Unreliable.
Got Cyber Insurance as an additional uppdate to my professional insurance . Thought would have a better peace of mind against the Cyber attacks in case it happens to me or my business.
I was wrong, Axis Reinsurance refused my claim after a Cyber attack that happened to me. The claim denial was vaguely explained bringing out confusing policy terms.
They will take your yearly premium , but when it comes to your claims, they will make all possible not to pay it off. They will advertise that you are fully protected, when in reality you are not. Don't rely on them for your business or any other personal coverage.
They just want your premium, you are not really covered for anything and they will make it clearly know when your claim arrives into their mailbox.

avoid at all costs. this company tries everything possible to avoid taking responsibility when you need to make a claim.
for context i made my 1st claim in 20 years of travel insurance for some stolen ski's. received the claim form and the 1st impression you get is 2 pages of them asking for any other credit card company or insurances you have that they can share or offset responisibility! when i did try and make a claim they refused to pay for our lift passes when our ski's were stolen because the lift passes themselves had not been stolen. they then wouldnt cover the cost of all the stolen ski's despite me being the policy holder making the booking with the rental company for them all. they then refused to pay for the replacement costs of the ski's totalling £1000 because of yet another technicality. basically you are paying this company a fee to their admin staff to find a loophole so they dont have to pay up. dreadful experience

I find it hard to imagine a worse insurer to deal with, a simple claim arose in a rented property in the South of England, following protracted discussion they claimed the property had not been adequately maintained - even though almost £10,000 had been spent in the past year. The problem related to flooring under a bath, which had been replaced ten years ago, at which time the flooring was fine. Do they really want us to lift up baths and check flooring every six months? I will take them on, initially via the regulator and then in court. The irony is, they used the same loss adjustor to refuse another claim 80 miles away in London relating to a roof. Clearly, it might help to take out insurance against the insurance this company offers. Avoid.

I have a landlord's insurance policy on a house. I recently had to make enquiries on a potential claim but have had 0 response and communication from the claim handlers. It seems that they are unwilling to even tell me whether I can make a claim on my issue or not.

If you are getting mails from a P.Richardson or R.Santos offering to help you recover funds you've lost to this company, it's a scam. S9S lawyer/NS2B forms/redirection charges also indicates that it is a scam.

Tried very hard to wriggle out of an insurance claim, demanding all sorts of documents and then stating, bizarrely, they didn't cover "one way trips" - ie outgoing flights - which is bonkers. Who's ever heard of a travel insurance provider that doesn't cover outgoing flight cancellations (due to medical necessity)? Won't be using them again.

A difficult relationship - expectations were unrealistic and impatient. Hard to communicate effectively. Unpleasant. Would recommend care and caution in any dealings.

Axis Capital is trying to get all fancy now but pretending they are emailing/calling from FCA. Well we did investigate and once again they are trying another scam. Please always verify with real FCA, they NEVER ask for money or email anyone from fake name.fcafinance.com
This people should be locked up forever! this is disgusting what they try to get away with, also blockchain will NEVER ask for money to be put in your ewallet, DON'T FALL FOR THESE NEWER SCAMS

They treated me bad now instead of Spear GPT it's now AXIS CAPITAL99 PRO I AM HAVIBG DIFFICULTIES GETTING MY MONEY BACK EVEN FROM ICE TRADE TOO. Not helpful its SCAM

Refused to pay out the fees to investigate a leak despite the fact that the policy clearly states that this is covered, their reason is that the leak did not originate from a pipe, This is hindsight information that is why the source of the leak was investigated!!!
Their complain handler was very patronising and had decided to find a reason not to pay out before he heard my reasons.
I referred to the Ombudsman and complained to the insurance broker for recommending them, avoid at all cost because they will find a reason not to pay out!

This company is involved in a tangled web of inter-company relations amounting in a cycle insurance policy by "Assetsure". Assetsure is a trading name of Hildon Park Ltd and they appear to be "claim administrators". So neither insurers or underwriters. There is also a company call Axis Managing Agency Ltd involved too. Perhaps a UK arm of Axis Capital?

Anyway, they have poorly handled a claim against them and are refusing to pay out the full claim amount when they are blatently liable. They have dragged it out and made my life hell.

AVOID!

Russian-speaking scammers that call pensioners and then steal their money. They have no any broker licence.

Someone called me, speaking only in russian, claiming I have created an account there, which I have not, and did not answer my questions how I can delete "my account". I don't know if these callers are just using the Axis Capital name, or they have stolen my data somewhere, but please check on this.
