Insulting staff.
Well, what can I say….. my daughter was told this morning, over the phone by a , I won’t call him a Gentleman, (because he certainly wasn’t), that a 71 year old woman, wouldn’t know how to use a washing machine.
Really???????? That is a disgusting statement and an insult .Unfortunately, I am the 71 year old, who spent money in your shop!!!! Never again. Rude staff. The female assistant, is arrogant, too. I will definitely take my custom elsewhere.
I have read your reply and you do not apologise for the insulting comment about 70 year old people, not being able to use a Washing Machine…….I wonder why???????

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We are genuinely sorry to hear that you felt upset and disappointed following your telephone conversation with us. We certainly do not want any of our customers to feel that they have been spoken to disrespectfully or that their age has any bearing on how we assist them.
We have looked into the circumstances described, and we would like to clarify that our team were trying to establish the details of the appliance and understand the issue you were experiencing so that we could properly assist you. Unfortunately, without a postcode or any details that would allow us to identify the purchase, we were unable to locate the order or establish which washing machine was involved. When our colleague asked what problem you were experiencing with the appliance, we were also unable to obtain any further information beyond the statement that it was “not fit for purpose.”
We absolutely understand that customers have rights when it comes to faulty or unsuitable goods, and we are more than happy to investigate and discuss those rights with you. However, in order to do so, we need to be able to identify the purchase and understand what issue you are experiencing with the appliance.
We are sorry that the conversation became frustrating and that you came away feeling dissatisfied. That was certainly not our intention. We would welcome the opportunity to look into this properly and hopefully resolve the matter for you.

Brilliant service
Not only are ASD Home Appliances competitively priced, but the customer care and service is outstanding. We had an issue with the dishwasher purchased & installed, but ASD sent the installation engineer James (who is a credit to the company!) back the very next day to help us out. Sadly the issue couldn’t be resolved, despite James’ best efforts, so ASD arranged for a replacement to be delivered and installed the next day. I will definitely recommend, and will use again.

The member of staff was very friendly…
The member of staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and gave us great advice. The prices were good with free and rapid delivery. The delivery driver was so helpful, a credit to the store.

New Fridge/Freezer to replace old.
The lady in the shop was most helpful. We bought exactly what we wanted at a very good price. The delivery was on time and the young man who carried out the delivery and recycle the old fridge freezer was absolutely first class. He was so obliging it was unbelievable. He changed the doors to opening in the other direction and checked everything was working fine before he left. There was no mess or inconvienience. First class service.

Great value products.
Great value products. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Flexible regarding delivery times. Hard not to give five stars, but I just can't this time. Maybe next, I would buy from them again in the future.

We had problems with our washing…
We had problems with our washing machine that we had had for years. Contacted ASD and they gave us a contact number for an engineer to look at a repair. The engineer asked us what issues we had and told us that it would be a costly repair and cheaper to get a new washer with a garauntee. We then contacted ASD who gave us a choice and delivered it the following morning and fitted the new washer and took away the old one.
Service was absolutely fantastic.
