I have ordered glasses from you before and been extremely pleased with the service I received. This time, when I ordered the frames, on the web page it said the frames I chose were in stock, so I ordered them and sent my prescription. They didn’t tell me that in fact the frames were not in stock and it wasn’t untill I contacted you quite a few times, did I finally find out the frames were not in stock and in fact the frames had been discontinued. I had paid for both frames and lenses at the time of placing the order. So I surched on line and found a pair in Hamburg which were sent to me first class which I then sent onto you. After you received the frames it just under a week before I finally received my glasses (unfortunately it came between a weekend. All took about one month

The eye test here is always extremely thorough with additional tests for glaucoma etc. The service is always friendly yet thoroughly professional. The prices for Oakley prescription glasses were extremely competitive with a 25% online promotion. The service was very quick with the glasses received in a few days. I've been going to B&H for my annual test for more than 5 years and can definitely recommend them.

Purchased a 3 frames 1st to see see which one I preferred. Once I decided on which one O wanted. I returned all 3 and got lenses for my selected frames. Really straightforward and great customer service.

I placed an order with Barclay & Hurst on Sunday 21st January, for a pair of Ray Ban frames with prescription lenses, I hadn’t used the company before, so I was unsure of what to expect with waiting times.

I received an email from Barclay & Hurst the next day, informing me that they were acquiring my lenses and to my surprise, on the Thursday I receive another email confirming my glasses had been posted to me.
Sure enough, my glasses arrived on Friday and they are absolutely perfect.

I could not have wished for better service, from ordering them to wearing them in 5 day’s flat, in my view is very impressive.

I’m not the sort of customer who would accept poor service or less than perfect goods, I am quite happy to complain when things aren’t right and I’ll persist until they’re put right, but I also give credit where it is due and Barclay &Hurst gave me excellent service, at a very competitive price.
I’m delighted with my glasses and will certainly be using them again in the future as well as recommending them to family and friends.

I ordered Rayban 5228 Havana prescription glasses on a Sunday evening online. They arrived Wednesday. Cost £80 including prescription lenses. The same glasses were £230 at Boots. Plus they rang and emailed me to keep me informed.

Every box ticked. Well done Barclay and Hurst.

I ordered a pair of prescription Ray Ban glasses on boxing day, on sale, with extra thin lenses. I received them in 6 working days. The prescription and lenses work perfectly and I am very happy with my order. I would highly recommend.

I ordered a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses in the Black Friday sale and never recieved them, I lost £85 to these people, please don’t do the same. Avoid and shop elsewhere.

I recently ordered a pair of glasses from Barclay and Hurst and they had a mild imperfection in the coating that was applied. I noticed this and Barclay and Hurst offered to remake the lenses as a gesture of goodwill. They even offered to measure my pupil distance after I sent through some pictures. Top customer service and would use again anyday.

I can’t recommend Barclay and hurst enough, amazing service every time. Very helpful staff especially Jenny who was more than happy to help me time after time to choose the right frames, brilliant customer service.

I ordered a pair of ray bans with RX and transitions- tbh I was skeptical at first but the arrives in 3 working days which was way faster than expected. The prescription is also 100% correct.

Possible that they were so fast because not so busy at the moment but I am very happy!

This was the worst service ever in my life when it comes to opticians. Unreliable, slow, and the instruction on the timelines for delivery od the ordere were not accurate. They have promissed my eye glassess to be shipped in 2-5 days, but I got the eye glasses no earlier that on 14th day after I placed the order online, despite the fact that on the day of purchasing it was clearly evident there were 2 frames in stock. Besides, I have no idea what they did with the lenses as I clearly cannot see so well with them as with other pair of glasses that have the same dioptry. Never ever again with this company.
