Created an account. Circumstances changed so didn't need the account. Emailed to ask that account be deleted. Within less than a hour, received a response that account had been deleted. Impressive service. 5 stars.
Spent £20 to find information about a respondant, but no other information was available. Despite listing previous address history as one of the advantages, none were visible, and most of the information isnt available about people in Scotland. Utterly useless.

Their customer support service is quick and extremely resourceful. I had some issues downloading a couple of reports, as they were too large to download or to be sent via email. I reached out to them and they were ready to help me coming up with a solution in a matter of minutes. Thank you!
I went to Tres Belle Jewellers in Royston High Street for a watch repair. It was such amazing service! I was kept informed throughout. The price was great and they did a super job on my watch repair. The item had such sentimental value to me and they totally understood what I needed and why. They were so polite. I would not go anywhere else now. This will be my go to jeweller from now on. Thank you for a great service. I would highly recommend.

I had an account and ran some searches. Saw someone who looked like the person I wanted, so paid for some credits. The good news is a got the details I wanted.
What wasn't clear was that EVERY ACTION you undertake when you have credits costs you credits. Even a search will cost you! Do not click anywhere without expecting a charge.
So, my advice is this... Have two accounts, one with credits and one without. Do your searching on the one without credits, and only switch to the one with credits when you know exactly who's results you want to pay for.
Honestly, I couldn't believe the business model here. It's bonkers! The only other positive thing I have to say is that the Customer Services telephone line was answered swiftly by someone who was relatively receptive, and I did get a small credit refund (not all of the credits I'd lost, but some).
Not clear at all when purchasing credits that they only have a very limited life, just a month in some cases. Also not clear that VAT is charged on top. Minimum purchase of 6 credits makes it a *very* expensive way of confirming an address. They have very reluctantly issued a refund for expired credits but because I paid using PayPal I have been charged a fee to get the refund. Very poor business practice. AVOID unless you enjoy throwing money away. Judging by the number of other 1* reviews I’m not the only one who is disappointed by this “service”

I had not taken onboard that credits expired after 6 months. I contacted the helpdesk and they kindly extended the term by 3 months. So i will pay attention in future.
on 192.com it says i have 20 free searches if i enter name, adress and sign up which i have done for all three but it still wants me to buy credits.

I had a query about my account and contacted the company; I received a very prompt and polite reply from Laura in Customer Services who explained the situation even though it was out of normal business hours.
I will definitely use the company again.

I paid for the background report £20, It turns out that's not the correct person, I emailed them and they refused to refund me? they basically stole £20 from me for getting no info, I want a refund or I'll charge back from the bank.

Gives the impression of having plenty information about an individual but after payment, I discover they have nothing. Also I seem to have been charged twice. UPDATE

I had an issue on my account, emailed customer services, heard back from them within 5 minutes with the issue sorted!
The 192 service has useful and up-to-date information which otherwise would be difficult to access. Customer service is outstanding!
This is the biggest load of crap around!! They give an individuals name, make it look as if they have loads of info, but their database is all garbage!! I bought the background verification and literally came back with no results on everything!!!!
UPDATE: They responded saying that the money has been refunded...THAT'S A LIE!!! Their response was 2 days ago and they said as you cannot comment of the responses left on Trustpilot!
