White Glove Movers (A J Movers) said that they could move a piano for us on a specific date and within a specific time frame and they did just that.
They carried it out expertly - no trouble, no fuss, no damage, good communications, nothing but courtesy and professionalism.
We are grateful to them for their excellent work and recommend them without hesitation.

I'll always pay a little extra for quality and reliable service and these guys haven't let me down with the 2 jobs they've done for me so far, another move from London to Manchester, collected white goods and furniture in about 6mins, flew up motorway and dropped stuff in 8mins in perfect condition about 3 1/2 hours later.... No fuss, reliable comms and trustworthy... Literally have no clue what the neg reviews on here are about... Many thanks to Andy and his team.

These guys came up trumps. We moved from France to UK and they handled everything. They collected when they said they would, delivered when they said they would and handled the customs formalities. What more could you ask for?

Found them through Shiply. Avoid at all cost, many items were damaged and they refused to claim insurance to pay. They are taking advantage of the lack of legal regulations in home removals as it would be a nightmare to get police involved.

We moved the contents of our one-bed flat from the UK to the Netherlands. The guys who did the pick up and the delivery were extremely careful, quick, professional and gentle, and nothing was damaged at all. The communication from the central office was quick and precise, except for a misunderstanding about the time of pick-up (they postponed it by 5 hours due to a technical problem, but then arrived after just 1 hour). I was also not told in time that they expect the payment to be received in full before they start unloading, so I had to go and find a cash machine last minute. But they were patient and everything was sorted.

AJMovers carried out a fabulous job, our plans were only confirmed very late, but this did not affect the move. Nothing was too much trouble. The team were very friendly and hard working.

It couldn’t have been easier with White Glove Removals. They were quick to respond to my initial enquiry and once I had accepted the quote, Andy kept me updated.
The piano left the UK on Monday and was with us in France on Tuesday. The removal men were extremely careful with the piano.
I would definitely use this company again.

I did my research on moving companies as it was VERY important for me to have a smooth experience moving from the UK to Spain. I have a 1-year-old baby, which makes everything exponentially more complicated, and I was willing to pay extra for a company that would go the extra mile to make things easy. Folks, this is NOT that company. Every step of the way, they messed up, and then they charged US for it.

Here's a timeline of our interactions:
1. I find these guys and hire them to come on 1 July.

2. My moving date shifts one day earlier to 30 June, and I communicate this to the movers via email. They confirm, and I have email record of this.

3. 30 June arrives. No one shows up.

4. No one answers any of the phone numbers I have for them. I find a customer service number in someone's "out-of-office" message (it isn't available ANYWHERE else). Customer service gets in touch with them and I finally hear back that they still think my move is tomorrow, 1 July.

5. I have to change my husband's flight so that he can stay to oversee the move, which costs £175. I ask the company to cover this; they immediately say no. I have to fly alone with my 1-year-old.

6. They send us an invoice for the move. They charge us an extra £500 + VAT for items that they say were not on the inventory -- which is fair enough, although unexpected. They also charge us for a "sofa," which is absurd since we don't own one. They took off this charge when we contested it, but I want to mention it here because it illustrates how absolutely incompetent they are.

6. Fast-forward a few days later to Spain. They want to charge us for having to wait a day until they can transfer the boxes to the new flat -- but they ALREADY charged us for this. I have to show them their own invoice to prove it. Again: incompetent.

7. They say they'll show up between 7-8am. My husband goes there to wait from 6am to be sure. No news from them during this time. At 9am he gets a call from them asking for the address (how do they not know this already?!). They don't show until 10am.

8. They want to park right in front of the flat, but it is illegal to park there. My husband explains this to them, and they call their boss. They then say either they park elsewhere and charge us £700 or they park in front and we have to pay any fines. They try parking in front and immediately all the neighbors start complaining, and then the police show up within 5 minutes and tell them to get out.

9. They hold our stuff hostage until we pay them £700 because they can't park illegally.

10. Some of our stuff broke (a glass frame, a 3D printed statue, our bbq grill cover) or was damaged (a custom-made wooden table, a wooden baby toy). We advise them of the damage while they're here in person, including have them take pictures of it. We also took our own photos. We send photos plus original receipts for the items to them via email since we paid for insurance, and we ask for it to be reimbursed. We're told that just to file an insurance claim costs £350 (?!?!) and that we likely won't be paid back more than 25% of the original cost of the items. They offer to pay us £100 "out-of-pocket" just to be done with it. We accept as at this point we're absolutely disgusted with the entire experience and just want it to be over.

The original bid they made for us and we accepted was £2000. We ended up paying £4776 due to them nickel-and-diming us (plus having to change a flight) because they KNEW we were stuck with them and had to get our stuff back. This is not to mention all our stuff that was irreparably broken and damaged.

THESE GUYS ARE EXTORTIONISTS. DO NOT TRUST THEM. I saw all the positive reviews and thought this looked like a legit company, but I was DEAD WRONG, and you will be too if you end up contracting this crappy excuse for a moving company.

They were absolutely excellent. Competitive in terms of price, great and frequent communication, delivered exactly when they said they would - I would use these guys again without hesitation. Thank you!
