We are pleased with the four Apprentices with whom we matched. Our Digital Marketing and Social Media program was greatly improved thanks to the help we received from our Acadium Apprentices.

I have been working with Acadium since April 2024. It has been difficult, to say the least, to find quality apprentices. It took me until I was well into the summer before I found one who could meet the interview requirements, and provide two seemingly legitimate references, and work samples. Now that I am working with an Apprentice this person does NOT communicate in a timely fashion and keeps piecemealing me the deliverables. I keep expressing that this is a critical time for my company and I have no time to play around but I am experiencing more stress and delays than if I went ahead and did it on my own, but I am also trying to build my business and make money. I have asked for a refund, even partial at this point, and they will NOT budge despite how painfully difficult it has been to work with their online platform, apprentices who they do not vet well, and the poor quality of work that is being done on the part of the one apprentice that I finally got to meet the minimum requirements. They keep sending me weekly check-ins about how the apprenticeship is going the only good one so far was the first week, yeah basically orientation. DO NOT invest in this company, they will have you running around chasing your tail. It is not worth it.

Terrible experience, would stay away at all costs. They are con artists. Should never have wasted our money with them.

We signed up for Acadium's services under the impression of a two-week free trial period with a full refund if unsatisfied. This information was conveyed to us during the signup process. We opted for the service to search for a qualified freelancer for a marketing project.

Upon contacting Acadium to express dissatisfaction with the initial pool of freelancer candidates, we were informed that the free trial offer was rendered void because they provided us with applicants. These applicants, however, lacked relevant experience for the project as advertised. By Acadium's own admission, the candidates were not a good fit.

We believe this practice is misleading and deceptive. The advertised free trial with a full refund seems contingent on a genuine attempt to connect us with suitable candidates. Providing irrelevant applicants solely to negate the refund policy appears disingenuous.

I wasted 2 months interviewing very junior candidates who were lazy and knew nothing about marketing. I trained one for 3-4 weeks, but it was a complete waste of time as she started skipping meeting and taking days to reply to my emails. When I asked for just a 50% refund when I was trying to be fair, they said I wasn't eligible because it was against their policy.

Fun fact:
when I tried to book a meeting with them, they made me wait 2 months because they didn't have a sales person to take the calls. No wonder no one wants to work for them.

Ridiculous Refund Policy. They give you 4 hours to ask for a refund as no refunds are allowed after a "match" is made. It is considered a "match" when they send you a random person who you have not vetted and typically doesn't work out. Support team has ignored my emails after the first couple-- been 6 weeks, still fighting for my refund. I told them I'd write bad reviews, so it is: Stay away from Acadium scam if you want the chance to see your money again if a match doesn't work out. You have been warned. I'd put zero stars if I could.

UPDATE: JULY 16, 2024:
After one final attempt to receive a refund, Acadium suggested (as if routinely) to take up the dispute with my credit card company. After ignoring me for so long, it is my belief they only responded because of my poor review of them. I'm tripling down on my message: do not give your money to this company. They provide no value service, they don't care about their customer concerns, and their refund policy is rigged so that they never have to issue a refund. Take your business elsewhere and let my experience be a warning to you.

Poor deliverables and misrepresentation

First, they seem to get their interns to believe they are offering businesses a free service, as both of our interns were clueless that we were paying--and they behaved accordingly (aka they did nothing much). Then when the first one failed, they gave us a second one and put our program on hold. But then they charged us money anyway without alerting us to how they were taking off the hold. They owe us a full refund for nonperformance and for misrepresentation of their billing practices, but have been giving us the stiff-arm. Not recommended!

Early review of Acadium. I was contacted this morning by Ann Wilson of Acadium who reached out with an offer of Marketing Interns for my Business. I scheduled a meeting with Ryan to learn more. Their offering is a cost effective way to hire an intern specialising in Marketing and for me specifically social media marketing. Their program sounded great and I agreed to sign up. The onboarding was smooth and problem free, I created a profile of what I was specifically looking for and a little about me and my business. Update - Ive now been matched with my intern - this process took 24 hours. I was sent my interns profile and CV which exceeded my expectations. I then interviewed the candidate. she was amazing! i decided to hire her and Acadium had already prepared a suitable contract for myself and the candidate to sign - she starts on Thursday this week...

My experience with Acadium has been excellent for starting my career in marketing. The service they provide is tailored perfectly for beginners, and I have learned an incredible amount. The mentor I worked with was incredibly helpful and insightful, offering great guidance for my career path in marketing.

I was a recent graduate of Digital Marketing from U of T and lacked experience in professional settings. I learned a lot through the apprenticeship experience from Acadium. My mentor Zed was an amazing coach. I gained the skill set to help me apply for a full-time job and polished my professional and interpersonal skills to a level that I feel comfortable enough to go through a job interview with confidence. the Acadium team members were amazingly supportive throughout my apprenticeship experience. My time with Acadium has been fantastic. The platform offers an impressive array of resources and is incredibly well-organized. Throughout my apprenticeship, I felt supported yet given the freedom to learn independently.

I successfully completed my apprenticeship, and if I were to offer advice, I'd suggest clarifying goals with your mentor beforehand. Overall, I highly recommend Acadium for anyone looking for a structured and supportive start to their career journey.

Business. Would not recommmend. Interns were not of quality our company was searching for. Inquired about an amicable pro-rated refund which company was unwilling to entertain. They talk about refunds for "unique circumstances" and "internal refund policy".

I have completed an apprenticeship program with the Acadium successfully. The good thing about this program is that they are going to find you an experienced mentor to match with you in 3 days and you will have an interview with that mentor and then if everything goes well they teach you what ever you want to learn in any specific area and you can upgrade your skills and learn about the industry that you try to get into. And by the end you will receive a certificate of completion which is very good and you can add it to your resume.

I am just blessed to have had the chance to be an apprentice through Acadium. This journey has completely changed my situation, as I completed the apprenticeship with PokitPal. Currently, I am working for that company as a Marketing Associate. You can imagine how great my experience with PokitPal was. Throughout my apprentice journey, Acadium's support team was always there for me. Acadium is the best place to start your journey if you are in Digital Marketing. Again, thank you so much to the entire Acadium team for helping me in this way.

Acadium is truly looking out for their trainees. They keep checking in with you to make sure everything is going as it should. Apart from the mentor you work with during your traineeship, you get a personal advisor. This way, you don't feel like you are on your own should anything go wrong. You get the feeling that you are a part of a team.
An amazing team, that is.
They vet the trainees, as well as the mentors, making sure that people who join have a genuine motivation to be a part of it.
As of the mentors and traineeships, I can only say great things. I had one traineeship so far and it was an incredibly enriching experience.
What everyone says in the reviews is true: you get out of the traineeship what you put into it. If you are motivated and willing to put in time and effort, you will have an extremely rewarding experience.
If you wonder whether you should or shouldn't join Acadium, I can warmly recommend that you do.
For me, it was a true revelation in 2023 and the best decision I made was to join.
