My experience has been nothing short of amazing. I had an easy interview and onboarding with my mentor. She is so lovely to work with and always provides constructive feedback when necessary.

I had a very positive experience with both the account team at Acadium and my marketing apprentice and would without a doubt work with Acadium again. The account team helped accommodate a couple of early requests I had in the process to find the right apprentice, it was smooth and quick and they were very responsive and friendly. The apprentice I worked with was motivated, committed, interested, and communicated very well - I'm sure part of that is down to the person but from my experience everything went real well! It added value to my business, allowed me to continue mentoring junior team members, and seemed to be an all-around win.

Excellent way to start a career in digital marketing. I completed 3 internships and was able to pick the area that I am I retested in most, all while getting hands on experience in different settings. Very grateful to Acadium for their service!

Acadium has been a wonderful opportunity for me to mentor young interns while receiving quality work and ideas from a younger generation. So far, both of my interns have completed their tasks in honorable fashion...very proud of them both!

I joined Acadium three months ago. I have had three separate interns during that time. The first had no idea what they were doing. The next two quit unexpectedly in the second week after I had done all the front-end onboarding work (I did it with each intern, probably 20hours of my time total). None of them were able to perform even basic social media marketing, even after several hours of one-on-one mentoring. In the end, Acadium has my money (no refund policy) and I spent too many hours with clearly unqualified interns and absolutely zero help with my business. I don't know where they find the interns, but clearly they are not very discerning. I will also say their sales team is high pressure, the kind where I'll talk to my manager price but you have to sign up today - I can't believe I fell for it. Could not recommend them less.

My overall mentorship went well and Acadium did a fantastic job on trying to keep up with the mentorship and learn of our status, ensuring they can assist us. I ended up working with my mentor as I was offered a part-time remote position which is great for me as busy college student. Highly recommend Acadium for aspiring digital marketers looking to break into the industry. The Acadium site and app is also very easy to navigate.

Loved my mentor that acadium helped me find. The platform constantly checked in about my progress every two-three weeks. Any concerns and queries were immediately addressed. I would definitely recommend it to everyone else and would benefit from their apprenticeship program again in the future.

Acadium matched me up with a great mentor. I admit, I was lucky to have hit it with Tammy (GoToYellow) right away when we first met. Tammy listened to my needs, and gave me the tools and access to help develop my skills while helping her business. Overtime, we became close and I often look forward to our chats. We both have busy schedules so it was hard to meet at times, but we made it work. My apprenticeship actually extended beyond the 3 month contract and I still work with her today because she is so lovely and we are accommodating to each other's needs and schedule. Thanks Acadium for bringing us together!

I am someone who is changing careers and searching for ways to start a career in digital marketing. One of my LinkedIn connections recommended Acadium to me, and I have found it to be a fantastic opportunity for beginners to gain practical experience and understanding. I highly recommend Acadium to anyone looking to start their journey in the field of digital marketing.

We have been a non-stop subscriber since the company was called GenM many years ago. We had a couple of successful internships along with several more that were definitely more hassle than they were worth. The only predictable aspect was Acadium’s increasingly predatory business practices. Nowadays they will lock you in, steal credits you have already paid for if you cancel sub, and will change pricing structures at their whim.

The final straw for us was a price increase from $147 to $499/quarter which we were not aware of and did not consent to. Within days of being charged we reached out to support and requested a refund (we had not used the service in over two years). The answer was a dismissive ‘no chance’ using a few more words.

Avoid this company - they do not respect you and will screw you over sooner or later.

I got a mentor and she taught all she knew which was what I was looking for. Acadium also provided an apprentice advisor. So if I had any other questions about the apprenticeship, that wasn't specifically for my mentor, my apprentice advisor was there to assist me via email.

I had an alright experience with their internship program, although it required a lot of effort on our part to manage everything. Overall, the experience was just okay. Unfortunately, as the internship was nearing its end, I was unexpectedly charged for a new internship that I never requested. I promptly reached out to them to cancel and request a refund because I hadn't received any notification about the renewal. However, they refused to refund my payment, claiming that their system had sent a notification.

To my surprise, I later found the notification buried in my spam folder, and it came with a Google warning that said, "This message seems dangerous. Similar messages were used to steal people's personal information. Avoid clicking links, downloading attachments, or replying with personal information." I pointed this out to their "Subscription Success Manager," but all I received in return was a snarky comment thanking me for confirming that I had received the email.

If you're a startup with tight budgets, I highly recommend exploring alternative services. I now find myself stuck with a $556 USD bill for a service I don't want, and they refuse to provide a refund. This situation is completely unacceptable. Their customer service is terrible and borders on being scammy.

They were easy to work with and helped me to find a very qualified marketing apprentice. I was most impressed with my apprentice. She didn't always have all of the answers but she was willing to learn.

Acadium provided me with a mentor who not only helped me apply digital marketing skills but also helped me add tangible results for my portfolio to show to future hiring managers and clients as a freelancer. 5/5 would recommend as a way to get your foot in the door!

I had a great experience during my apprenticeship via Acadium. I was looking to gain some more experience in social media marketing and found the platform via word of mouth.

After looking at the opportunities available, I applied for a digital marketing internship with a dog friendly listings platform (the dream!) and managed to secure the spot after an interview with my mentor.

I had a little experience in social media marketing before applying, but this opportunity allowed me to get some real hands on experience with an exciting startup. My mentor was incredible and I could tell she was really clued up on managing apprentices via the platform. I was provided with a comprehensive info pack, guidance and training and even given access to a full social media course which I could do in my own time. My role included managing their social channels, creating content with user generated images and videos, coming up with content ideas, writing affiliate blog posts and also assisting with their Facebook group.

It was a great experience and after my apprenticeship was over, my mentor hired me back on a freelance basis! Since my apprenticeship, I've gone into virtual assistant work and then ultimately landed up in web development. Without it, I may not be where I am today career wise so truly a five star experience!

For any apprentices looking for opportunities, I would definitely check with your mentor what sort of training and guidance they will provide, and how they will support you during your apprenticeship before committing to someone. There are lots of opportunities out there, and the best ones will be those that treat the apprenticeship as a training programme, and not just free labour.

The Acadium platform itself was also really good, super user friendly and love that you get a certificate at the end of your programme. Really helpful for those who are trying to break into the digital industry!

It's been a while since I've been an Acadium apprentice, but the experience I had inside the platform was wonderful! I met and worked with amazing mentors, who also has been my connections after my apprenticeship, and some, I even worked with as a VA after my apprenticeship.

The platform is very easy to use and the coordinators are very friendly and accommodating.

Acadium's program offers accountability, transparency and alignment between its participating apprentices and the companies they serve through weekly check-ins (featuring scores in four categories + two brief written reviews). Additionally, apprentices are also encouraged to provide private notes about their contact person/mentor at the sponsoring organization. Overall, this process ensures and engagement in a space made safe by several checks and balances--where participants don't get abused, or have their ' talents and time wasted, and it's less than likely that companies are taken for granted. This set of circumstances creates a win/win situation for all involved.
