I thought the email you sent me was from the IRS and after I sent you $209, I looked at the bottom of page an it said, we are not affiliated with any government agency. I feel scammed, I want my money refunded, It's been 4days of checking the mail and paperwork has been received.

They are a legitimate company, not a scam BUT ALOT of reviews say customer service is very slow. I accidentally purchased tax preparation from them, thought I owed federal but it was state, a different beast, I emailed them and got an email back in 2 hrs stating they will give me a full refund that will be in 6 to 7 days. They're not scammers or conmen, they're just slow.

You guys are scamming people!

They charge you 100+ to prepare your paperwork. But they don't guarantee you that the State or IRS will receive your paperwork in a timely manner. They wipe their hands clean and it becomes your problem.

I’ve been using this company for years. My name is Najah Moeser. I remember I was hesitant to use them because of some reviews but I have made multiple payment plans with them because I’m a self employed Musician always owe taxes. They always set up my plan perfectly so just wanted to leave this review for anyone hesitant to use them. You just pay the fee & let them know your amount & they send you mail. You have to send some mail & then your payment plan is in effect. The directions are very clear. Xo

I mistakenly thought I was dealing directly with the IRS to inquire about a payment plan. Part way through providing my info I realized you are not affiliated with the IRS and logged out of your site.
I have continued to receive emails from your Company asking me to complete a request. I replied to your 3 emails that I was not interested in your services and asked you to cease and desist from emailing me and implying that I have a formal request with your Company. I will work directly with the IRS if needed.

I used this company to help me get a payment plan I paid 129$ for these services it was December 12,2023 I paid for this service I did receive the paper to send to IRS haven't heard anything back from them don't know if I have a plan or not. I'm afraid to file my taxes don't know who would receive it

They advertise "fast" service. I placed an order on a Friday, expecting my package to be delivered Monday or Tuesday. It's now Thursday and USPS tracking is totally useless! I canceled the order and informed my credit card company that the charge may be fraud - so they closed the account and are issuing me a new card.

Hi, I finished the form work paid what was asked in May 23rd,2023. 97 Tax said to wait until they send me a payment plan.I am still waiting for that form to be sent.

97 Tax uses deceptive advertising. It is no longer charging just $97!
There should be an obvious disclaimer that they are not associated with the IRS and are an independent company that offers to help you file a payment plan request form with the IRS.
I thought that 97Tax was the company the IRS was now using to file their application. It is not! The IRS still offers the application for free!

97Tax did respond to us and gave us a refund. I explained that they need to make their instruction and confirmation emails a little clearer. We ended up just paying the bill outright.

Spoke to IRS within minutes of completing this, they cancelled the application, was still charged the $97.00. This is a scam, DO NOT USE.

Paid my $97 four days ago tried calling the office 15 times no answer. Sent two emails still no response

I got a call today, Sept 1st, from their agent who explained everything and was extremely helpful. He helped me get everything straightened out which I'm so grateful for. Obviously due to the COVID they are swamped as is the IRS.

I contacted them on July 6, 2020 and paid them but have heard nothing as of September 1st and now have a letter from IRS stating my total payment is due September 7th. I've sent emails to support and I've called only to find i can just leave a message which I left more than once along with my phone # and STILL NO RESPONSE. I'm in a bind due to Covid. As I was planning on the payments they provided. I would have given 0 stars but no option.

Really simple process, read the FAQ to know about the process. Stayed in touch with me throughout the process by email. Got positive letter direclty from IRS about 60 days later. Thanks team 97tax

Friend of mine recommended 97tax... I was a few years behind on taxes but I followed their instructions and it worked out for a payment plan. Way easier than calling the IRS, good people.

This company is great. I stressed for 2 years not knowing what to do about my taxes until a friend told me about them. I went online and had a payment plan completed within one business day, as promised. I have and will continue to recommend them. Wonderful people.
