wild Pastures order arrives. So many tasty things to choose from. I can adjust my order frequency and selection very easily with their website. I really love supporting small American farms that are doing good work with the regenerative agriculture. The meats and fish are flash frozen so they don’t include a lot of excess water. This means you get everything that you pay for their customer service has been wonderful whenever I have a question. I highly recommend Wild Pastures.
Our household favorites include their 90%lean ground beef, pork breakfast, sausage, chicken breasts, drumsticks, and wings, pork chops, pork tenderloin roast, and so many other things, too many to mention!

I'm happy with Wild Pastures overall
I'm happy with Wild Pastures overall. I was looking for a delivery service with grass-fed and pasture raised options. I feel good eating their products and the price is fair. Some of the red meat cuts are on the tough side, with the exception of the filet mignon, so I mostly order that, the pork, chicken and ground beef products. I also like that their products are on the Cronometer app which I use. Their customer service has always been very prompt to respond and they are very friendly.

Not a good look...
I've had quit a few pieces that were not vacuum sealed properly during the 10 months, or so I've been with WildPastures, but I was reimbursed for them.
Also, I've gotten cuts of their ribeye that was literally 50% or more of the steak as fat and connective tissue. I've gotten reimbursed for that once, but there were a few times I didn't even bother reaching out because I sensed some attitude from one of them and I wasn't in the mood for drama. Most of the agents there seemed like they want to help, but not all, especially if you contact them for every faulty item you receive.
The REAL problem is that they keep on raising their prices. Once was being straight up with us and giving us a heads up prior to it, but after that, they did it sneakily by changing out and rearranging their options so that it's more expensive to have the order the same as it was prior to the change.
Not only is it more expensive to 'make it the same' as I had it before the change, I found that if I did not make some downgrades from a chicken breast to a ground beef, and one Ribeye to a Flat Iron, it would have been $30 more expensive for the same order. NOT A GOOD LOOK! If they pull this type of thing once more, I'm done with them. I'm not spending $420 per shipment to get nickle and dimed more and more every order. I was already on the fence before they pulled this nonsense, but this will be the final straw.
