Andy and his guys helped me move from Zurich to Oxford with all of my stuff and some furniture. I used them as my brother had had a good experience in the past and they didn't disappoint. The delivery and collection was fast, efficient and professional. I have no complaints at all! All of my valuables arrived undamaged and Andy helped me a lot by being accommodating with the hour of the delivery to make sure someone could be there. I will likely move again in a few years and I will certainly be contacting Andy again.

We've used AJ Movers twice in the last 4 years for a move from Switzerland to England and then England to France. Communication is great, the teams were on time, are reassuringly competent and they move quickly. What more could one ask for? They will be our first call if we are moving again.

Andy and his team organised my home furnishings from Uk to Spain. No problems , everything went smoothly. The delivery guys were fantastic, unpacked , took to rooms I wanted and all the time with a smile! 😃 Great Job!

I have used AJ Movers twice to move my stuff from the UK to Switzerland, in 2023 and 2025. They were excellent. Very efficient, polite, good value, they loaded everything onto the truck quickly, delivered in good time, unloaded and carried the boxes into my place. I would recommend AJ Movers anytime.

Andy’s team have been fantastic and very professional. They have done 2 moves for me, one from the West Country and a second from Switzerland, and both to my new home in the Isle of Arran. Complicated journeys involving ferry bookings. On both occasions the collection and delivery went as planned and very efficiently and their ETA was spot on. One small unimportant item was accidentally left unseen on the van after delivery and Andy had it posted up to me immediately on discovery. A unexpected surprise, for which I was very thankful. They are a great team and should I ever need to do another move, I will use them again and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for help in either the UK or abroad.

They are the absolute best movers I ever had ( and I moved a lot in my life!) Kind, polite, respectful, very caring with your stuff. I cannot recommend them enough. I will only use them from now, especially that their prices are very reasonable.

The guys that helped me move from Germany to France were extra kind and reliable. As a woman moving alone internationally, it was a relief to be able to trust and count on them during the entire process. Communication was swift, and the entire thing was very human, which was exactly what I needed in such stressful times. Thank you tons!

Unprofessional AJMovers: I accepted a quote for disassembly and 2 men for one cupboard to be dismounted and moved from Germany to the UK with fixed deadline of over 5 weeks as the house was sold handed over. I was happy to wait for a suitable date and they gave repeat assurances that they would meet the deadline. Finally pressing them, they could offer collection 2 days past the handover suggesting I leave the cupboard outside (yes seriously!). They refused to collect from my parents’ new house (300 miles further away) where we would need to move the cupboard now with the other contents. They insisted only late collection from the original site was possible. Their professionalism is best reflected in their 2 statements “This is transport and all is changing everyday!” and “So always trying our best but sometimes we just don’t have vans in your area!” – My question “Why do you quote if you do not have vans in the area for 5 weeks?” remains unanswered.

- Collection booked well in advance, plus whole process was quicker than anticipated - arrived on a Saturday and delivery done on the Monday. Andy was also able to move the collection earlier than originally planned. If you can’t be flexible, this type of service might not be right for you but for us it worked perfectly
- All goods arrived in original condition

Andy was very communicative, and even was able to bring forward the collection/delivery of our piano. The two delivery guys did an heroic job getting the piano up our steep front steps and they could not have been more careful with it. We're very grateful and will use AJ Movers again. Thanks!

We needed to move house (3 bed) going around 250 miles across the country from Eastbourne to Sheffield, and found Andy through Shiply. Andy was so helpful throughout the process, being really responsive and patient as our completion date changed at short notice.

He offered a really competitive price (and significantly less than other removal companies we had contacted directly), with the assurance of being fully insured, and sending two guys. We knew he had lots of other vans, so it felt low risk in going with him compared to some of the 'man with a van' quotes we received. We ended up needing to add a couple of items last minute that we'd failed to sell, which Andy let us do at no extra charge as he knew they'd fit in the van that he was sending, which relieved so much stress.

The removal guys on the day were incredible - so friendly, efficient and effective. They packed up, dismantled then reassembled our beds and unpacked everything in record time. Would recommend to anyone looking to move.

Absolutely brilliant service today to move my piano from my home to my storage unit on moving day. I was unable to be present and the drivers even re-jigged my storage items already stored to fit the piano safely and flush to the unit, freeing me up some extra space. Very professional service with a call en-route with an eta and constant contact from Andy via text while I was working. I thoroughly recommend! Thanks again chaps

After being let down by 2 other companies, an international move was keeping us up at night! The service with AJ Movers was everything we needed and more. These guys are great. Everything went smoothly from getting the quote to collection and delivery. Its quite stressful bringing back personal items from the south of France to the UK but they just took that stress away. Friendly, helpful and very hard working. Great job.

Andy and his team were excellent from the moment they first provided an online quote to the actual delivery of my stuff in my flat in Denmark.
I was a little stressed thinking that moving my life's possessions - valuables, frames, collectible and delicate items including vinyl and instruments - from the UK to Europe would be costly and risky. Not least because of Brexit! AJMovers did everything to make me feel at ease and I was so happy to receive everything in less than a week.
I strongly recommend that you consider their services - whether the job is big or small, and especially if you are also planning an international move.

Movers were friendly and took good care of everything. The pick-up/delivery took place on the agreed dates. Approx. hour of arrival was communicated via email on the day before (with more updates via call/text on the day itself), which was really useful to avoid having to block out the entire day. The value for money was good. All in all super smooth and easy!

Both our movers were delightful. Pleasant and hard working, despite the warm weather! Very clean and tidy, and took such care with our family baby grand which is a much treasured piano, but enormously heavy. Knew exactly what they were doing with pianos. Would definitely use them again. Thank you guys!
