I have used Algarve Removals for a number of years to carry personal items back and forth to Portugal. During all that time I have found the service to be outstanding. All goods have always arrived on time and the staff both in the UK and in Portugal are super efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend Algarve Removals to anyone.

Customer Service from Algarve Removals is outstanding. The staff are charming, helpful and knowledgeable. Not only are their quotes much cheaper than other deliveries to the Algarve but the service of enabling goods to be delivered directly to the warehouse, makes life so easy.
I would not hestitate to recommend Algave Removals.

Transfer was decent, a couple of broken things after paying the extra £75 "insurance", which if you've packed your stuff properly, is a scam. We had a tall lovely guy, and a smaller younger man (who was moody whilst thinking of ways of adding additional charges) come and collect our stuff.

The tall lad was a very friendly, chatty giant of a man, and seemed to crack on with a bubbly personality. Whereas the younger guy walks in with a stern face, calculating everything and seeking a way to get more money out of us.

The lady who gives quotes, shouldn't be giving quotes!!! We were quoted 6.5 cubic square metres for £1060... We were charged £2205 for 12.5 cubic square metres once everything was already loaded into the van, as according to Ash they only quote based off of the sizes of their medium sized boxes that they pack... AWFUL!

I have always and will continue to recommend Algarve Removals, as they have amazing attention to detail, great customer service, and always a friendly face at either the pick up or the drop off. If you go to their collection point the service is second to none and the item/items are instantly to hand. Perfect service every time. Thank you Algarve Removals!

Our first experience with Algarve Removals was June 2012 when they moved us "lock stock barrel ladder and wheelbarrow" total house move from Scotland across 5 countries to the Algarve. The service was exceptional and less than we thought. Since then we have used them on numerous occasions to bring shopping items to the Algarve, and found this to be a very reliable service keeping us informed each step of the way and can not fault the service.

I recently moved to Portugal and worked through an agent, who recommended algarve removals. All was going well until pick up day from the unit, when I got charged £250 for repacking items, that I Don,t think needed repacking.
When my furniture got to Portugal and I later went through my boxes several times, I realised a lifetime collection of record vinyls was missing, bedding, towels and some other items.
Upon contacting the agent and algarve removals, I was asked "were they in the unit" "could I of put them somewhere else" then they told me the case with the vinyls in was not there. I had lived in my UK home for 40 years, I am absolutely sure I know what was put in that unit by my husband and son.
I have had to draw a line under this as it was making us ill, I know someone has taken this, but they assure me these things wereb,t there.
Be warned they do not deal with complaints with empathy.

I have now used Algarve Removals for the past 11 years with regular removals from the UK to the Algarve. Over this time they have offered a consistently personal and very good service, and are a pleasure to deal with

I cannot praise the staff enough at Algarve Removals in the UK and Portugal. From the initial enquiry to the point of delivery. Extremely professional, polite and efficient. Clearly explaining how the logistics work and what to expect. As well as the constant changes where we added double the amount of boxes.

Hard working collection and delivery guys both in the UK and Portugal, we are in a 4th floor apartment where the lifts were too small to carry the furniture so they had to use the stairs, it was much appreciated and thankful for the service.

Very reasonable on cost and hassle free documentation. Very impressive time scale, exactly 1 week to deliver everything in one piece. We will be using them again in the future to go from south to north of Portugal.
