It was a rocky start from the beginning. Very disorganized and recommending interns that didn’t really fit the requirements. The mobile app was very buggy, making it nearly unusable. Even the webapp chat was subpar. There was also an option to select which countries/regions that interns would be filtered by and a “$200 credit” was offered if interns from outside those areas was matched.

This, I later found out like many of their promises, was a lie. Besides nearly 30 interns starting and quitting the next day (therefor not properly vetted) they also decided to discontinue the account credit and not pay out any past credits earned.

I'm blessed to be an apprentice with Acadium for the last 3 months.
I got full support and their staff is very professional and keen.
They were always there to respond to and resolve my inquiries. With the Acadium apprenticeship, I never felt overwhelmed.

I did an apprenticeship with Acadium as I was going through a career transition. Although I loved the experience I felt I needed more guidance when it came to finding a full-time job in digital marketing. I came across the Acadium Plus program and was compelled by the amount of value and mentorship it offered! It has been the most beneficial and rewarding experience throughout my journey and I think the best part of it was having a 1:1 coach (Erik) who is an expert in the field to guide me through the process of building relevant skills, how to approach employers, how to conduct enticing emails, how to properly network and how to overall build my personal brand. So grateful to be a part of such an amazing community of marketers! My network has expanded tremendously and I cannot wait to see what the future holds. Acadium Plus is hands down the digital marketing program ever for those looking to get into the industry.

I wanted to break into the digital marketing space. I had taken several courses online during COVID and was looking to put my newly-acquired skills into practice. That's when I came across Acadium. It was just what I needed to move to the next level!

I am currently on my third apprenticeship. Acadium has given me access to people I wouldn't have otherwise met - let alone had as mentors. Their apprenticeships have given me hands-on work experience, content to build my portfolio, and the confidence to sell my newly acquired skills.

Also, it's significantly reduced the imposter syndrome that comes with transitioning. I HIGHLY recommend Acadium! Forever grateful for this opportunity.

P.S: I have always been really impressed by how quickly they matched me with a mentor - for all of my apprenticeships.

I completed my first mentorship with Acadium and I could not be happier. I learned so much about digital marketing and it was an amazing experience. The courses were relevant, informative and useful. I also had the option for hands on experience completing a variety of tasks.
My second mentor has a wealth of knowledge and I am excited to learn even more from her. I would recommend this program to anyone interested in learning more about digital marketing.

Acadium helped me to work with extraordinary people and to learn essential things for my job. The apprenticeship has a relaxed schedule and I recommend this for those who have a job and maybe want to become freelancers or change their field of work because they can be flexible with their time.
They also have mini-courses on the platform, all of them are for the beginner level. When you have completed a course, it will be added to your profile and the mentors can see them, which is a good thing, especially if it is your first time on the platform.

After completing the apprenticeship, you have a real project that you can add to your portfolio and also a certification. I got my first real job thanks to the experience in Acadium. So they are very helpful.

For Freelancig, I'm still waiting to try the platform.

One more thing. If you have any doubts or need help, you can always ask your questions to your advisor.

Edit: The reply to my review represents the shady nature of the company. They do not address any of the legal ramifications of their platform while toting a program that has never proven effective, misdirecting away from the fact that they don’t compensate the people on the platform in any way beyond smoke and mirrors.

After reading more reviews of this app, I can see that they charge businesses even more than I originally realized and often change their programs, as well as provide shoddy customer service when they mess up.

So which is it, Acadium? Interns or apprentices? Apprentices should be paid and interns should be getting more value than the mentor.

Federal Regulations on Working Hours
“Apprentices must receive at least the minimum wage specified by the Fair Labor Standards Act for hours they spend working”

Only during training periods are employers in the US permitted to pay less than minimum wage to apprentices. This is the difference between most internships and an internship. Businesses on this app are most often based in the US or places with similar laws, meaning they are taking advantage of people that often already have experience and an education while opening themselves up to lawsuits from apprentices that catch wind of it.

I’ve been a part of this app for at least a year and a half. They used to make it so that apprenticeships on their site had the options to be paid (though heavily discouraged and every business rejected you). They recently changed this and force you to re-apply as an apprentice and make you agree to working unpaid if you want to use their app to connect with businesses.

There are even ‘micro tasks’ apprentices can do to get noticed doing free labor for very specific work.

Everyone deserves to be paid, even if it is low, for work that they do. I don’t care if people are willing to work for free, it’s they still deserve to be paid. And businesses HUNDREDS on this app. They’re already paying, and this app is for profit, benefiting from the free labor of people in desperate situations. And this isn’t even an internship - directly violating the law and encouraging businesses to do so is not a good look.

Maybe the app is based overseas, maybe they’re free from liability. But the businesses and those behind them are not.

I haven't yet submitted an application to be an apprentice because I'm new to Acadium and don't currently match the requirements. Even if you are a complete beginner in the field, I would like to point out that Acadium's free courses are really helpful for learning about digital marketing. Numerous essential courses are available from them. And right now, I'm taking their free courses. Acadium, thank you

I joined Acadium to get hands-on experience to start my marketing agency. Acadium has been very beneficial to my career progression. I worked with some fantastic mentors who helped hone my digital marketing skills. Acadium vets mentors and apprentices to ensure everyone can fulfill their roles in the organization. Acadium's courses are relevant to today's best practices and offer skills in all aspects of digital marketing and soft skills. I can tell that they are passionate about helping me achieve my goals. I am also a member of Acadium Plus, their exclusive group aimed to ensure I am job ready. With this group, I have access to more in-depth courses, group coaching, and one-on-one mentoring with Erik, an expert in digital marketing. He provides me with specific feedback and actionable steps to keep moving toward my goal of building an agency. Whenever I have a question, I receive a prompt and polite response. I have yet to interact with anyone at Acadium that was anything less than exceptional. I recently applied to the freelancing platform, and since I've had such a great experience, I'm sure it will be great.

Working with Acadium has exceeded my expectations. My marketing apprentice and I are a perfect match; We are working and collaborating very well together. It's a strong professional relationship that is creating results. I would not be accomplishing my marketing goals without her. I would absolutely recommend Acadium to anyone who is seeking a marketing partner without a long-term commitment.

I love the Acadium apprenticeship strategy. i.e. been paired with mentors/businesses to practically apply industry skills and learn even more with the courses provided on the dashboard is exceptional to me.

Very good company. I am a apprentice there and enjoy it a lot. It gives you opportunity to get experience and learn while working.

I have a background in traditional marketing but needed to up-skill in the area of Digital Marketing and gain hands-on experience, to remain relevant. That's when I stumbled on this goldmine, Acadium!

It happened to be just what I needed because of all the free courses I've been privileged to leverage while I wait to be matched with a mentor.

I've also had cause to interact with staff who have been very professional and helpful.

I would most definitely recommend Acadium to anyone.

It's really the worst website that they will make you wait for so long and give you many promises then don't give you anything even teach you how to be good in its field, they will always ask you just to give them 5 stars to accept you then don't give you any chance at all.

Acadium is the best platform if you want to learn digital marketing and build your portfolio. I've done 2 apprenticeships from acadium and the experience was great. You can get hands-on experience and I think no other platform offers that.

This platform is one of a kind, I am about to complete my first apprenticeship and I have discovered so much potential about myself to a large extent all thanks to my mentor and acadium for the connection.
This platform is very reliable and I could recommend it to any digital marketing aspirant, acadium is an additional experience to boost one's morale in this competitive world.
