Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service, this program is in deep dive. It doesn't matter if, like me, you are a top tier member for over 15 years (Diamond / Emerald), you get zero respect, zero consideration, zero service, lots of meaningless statements and empty promises - the hallmark of bureaucratic incompetence, putting customers on hold endlessly for god knows what reasons, and all of that when they just don't flat out blame their airline partners.

They do not bother crediting miles from their One World alliance's airline partners onto your Asiamiles account UNLESS you claim those miles as missing yourself AND ensure to following up in endless phone calls with their untrained customer service hotline... There is zero care whatsoever here, zero interest in the customers beyond charging them extortionate airfares for mostly outdated aircraft cabins.

DO NOT be fooled by their lifestyle…

DO NOT be fooled by their lifestyle program using your Asiamiles to exchange for products. The products they send to you has a pattern of defective and breakdown within a year with no warranty. When you contact them, they take you through the garden to waste more of your time and money only to say nothing they can do. Avoid them!

No Support for Hotel Redemptions

None of the Support Reps from the Contact Us methods on the website and in the hotel confirmation have access to the hotel booking I redeemed on Asia Miles. I tried the WhatsApp feature and the hotline provided and not only they cannot help me, they couldn't give me a number to call. What kind of publicly traded company can't offer customer service for their products or services? Apparently, that's Hong Kong's flagship airline, Cathay Pacific.

No point writing email. Customer service is non-existent.

Totally unsatisfactory customer service. Waited 1 day for them to WhatsApp me before advising me to send email to reset my account. The tone of the customer service agent was very dismissive too.
I sent 3 emails, with “urgent” in my title as my miles would be expiring in 3 weeks.

SURPRISE!!!!!! NO RESPONSE. To this day, after 2 weeks, I have not received a single email.

Why am I not surprised? Totally regret transferring my credit card points to Asia miles.

Terrible. Horrible. Customer service. And I have 350k miles with them.

BAD MISTAKE. Total regret. Bring your miles elsewhere please.

Stuck in whatsapp hell loop

I have been trying to contact Asia Miles to sort out my account, but the experience has been a nightmare. When you try to contact them, you are routed to a WhatsApp chatbot, which tries to deflect you back to the website, making the process pointless. Even after you send a few more messages, the chatbot doesn't bother to read them and sends you to a queue.

I waited half a day for my turn, and after just 20 minutes, they disconnected the chat. If you respond to them, they say that you're a priority, but then you have to wait another half a day. If you don't respond within 20 minutes, they disconnect you again.

To make matters worse, they don't bother to read your last messages, even though the chat history is right in front of them. I have been stuck in this death loop for three days and counting. It's infuriating.

I don't know what's going on with Asia Miles, but this is a major red flag that something is deeply wrong. Maybe they are going out of business because of the pandemic, or maybe all of their best and competent people have left, or perhaps they are repositioning themselves as a no-service low-cost provider.

Very poor customer service

Customer service is very bad. If you contact them by phone, you have to wait for several hours until someone answers the call. I contacted them by Whatsapp, there has been no response for more than 1 week. If you type something in whatsapp again, then you will be put to another new queue. Endless and no answer!

No loyalty and poor flight options for members.

i've been very patient with this company because their flight service options were very limited. When trying to redeem points for a flight it was impossible to find a flight that didn't have tons of stops which would lead to a super long trip with crazy layovers! I was able to accumulate almost 20,000 points with them but without notice they said my points were expired!!! They told me the points are good for 3 years and they didn't even consider the fact that 2020 was pretty much shut down for travels due to the pandemic!!! It sucks when you go out of your way to support a company to accumulate points then to have them take them all away with out warning! What a waste of time and money with this crappy company.

有次我在日本遲到去機場,馬上想打 hotline 想他們更改機票,Asiamiles hotline 打了20 次都沒人接,令我在日本街頭滯留2天,還要收取我40 美元更改費用,我對 Asiamile 亞洲萬里通非常不滿,簡直垃圾公司

Asiamiles 亞洲萬里通, 是一間服務很差而又 很搵笨公司,他們的什麼獎勵換機票重來換不到,永遠都站機位滿、打電話 hotline, 永遠沒人接,辛辛苦苦存夠里數,又話里數到期! 不知所謂公司,不要再信 Asiamiles 亞洲萬里通, 不用為了里數受騙,您是沒可能換到機票!
