Audley Travel - UK Reviews

Charlotte was quick to respond, catered for our needs and answered all of our questions. We would definitely use Audley again. They put together a fantastic package for our family.

We’ve just returned from another amazing holiday experience organised by Isabelle at Audley travel. The friendly efficient service helps up have a stress free break and we know it will all go smoothly with any queries or questions easily dealt with - the recommended boat trip was a highlight!
Thank you!

We asked Audley Travel to organise an African Safari for us which included Zambia, Tanzania and Zanzibar. We had high expectations and Isabelle Evans from Audley arranged it all. The holiday was way above our expectations.
So our thanks to Audley travel and Isabelle Evans in particular.

Amazing Trip to Borneo. Our agent Charlotte planned everything in detail. Accommodation was great and drivers etc were all on time. We would never have been able to plan such a detailed itinerary on our own. We saw all the wildlife we hoped for, climbed a mountain and managed to fit in planned sightseeing bike rides and kayaking.

Robyn curated a fantastic safari trip to South Africa for us. The accommodation and service at our Simbavato Hilltop Lodge was excellent, overlooking a lake with a family of hippos who loved showing off! The guides were very knowledgeable and we saw the Big 5 and more. Cape Town is a beautiful city and we thank Robyn for organising our day trips and itinerary there too.

We booked our honeymoon to South Africa and Mauritius through Audley Travel and had a fantastic experience. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, everything ran smoothly, and the balance between safari, exploring and relaxing was perfect. The team were knowledgeable, responsive and easy to deal with throughout. A truly unforgettable trip and we would happily recommend Audley.

I chose Audley as they ticked all the boxes of the experiences I wanted as a solo traveller to Equador, the Amazon and Galapagos.
It was amazing! I felt safe and looked after throughout my trip, and saw and did all the things I had dreamed of. And more.
Amy Smale, my travel advisor, tailored my trip to suit me, was in regular contact to make sure I was happy and prepared. She was as excited as me for my big trip! Thank you Amy, you made my big celebration that much more special.

We wanted a small resort in Zanzibar, a bit of luxury, a lot of relaxation with a casual relaxed feel and we also wanted to visit Zanzibar. Isabelle at Audley ticked all of our boxes - based also on her personal experience at the Zawadi Resort. Everything she told us about was absolutely true and she understood our brief perfectly. We had the most amazing time. We have used Audley for many years and really would not trust out precious holiday plans with anyone else. Their specialists are so knowledgable, friendly and efficient. Really recommend the resort and certainly would recommend Audley.

Grace Naylor was amazing as our Iceland specialist ! We had a once in a lifetime trip and it couldn't have gone smoother thanks to Grace's planning. She was patient in answering all of my questions and the back and forth about the itinerary. All of the services she booked were incredible and at a very high standard. Couldn't recommend her more!

Tanzania Safari trip.

This was our first safari and second trio with Audley, and what an experience it turned out to be in Tanzania.

The whole trip was organised brilliantly from start to finish. A big thank you to Robyn, who answered all of our questions over the months leading up to the holiday and sorted out a few "unexpected" issues before we travelled. I just had to seat and enjoy the trip.

The trip was especially meaningful as we were celebrating my (slightly late! birthday, could have ask for a better one than seeing all those animals especially a baby elephant.

Our guide, Shaban, was outstanding. We never felt rushed, he shared so much knowledge and I specially enjoyed finding the Rhino and Leopard with him, and somehow always he seemed to know where to be at the right time. From our balloon safari over the Serengeti to watching lions, elephants, cheetahs and countless other animals and even a honey badger.

I'd also like to thank the team at our Tarangire camp. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble.

Thank you Robyn for organising this for us and it was lovely dealing with you. Thank you to our guide Shaban and everyone else who helped.

Isabelle from Audley helped us with a 5 day South African safari which was amazing!
We were so well looked after by Audley travel and beyond.

Thoughtful intelligent, friendly, patient and responsive agent. Planned a great trip. Would highly recommend

We wanted a stress free trip to South Africa without hiring a car. We decided to talk to Audley and had the pleasure to discuss all our requirements with Czeska Sztuka she was the specialist for this country and certainly knew all about the areas we wished to visit. We arrived in Johannesburg and were met by an agent to escort us to our driver and take us to our first stay. For us we were mixing a holiday with a visit to family and Czeska fully understood our need to mix the holiday with family visits. We wanted to stay in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Stellenbosch. Czeska came back with the prefect package for us and we had a wonderful time. She was on Hand before our trip and for odd questions during our trip and make sure we returned home safely. We cannot rate Audley and Czeska highly enough and will be using their services again, in fact we already have another trip booked. Everything with Audley is seamless and prefect. We highly recommend them and in particular our specialist Czeska

We booked our South Africa trip through Audley Travel and couldn't be happier with the service we received.

A special thank you to Robyn Hutchons, who looked after our booking from start to finish. She was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and responsive throughout the planning process, taking the time to understand exactly what we were looking for and answering any questions we had along the way. Her recommendations were excellent and she made the whole experience feel seamless and stress-free.

We were travelling to celebrate my partner's mum's 60th birthday, Robyn helped create an itinerary that was perfect for our group. One of the highlights was our stay at Last Word Kitara, which completely exceeded our expectations. As first-time safari-goers, we were absolutely blown away from start to finish!

Everything ran smoothly, allowing us to fully enjoy the trip without having to worry about the details.

We came away with memories that will last a lifetime and are so grateful for the support and expertise we received. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Audley Travel and would happily book with them again in the future.

Destroyed my life and left me feeling suicidal. Don’t ever book with them.

From enquiry, through booking & our adventure, Audley took care of everything. Fabulous advice and meticulous planning. Can't wait for another trip with them.

We have just had an amazing 21 night holiday adventure in Canada with Audley Travel. The planning and attention to detail of Lucy our main contact was exceptional. Lucy responded very quickly to questions and understood our requirements perfectly. Audley also have a 24 hour duty officer should anything go awry during the trip. We didn’t need to use this however it was reassuring to know it existed. Before travelling we received a hard copy ‘filofax’ including the detailed itinerary and also an App with the day to day key information which was very useful. If you are looking for a custom made holiday then I would highly recommend Audley and Lucy as a Canada specialist. Her local knowledge was great.

Sabreen Juneja at Audley helped me plan the debut trip of a lifetime, I so appreciated her knowledge and patience.

I unreservedly recommend Audley as a travel company! :)

This is the 3rd trip I have booked with Audley travel, and they simply are the best. We chose a trip to Florence and Siena with the help of the wonderful Tilly Harris. I was unsure about how much we could fit into 8 days, but with her guidance we had the perfect trip. Booking with Audley takes away all the strain and time of research and hands it to an expert who knows the area, hotels etc. Everything was so well coordinated, we did a number of trips and excursions and it all went like clockwork. Finally the hotels she chose for us were perfect. Can't recommend Audley highly enough.

We had the very great fortune of having Amy Waters as our specialist. From the very first call our experience has been amazing. Amy was hugely helpful with the planning of our trip - Singapore 4 days, New Zealand south and north island 5 weeks, the Cook islands 2 weeks and finally Sydney 5 days. It was a big trip with multiple flights, accommodation, trips and experiences, car hire etc etc.
Amy's knowledge of NZ was particularly valuable in guiding us on where we should visit, the types and activities we should book along with how long we should stay in each place.
For a trip almost 8 weeks long, every single element went to plan. I cannot recommend Amy and Audley travel enough. Thank you Amy
