I had a great experience with how Acadium matched me severally with a mentor/business for a digital marketing apprenticeship.
However, what you claim to be an apprenticeship program was supposed to be a place of learning not a place where those who claim to be your mentors do not teach you a digital skill but resort to giving you some tasks that are meant for experts without even showing you how to go about it.
In the end, your mentor will tell you that he/she needs a more experienced person to do those daunting tasks free of charge.

I would definitely recommend Acadium. The application was useful to find first experiences in the marketing area

It looks like they are not interested in many apprentices because I think they are not getting many businesses to give apprenticeships.

They require the slightest experience/knowledge in digital marketing for apprentices to get approved. I have 2+ years of knowledge and virtual experience programs with Redbull and Lululemon.
They didn't reply in time occasionally also they wasted almost two weeks. I was in the interview phase but was taken a step back and rejected.

We were connected with an apprentice who we interviewed and who was unsatisfactory. We requested a refund, which was denied. Acadium took the position that because they had introduced us to one person, their side of the agreement had been fulfilled. We've had to file a dispute with our credit card company.

We used Acadium to try and find an apprentice for our startup. At first I was optimistic but had my reservations. My reservations turned out to be warranted.

Pros:
I will say that the customer service is generally quick to respond. They also give you some feedback and have a system in place to try to keep the matches "working well." I'll also say that I think they are CLOSE to having a rewarding and winning solution. There are just too many negative aspects to warrant paying for this service IMO.

CONS:
To start, the level of talent on the platform is very hit or miss. I understand that the objective of this platform is to give apprentices an opportunity to learn, real world experience, resume building, job opportunity etc. But it leads to a lot of candidates who don't really have a very strong motivation to actually do the work. It sounds good in practice but is very difficult in our experience to pair with someone who is actually going to do much.

Another gripe of mine is that you can only ever see or get paired with one apprentice at a time. It makes the process very difficult to see who is actively looking and what the prospect pool looks like. To me, I think they should switch the process around. They should have companies reaching out and recruiting the candidates to see if THEY are interested. Only if you are paired with candidate are you billed. Instead, the clock starts on billing and you have to go through the painstaking process of reviewing induvial CVs, and it could take days or weeks to pair with 1.

Thirdly, something that is really not apparent and very hard to understand, you are paying for a subscription quarterly in order to access an apprentice. They make it seem like its a one time fee in exchange for 90 days of apprentice. It's NOT. That fee will be billed every quarter regardless of how long you actually have an apprentice. I will accept some blame for not fully understanding this before signing up. That being said, they really need to make this more clear to avoid customer dissatisfaction. I would pay $459 for 90 days of an apprenticeship. I would not pay for $459 for 3 months of trying to make a half ass apprenticeship work, stopping, onboarding another, stopping... etc.

If you are looking for an intern or apprentice, I recommend you look elsewhere. The candidate pool is limited and the membership fees pile up regardless of work done. You are likely going to be better of recruiting from schools.

As a decade-plus solopreneur, I have trouble trusting others to help me run my business. Delegation is way more than tasking people with stuff, and relinquishing control isn’t easy. Fortunately, Acadium is a great segway into getting used to hiring extra hands, and it’s giving me the experience I need to eventually upgrade to outsourcing a freelancer or team, which I can also do through Acadium.

A friend of mine suggested Acadium to me few months back. Earlier I was hesitant to check the website but I should have enrolled on the website much earlier. The contents are easy to understand and their apprentice program really helps you in narrowing down on the niche in the long run.

My experience at Acadium was great! I now currently work part-time via my first Acadium apprenticeship. However, my mentor plans to slowly transition me to a full-time job. Thanks a ton, Acadium! Will Highly recommend it to all digital marketers out there.

Acadium was great for me getting my foot in the door. They provide a wide variety of educational classes, allowing me to explore what career path would be best for me. Acadium pairs you up with a mentor that best fits your interests and career goals. I had a wonderful experience with my mentor and was put in an industry I loved learning about and loved working with all in the comfort of my own home. Before Acaidum I could not find a job after college. My lack of work experience in my field was weighing me down. However, with Acadium I was hired directly after my mentorship for freelance work and soon after found myself working full-time as a web developer. Acadium may be focused on digital marketing but the experience you get here really sets you up to go many different directions you may not have thought was possible.

Acadium is a convenient platform bridging between mentors and apprentices. It also has some self-learn courses for gaining digital marketing knowledge.

For people who are trying to switch careers (like me) or students who want to pursue a career in digital marketing, Acadium is the best platform to go. They found me a mentor and I started an apprenticeship within the first week of joining Acadium, and a second one ater that. If you have some experience/skills you can also work as a freelancer for different companies/people who are part of Acadium. Acadium also offers a premium (paid) version, where you get intensive one-on-one training by experts and they guarantee you a job. I haven't tried this paid feature yet, but based on my experience so for I believe it's the money.

Writing this review is long overdue. It's taken me some time to write this because the marketing job I landed with the help of Acaidum, has been busy but has also been the best thing that has happened to me.

Within 3 months, I was able to shift from an administrative role and career into an email marketing position, that was clearly aligned with my goals to be remote and flexible.

The best thing about my Acadium Plus experience was and always will be the incredible amount of support you get from 1:1 mentorship with teachers like Erik and the Acadium community. I would not have been able to see the results I have, without them, and definitely would not be in the job I love so much today.

For anyone considering joining Acadium Plus, my advice would be to make the investment in yourself. You'll definitely end up better off than where you started, learning valuable marketing and job searching skills and meaningful connections along the way.

Honestly, Acadium WAS perfect. Before they changed over to matching mentors for us mentees, it was great! We had the option of browsing and searching and selecting who we think would be a great match for us. Honestly, I went through 4. The first apprenticeship was highly successful and I now work part-time for them. My second had to be cut short due to personal reasons; and my third ended early. But I still received amazing learning opportunities with them, and have nothing but great things to say about them and their businesses. The 4th apprenticeship was very successful as well, and I now work part-time for this business as well.

I now work full-time, 40 hours a week, remote at home and doing what I LOVE! I never thought the day would come. I am constantly learning in my jobs, from CRM, social media strategies, to SEO writing and auditing. I even discovered that I love the research side of SEO things versus the writing.

The new matching strategy, unfortunately, I am not a fan of. My account was deactivated after I did not reach out to a "match." The match was nowhere near what I wanted, and 24 hours is too short of a time frame to respond.

I hope Acadium goes back to the way they originally did things. I recommended Acadium to many friends and want them to have the same wonderful experiences I had.

I found out about Acadium in April 2022 on some random TikTok video, I applied and got matched up with my mentor fairly quickly. I gained a lot of experience in my apprenticeship and learned a lot about Digital Marketing. Today, nearly one year after applying for Acadium, I am a media buyer and I'm working for the same agency that mentored me during my first apprenticeship. So if you're having second doubts, just know that you don't lose anything by trying out Acadium, it's free and you get to experience working with real marketing agencies and real clients. I'd recommend Acadium to anyone who wants to pursue a career in Digital Marketing.

A friend introduced Acadium to me after explaining what I stood to gain. At first, I applied for an Apprenticeship and could not get any mentor to take me on. I was almost giving up when a month later, I started getting many invitations to Interview with mentors. I completed 3 Apprenticeships, and Acadium is one of the most incredible things that happened to me in 2022.

I am currently taking Acadium's 'Social Media Course' so I can further harness my Content Marketing potential and become a Social Media Manager before the end of this year (2023).

I recommend anyone looking for an Internship to make good use of Acadium. Though free, you can land your dream job in no time. Thanks for the opportunity Acadium.

A friend suggested Acadium to me when I was looking for internship opportunity. I successfully completed my first apprenticeship last year October. It was a great experience and it's surprising that such opportunity is free! Acadium is doing a great job.

In terms of improvement, the automatic matching process is not accurate, Earlier in January, I got an email that my profile was deactivated because I didn't accept an invitation to apprenticeship, I am sure I never received any email or notification regarding a match. I will love to complete more apprenticeships on Acadium but this automatic matching system is not working and I'll be happy if Acadium looks into it and provide a fluid or better ways to match mentors and apprentices.

I do prefer the previous system where apprentices can apply for a suitable apprenticeship opportunity from a list of available ones.

I have successfully completed 2 apprenticeships on Acadium, and the one word to define both is GREAT!
I am still baffled that such great opportunity is free and I want to tell anyone looking forward to join this platform to do so and expect great things in return.

I completed my first apprenticeship on Acadium late last year while trying to put my copywriting training to good use. It was three months of self-discovery, feeling insecure and a lot of finger crossing. Fortunately, I had a really thoughtful mentor and they made my training easier. Not sure if it was luck or something else, but my mentor also happened to be my dream client, so we kind of got into a freelance relationship after my apprenticeship program and now I'm learning so much more!
