Dealt with Dino in the cork store, his knowledge and customer service were always wonderful, delighted with our bathrooms

Jason helped us through out bathroom renovation, brilliant from the moment we stepped in the door. Very knowledgeable about the product and range of sizes available in each. Everything we bought was really good quality, from tiles to fixtures. Highly recommended.

After much shopping around while doing my home reno ,I found Jason in world of tiles .he was extremely helpful and his knowledge was very impressive in regards to our needs and design .Jason made the process of doing 3 bathrooms so simple with his guidance. Extremely happy with our bathrooms.

A breath of fresh air. After looking around several showrooms, it really stood out the extra ordinary customer service Mark provides at each stage of the sale. He provided us with excellent insight to help us with our selection of bathware and Tiles, not missing even the smallest of details. Great, shop and great service😁 Just recently got all my tiles in their Limerick Store and couldn't have asked for better service. The staff where amazing from start to finish and fully lived up to my expectations🤗🤗 Would highly recommend calling to their Limerick store as the have an amazing new refurbished showroom and great quality items on display.

We purchased tiles from World of Tiles in February and waited several weeks for delivery. When our tiler arrived to start the job, we discovered that the store had miscalculated the coverage—we didn’t have enough tiles to complete the bathroom. Additionally, they had not provided enough tile adhesive.

This mistake cost us valuable time and extra fuel, as we had to make two additional trips to the store to get the missing materials. While the tiles themselves are of good quality, the incorrect calculation and inconvenience made the experience frustrating. Double-checking measurements and orders should be a priority to avoid similar issues for other customers.

Do not buy from this company. I paid 1400 for tiles they said they were not in stock never got the tiles and refused to give me different tiles or a refund and won’t respond to my emails or phone calls. I literally paid 1400 for nothing.

**TL;DR: Extremely poor customer experience with significant delays. Dismissive response from senior management regarding issues, alongside accusations of dishonesty among employees.**

I recently had a disappointing experience with World of Tiles concerning a €870 order.

Initially, I ordered white tiles, which I was informed would take 3 to 4 weeks for delivery. To my dismay, they arrived nearly six weeks later.

Upon receiving the tiles, I raised concerns about their color with the manager in Sandyford. He assured me that once installed, the lighting would change their appearance and that they were indeed the correct shade. I regrettably chose to trust his professional opinion.

Unfortunately, the matte white tiles I ordered turned out to be a concrete effect. I brought a sample tile into the showroom, where the manager and I confirmed that the tile on my wall was, in fact, not what I had ordered. The manager was courteous and agreed that there was a mistake, promising to investigate the issue further.

Days turned into weeks without any updates. When I finally followed up, the manager informed me he was in contact with the tile supplier, who was supposedly investigating the matter. Both the tile and the box were marked as the correct order, but, as we discovered, the tile itself was not.

After weeks of silence, I reached out again. This time, the manager asked what remedy I was seeking. I requested either a full or partial refund, acknowledging that I could not return the tiles. Given that these were my first four tiling jobs in the house, I had already purchased additional tiles for another project.

Weeks went by without any communication. Eventually, I was contacted by senior management, who asked me to explain the situation and provide photographic evidence.

The ensuing conversation took an uncomfortable turn. When I mentioned that the manager had previously communicated with the supplier, I was told this was untrue, implying either I or the manager had misled them. Just when I thought we could reach an amicable resolution, my concerns were dismissed. They insisted the tiles were white, not grey, and disregarded the conversation I'd had with the store manager, where he acknowledged the mistake and we identified the incorrect tile together.

While I recognize there are various shades of white, the tile I received is different—grey, not white. I did not conceive the visit with my wife and the store manager as a figment of my imagination; it was a clear acknowledgment of the error.

Overall, my experience with World of Tiles has been incredibly disappointing and frustrating. Given the numerous alternatives in the tile market, I would strongly recommend using a different provider.

Be aware there is a strict 30 day return policy for unopened boxes of tiles. I tried to return 5 boxes of unopened tiles after 2 months. The shop in Limerick told me the tiles I have might not match the shade they are currently selling. I asked if he could check the shade of tiles I had bought versus the tiles they are currently selling and he refused.

In my experience other tile companies are more accommodating when it comes to returns.

I have to thank Jason in the Mullingar branch for his time and expertise. He helped me choose the correct tiles and materials for my particular bathroom. The bathroom is no longer a cold dreary room. Its a new bathroom with sleek, simple lines & shapes. Its more spacious and more functional now.

While I was setting up my new home, I was looking kitchen & bathroom tiles, I went to several showrooms until I stepped into World of Tiles in Tuners Cross Cork. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. They took the time to listen to my design ideas and helped guide me through their wide selection of tiles, offering helpful suggestions based on my style preferences and budget. What stood out the most was how patient they were during the decision-making process, which was challenging and overwhelming, but they made easy by providing detailed information about the different types of tiles, maintenance tips etc. Even after my purchase, they went above and beyond by coordinating a seamless delivery and taking back what was not opened.
I even bought the showers and shower door which are top quality brands at a good price.
My kitchen & Bathrooms looks amazing, I couldn't be happier.
