Called an engineer to fix the oven. Told them the make, model, error code in the booking. He looked at it, agreed it was broken, and charged for the call-out. Gone in about a minute. Said he'd be back to fix it at no extra charge, but never heard from them since. Excellent service if you are not certain your appliance is actually broken, and would like a second opinion. Not cheap, but given me real peace of mind. Money well spent. If not for that, I might still be wondering if my lasagne really is cold, or if I am imagining it. Couple of weeks without an oven, but now I can confidently move on with finding someone capable of actually fixing it.

Ordered a dishwasher with fixed deleivery date. Noone showed up on the day. Just had a rude guy on the phone telling me it would be "later" and I needed to wait until it arrived at their shop. Also had to open a Klarna account to pay online, weird. The price was 10-20% cheaper than other options though. I did get prompt cancellation of order. Would not recommend overall

I’ve never spoken to a ruder customer representative. I phoned as I received an email to say my booking had been cancelled, and the agent gave me not reason and put the phone down on me. Very poor.

Cruel. Took money but machine's still broken. Sent frightening messages. Hung up on the phone. No sign of refund. Do not go anywhere near. Give them no money. Do not let them in to your house.

I paid £538.99 for washing machine. It never turned up. They don't answer calls or messages well. its been 5 months and i still haven't received a refund! I'm just thankful i paid on Paypal so Paypal can support me, otherwise this company would have simply stolen my money and left me!

A week ago I had an engineer coming to fix a switch on my microwave/oven. He touched the other switch and it came in his hand, telling me it is also broken, he advised me that I need to order new switches and that I need to pay for his visit there and then. Following my query, he assured me that the firm would definitely come back to fix the switches without extra charge once I have the parts. When the parts arrived, I called the company and made another appointment for the engineer to come and fix the switches into place. The engineer never arrived. I tried to call the company a few times but there was no reply. Instead, it was directed to the engineer that has originally came to my house and charged me. Instead of listening to what I had to say, he was extremely rude, unpleasant and unhelpful. I never heard from the company, never given an explanation or a rescheduling of an engineer. I am just wondering whether this is another scam of the elderly??(I am 76)

They are so rude, they answer the phone like you are an idiot calling them. They cancelled my request as they “didn’t have an engineer” and referred me to another idiot company, saying they can’t repair my machine. I spent the morning waiting. And while talking the man hung up. Not a professional company. Run by 1 idiot on the phone.

While this company pretends to sound good and real, they are not. I had a confirmation of my booking and that is why I waited. Clearly I can write English and know what customer service is. Don’t waste your time or money with this company!

I just red all the other reviews and thIs shop does the same to everyone; I went into the store and paid for 3 appliances the sales person said that will be delivered 3 days later , when chasing he said he couldn't deliver the goods and he offered the money back. He gave me a print out paper stating that the refund was done and to wait for ten working days ; the time has passed and no money in my account and everytime I call he puts the phone down and when I go to his business the shop keeps mostly shut. I keep emailing and he doesn't reply. so there is no way to get in contact with him. He is a professional scammer and he has my money since 25 days ago and still he hasn't refund it. AVOID THIS BUSINESS AND DON'T TRUST THE GOOD REVIEWS SHOWING IN HIS PAGE.

I just don’t understand, after all this reviews how authorities can’t find this fake company and close down, my dishwasher never came, the guy who was answering call swearing at me, then I understood it’s fake, luckily I purchased with credit card, and could get my money back from the bank

Genuinely appalled at the behaviour of the call handler for this company. Engineer attended in October and was excellent – diagnosed the fault quickly. Promised to source the part needed. We then did not hear anything for weeks. Upon chasing ourselves, we were told that they were not able to source it. We managed to source it ourselves within 24 hours and order it, and book the engineer to fit it. The engineer did not attend on the planned day, despite not cancelling the appointment in advance. When I phoned to try and rebook, the call handler was repeatedly exceptionally rude, shouted at me on the phone, and hung up on me. I tried to call back to enquire when it would be possible to book a date and he hung up on me again a total of five times over two days. Genuinely shocked at his behaviour. We are now left in a position where we have no engineer booked, no idea when we will hear when one is available and Christmas is around the corner and our oven does not work. We are unable to use another company without wasting money as we have already paid the fee. Extremely disappointing.

Engineer didn’t turn up, phoned to question what happened, when trying to be polite was met with hostility, rudeness and hanging up on me. Refused to reschedule another appointment. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Ordered a hob and oven from this sorry excuse for a company on 29th October. Due to delivery issues with the supplier I did not receive the items so a refund was supposed to be issued (all within the 14 day time frame). 3 emails and 4 telephone conversations later and I have received nothing. Reassuringly on the phone they state you will get the refund in the next few days. It has now been over a month. I am not sure if they know anything about the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or Consumer Contracts Regulations but I want my refund back as soon as possible. If you do actually have any form of customer service my order is ORD-25-10-29-00172476.

I have been waiting for over 3 months for a refund for an oven that was never delivered. Having ordered and paid online, I was given me a date for delivery of the oven, but they didn't turn up. I called and they said they didn't have it in stock and they would deliver the following week. They didn't turn up again and when I called they said they did not have any of the ovens in stock and would refund me immediately. After one week called multiple times over the next few days and finally got through to someone, who assured me that the next day the refund would be made. I have since called at least 25 times and sent multiple emails and 3 months later I have had no response or refund. This is a terrible company and I would not recommend anyone using it as they have basically stolen money from me.

Extremely disappointed with the service from Appliance Centre London.
I phoned them at 09:27 this morning (the call lasted 1 minute 46 seconds) to politely enquire about a paid service visit for my appliance. While I was explaining my question, the staff member cut me off mid-conversation, spoke over me, and ended the call abruptly.
I was not asking for anything complicated or free — I was attempting to book a chargeable engineer visit — yet I was treated rudely and not given the chance to finish a single sentence.

This level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable from a company that advertises itself as an approved repair service.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise anyone not to use this company.
I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Nothing with with the engineer. But the guy in office (Sam) shouldn’t be anywhere near a phone. Rude beyond credibility. Haavemt been hanged up twice. Simply by asking what wrong with machine. He just said we call tomorrow. And down goes the phone.
Won’t use them simply because of him.

I strongly advise anyone NOT to buy from Appliancentre.

I was initially lured in by a cheaper price than other online retailers for the same Miele dishwasher, together with a confirmed delivery slot for 29 October, 09:00–12:00. No one turned up and I received no call, no email, nothing.

After that, I sent several emails asking for an update or refund and received no reply at all. I tried calling multiple times and each time waited more than 10 minutes in the queue without anyone picking up. The online order status still showed the original delivery date as if everything was fine.

Eventually, I managed to get through to someone on the phone. The agent told me that they were unable to obtain the machine, even though it had been advertised as in stock at the time of my order, and that I would receive a full refund with written confirmation by email.

As of the following day, I still have no refund confirmation, despite this clear promise. When I asked about compensation for the extended delay, lack of communication and inconvenience caused, the agent simply hung up on me.

So I have had no delivery, no written confirmation of a refund, and extremely poor and dismissive customer service - it may be a complete scam!
