Louise and Leah from Earls Park were both fantastic! They made our first time buying experience a wonderful experience. Compared to other developments that we have checked, They were the most friendly, professional and helpful in answering all questions we had. They are both an absolute asset!

Avants communication and organisation was terrible, we had people come to the door for works we were not informed of. Expecting a simple drain check but ending up with walls being drilled into. We understand this needed done but the fact that nobody though to tell us or explain why is absolutely appalling and, sadly, very much in line with overall experience with Avant to date.

We are only giving 3 stars due to Andy Jones, who was very considerate and helpful doing a professional and quality job as well as being kind and helpful. We appreciated his understanding when we were obviously quite frustrated for the reasons above. He helped make light of an annoying situation.

My experience buying with Avant has been good. Keiran at Hackett Grange in sales was a highlight of the process. 5 stars for him! He's knowledgeable, friendly, endlessly helpful, couldn't ask for anymore.

Avant have been generally good at fixing snags with the house, most things were sorted quickly. During the home visit, they didn't challenge snags and were extremely helpful. Most of our snags were cosmetic, no major issues.

Some things have needed to be chased, but generally communication has gone well.

We have just moved into our new home at Hackett Grange and so far we are very impressed. The sales process from beginning to end has been fantastic, Keiran has been amazing throughout, as first time buyers we have felt so supported from the first appointment to the day we got the keys. We were very unsure at first buying a new build due to the negative experiences you hear. However, so far our expectations have been exceeded with any issues being dealt with promptly and efficiently. The team have been great so far, definitely recommend.

Since purchasing out home from Avant Homes (Honeyman Park development), we have been faced with nothing but issues, both with the property itself and with the company's customer service.

Nearly 12 months after moving in, we still have several outstanding snagging issues that remain unresolved. Trying to get these problems addressed has been incredibly frustrating. The customer service team appear unwilling to take ownership of issues, communication is poor, getting hold of the right person is often a challenge.

Over the past year, we have dealt with numerous customer service representatives, yet despite repeated follow-ups, we seem to be no closer to achieving a resolution. There is little continuity in communication, meaning we frequently have to explain the same issues over and over again.

To make matters worse, I submitted a formal complaint in June 2026 and despite Avant Homes complaints procedure on their website, they seem to not be able to follow this either.

Buying a new home should be an exciting time (especially as this was our first home) , but our experience has been the complete opposite. We are extremely disappointed with both the quality of aftercare and the lack of customer support. I would not recommend Avant Homes.

Cheryl was absolutely fabulous throughout the whole process at Richmond Heights. Very knowledgeable and helpful and answered every question honestly and professionally.

So terrible customer service. They keep delaying everything for us. We have been following up since last 10 months and still they dont respond. Once the house is sold they keep ignoring you. Never ever buy house with Avant. We are in Darach fields Robroyston, Glasgow. Please stay away from this development.

The Team at Avant homes have been super helpful, kind & positive whilst sharing the process of buying my first house with me. Kornelija has been very understanding of my nerves and questions and has been patient all the way through and kept me excited! It was nice experience working with Keiran the sales Advisor who ttok his time to explain every details i need to know about the property,His calmenss and amazing skills worth all the penny ,We are confident on his advise and the information given were so helpful

Julia at Lawrence point is honestly an asset to Avant. We initially viewed another site which is not ran by Julia, and the plot just wasn’t what we wanted. We then realised there was a closer development so on an off chance I popped in to just collect a price list - Julia was so welcoming and cheerful, and our first encounter with her was amazing.

Fast forward two week, we have now reserved our dream plot at Lawrence point! Everytime we spoke to Julia via phonecall or in person, she could not be any more of a help if she tried - she fought our corner, she marched us to our plot twice to make sure we had seen everything and was 100% sure, she was not pushy, she was professional but equally she spoke to you like a normal human rather than a pushy sales advisor.

This whole experience for us so far has been because of how wonderful Julia has been! Looking forward to the finish line!

Ruby was so helpful, she made me feel very at ease and explained everything. as a first time buyer it can feel daunting but she made everything make sense!

This is a review to recognise the transformational work undertaken by Paul Weatherston at the Thistle Meadows development.

When you purchase a new build you do expect snagging and you will uncover faults with your property. Its how these are dealt with is the difference between poor client service and great.

My focus on this review is purely on the work undertaken by Paul in our kitchen. Paul was assigned to identify any leaking from pipes and appliances however found none suggesting a leak prior to moving in. Avant agreed to remediate lifting LVT flooring and replacement and alignment of new kitchen units which had warped due to water ingress.

Paul is a craftsman - he is meticulous in his work and has a very careful eye for detail. He undertook a significant project in our kitchen and has completed to the highest standard. There was no rushing however work was completed timely in a very professional manner. I would say that Paul is an amazing at what he does and has transformed our kitchen. Avant are lucky to have him!!

He is also a gentleman with impeccable respect for your home. Thank you Paul, really appreciated!

Keiran was extremely enthusiastic and incredibly helpful. If he didn’t know the answer he would find out.
He responds immediately to any queries and is excellent at keeping in contact with updates.

Me and my partner went to Lawrence Park to view the Leyburn showhouse last week, when thinking about purchasing a house at Earl's Park, then went again this weekend having reserved a house :) Julia was so happy and welcoming both times. Julia even remembered us the second time and was very happy for us that we have reserved a plot! Such a lovely lady and an asset to Avant Homes.

Laura at Smithy Wood Gate, Barnsley has been super helpful regarding buying a home with Avant homes, we’ve had regular updates, communication has been great. Laura is always warm and welcoming with any of our questions/ queries.
