I went to Duncan for psoas/ myofascial release. My own case complicated by the fact of arthritic injury in the hip. This Duncan was always sensitive to and adapted his treatment process accordingly.

I would leave each session feeling as though something had really shifted, that old energies had lifted, and I was thereby lighter as though windows had been opened allowing a through-breeze.

Duncan paid very close attention to what I reported of my specific experience and provided me with a bespoke exercise plan that I have also found very helpful in the healing process.

Duncan is extremely knowledgeable in anatomy as well as in all relevant related fields and one felt as though one was in very good and capable hands at all times. He is also highly empathic, at all times very present and attentive. One has the feeling that for Duncan this kind of work is a vocation and a calling. I would say he is a natural healer.

Great experience. I was skeptical about acupuncture at first, but after a couple sessions I could already feel the difference and Ducan was able to get me off a really bad pain crisis.

Duncan is one of the best therapists I’ve seen - and unfortunately I’ve seen lots to deal with ongoing musculoskeletal issues. He’s got lots of experience across acupuncture and myofascial release. He is adept at applying this knowledge to your specific situation and working with your feedback to help you get better. I couldn’t recommend him more!

I was experiencing a lot of pain from my hip, glutes and calf making it difficult to sit or get out of bed in the mornings. After 10 acupuncture sessions with Duncan I can say that I was able to exercise, sit in comfort and no longer have a tight calf. Duncan explained how the needles and acupuncture works. I’m very lucky to have an excellent acupuncturist so close to my home and would defined recommend him to anyone.

I was looking for a solution for the carpal tunnel that was in both of my wrists. I am doing significantly better after four sessions. Very knowledgeable and helpful! Gave tips and stretches I can do on my own at home which I appreciated.

I visited Duncan for acupuncture and I had the most wonderful experience with him. I had been experiencing cramps on my face, rhinitis every morning, headaches, irregular periods, myoma, constant breast tenderness, ovarian cyst, constipation, thyroid node, inflammation in my lymph nodes on my right armpit and pain in the same area (the doctors told me to wait 6 months because they couldn’t find a problem with my exams).

My boyfriend is having his treatments with Duncan and he gave me a gift to try acupuncture and the results were incredible. After the first session all my symptoms improved, I noticed that cramps on my face, headaches, constipation, rhinitis every morning, pain on my right armpit disappeared, and after the 3rd session my period arrived without problems and was normal and desinflamation on my lymph nodes. After every session I noticed a lot of happiness and relaxation.

In my opinion as a GP I think it is important to try acupuncture (if you have small symptoms or otherwise) because you will notice a huge difference in your daily life. Duncan is highly professional, highly knowledgeable, he really cares about our problems, very helpful, with great skills and great energy. I am happy and grateful to him and I highly recommend.

I’ve been suffering from chronic sinusitis and migraines for at least 8 years and multiple appointments with ENTs and GPs have not helped. I decided to take massive action and try acupuncture with Duncan. After explaining my history and symptoms Duncan made a treatment plan over a series of visits to target the problem areas. From the first treatment I felt changes and around 6 treatments later I have had huge reduction in the migraines and more control over the sinusitis symptoms. Duncan is highly knowledgeable, kind and amazing at what he does, so don’t hesitate to try him out if you have a condition that medicine just cannot resolve. Highly recommended and thank you :)

I have been working with Duncan for afew months now I so can give an honest review in saying that he has genuinely changed my life. He has successfully worked on a persistent hip pain no other professional has been able to figure out. He has most recently helped with a foot issue I have been ignoring aswell as acupuncture for other issues. I love my sessions with Duncan as they are specific to how I am feeling on that day whilst also focusing on my original issue that I know will take some time longer. I love his space and energy and the multiple practices he uses in each session. It is always a delight to see him, I know I will leave feeling good.

I had a neck injury years ago, and spend long hours working in front of screens. I first visited Duncan a few years after the accident for acupuncture and I felt immeasurably better after a few sessions. I’ve returned recently because my back problems have got worse with age and work. I’d been visiting a local osteopath for a few years with slow incremental change - most of the relief and improvement I could trace to my own level of exercise; I was feeling frustrated, and received a random email from Acubody recently, and decided to revisit. Duncan’s approach is unique ans multidisciplinary. Diagnosis discovered other issues not seen by my previous osteopaths, and I felt the benefits after the first session, my shoulders and neck felt unlocked and free for the first time in 6 months. I’ve had 2 sessions since and I can feel huge developments towards better movement and pain free living. I visited osteopaths and acupuncturists separately before, but the Acubody approach combines the best of both, and the exercises are much simpler and better general exercise, than previous osteo’s micro stretches, and come with video instructions to remind you at home.
The sessions are relaxed, comfortable and courteous. I’m annoyed with myself I didn’t come back to Duncan sooner!

I chose Acubody because I had been experiencing a general unwellness/fatigue and also pain from old injuries, plus I knew that I would enjoy the Chi Gung element, which would be essential if I was going to stay committed to something. I wanted a one to one trainer for specific help with my injuries and also to keep myself accountable. I am just now completing the 100 days program, with significantly less pain, a lot more muscle tone, a renewed love of movement, a lot more energy and I'm pretty sure an improved immune system. I couldn't be happier with this bespoke training. Duncan has a significant depth of knowledge which has given me confidence and optimism for a body that I had previously felt was in decline. I have established a regular practice which I'd never managed before and I know that all I have learned is having a profound effect on my health, well being, strength, balance and confidence. I so happy about it and grateful to Acubody. Thoroughly recommend.

After the hour my ability to move was dramatically improved and the pain significantly reduced.
I was given a few exercises to do at home to keep the problem from coming back.

I have been seeing Duncan for acupuncture and myofascial release for 4 years now, he has treated a childhood problem with my shoulder and my back so successfully that I now see him to maintain my general health, can't recommend him enough for long term sustained health.

I found Duncan after seeing multiple physios who had very little constructive to say about a back/glute/hip problem that was making day to day life pretty unbearable. He spent real time (every session) listening to me, and doing multiple diagnostic tests of my movement and pain and got to both the reasons for the acute flare up AND the underlying multi-year drivers. I was on a path to MRIs and injections and all sorts, and Duncan sorted me within weeks just with physio massage, acupuncture and at home (managable!) exercises. Honestly cannot speak more highly about his entire approach, he puts so many other “famous” bodywork people to shame!

I came with an ankle injury that I'd had for 8 months and after cortisone shots, MRI, CT and ultra sounds I still didn't know the root cause or cure. After 4 sessions of acupuncture with Duncan the pain has already gone down and I have hope that I might actually be pain free one day! Looking forward to seeing the results from my next sessions!
