Our two Dobermans Buddy age 4 and Bea age 8 months were booked in for visit from dog trainer Kirsty from Bark Busters, Buddy’s issues were all lead related, we just could get him out the door without being dragged on to drive and up the road and Bea was beginning to follow suit..
Having had a long discussion about Buddy with Kirsty she suggested some exercises to be carried out which was a game changer instantly, which was amazing, same exercises for Bea..
So today is our second day with the training suggested and getting the dogs outside has been successful, so if you see a couple walking two Dobermans around bacons end Solihull with silly grins on their faces, that will be us..

Had gread pleasure meeting Ssrah for the first time today. We were anxious as had never had a trainer with our first dog but soon learned the value.

Sarah is so pleasant and eager to help owners in such a professional manor. I look forward to working with her over the next year helping us understand our new puppy Golden Retriever Lando, he is already a hanful and the first thing we took from BarkBusters was care, attention and devotion to their work.

Kirsty is very helpful and listens to you. Very polite and chatty. Gave lots of information and explained things well. Looking forward to next training session.

Lee always teaches simple effective commands which are working brilliantly in the home. We just need to get walking outside mastered and then we’ve cracked it. Would definitely recommend Barkbusters to anyone with a challenging dog 5*

A good experience for Maggie and myself. Kirsty built on what I was doing intuitively which raised my confidence, and gave useful tips such as standing tall when giving instruction, and the importance of persistence if Maggie is uncooperative. Maggie has responded well and sits and stays before food and going through doorways. Still a long way to go with real problem socializing with other dogs. I believe we will succeed

I paid £500 for the package (“as long as it takes”) to cure our Shih Tzu of his random and unexpected biting. But was given nothing that worked, after 2 visits and lots of trying the (limited) advice afterwards. I had enough, it was clear after these 2 visits it wasn’t going to works for us. As the trainer had only been twice I asked for a negotiated settlement to end the deal, thinking maybe £200-£250 back (which I suggested). I was told (which I later found IS in their t+cs) the £500 is just for visit one, and the rest are “free” follow up visits. Vey clever, so you can never cancel/get a refund as when they have been once you’ve “spent” the £500! They did reluctantly give me £100 back but I paid £400 for nothing of value. I can’t recommend this company.

Gavin was really friendly with excellent advice . Listened to all our concerns and spent time explaining everything . Love the written feedback . Practised a few skills there and then . Overall we are very happy . Would highly recommend. A great start thank you . 🤩

I was at my wits end and worried I should have my dog rehomed. I felt like the worst dog owner ever. She was barking at every little sound and running up and down. I rang to enquire and was treated with kindness and compassion and they quickly arranged for Ben to come and visit us. After the three hours I could not believe the difference in my confidence and my dog’s behaviour. Less barking but if she starts barking the techniques taught soon end it. I’m happier and she’s so much calmer. I could not believe it.

It was fantastic, Sydney was patient with us and showed us how to get Ronnie’s attention and slowly built up the learning to ensure not only us but Ronnie felt comfortable. Clear instructions followed up by an email with all the information we needed. Would highly recommend

The experience and skill of the Trainer (Tom) made the initial session relaxed, informative and ultimately produced positive outcomes.

The Comms from Bark Busters was second to none, regular contact leading up the session with insights into what to expect and what preparations were needed to put into place.

Kirsty is a great trainer. Made us feel very comfortable and confident in what we have to learn. She is very confident and knows what she is talking about. Our pup Loba (German Shepard) struggles with barking when in reactive environments aka. Door knocking or people getting up and walking away, aswell as other things. She was able to give support and recommendations as to what we could do and ways we could help Loba. It’s also a plus that Loba was happy to be around her. As a family we would 100% recommend!!

We asked Kirsty to help with our miniature daschaund … we had an initial phone consultation and she made it easy and straightforward to understand what training plans were needed… our initial first visit was 3 hours at the family home … Kirsty saw us without our dog and discussed trading options and gave us a plan of what to do… we then introduced her to our dog … literally after 30 mins she had totally transferred my dogs behaviour around!!Kirsty is absolutely incredible, I feel like I have a new dog and a fairy god mother to help me xxx

Kirsty came out to see us to help with our two Romanian rescue dogs, one of them was starting to show possessive and reactive behaviour and within 3 hours we had a massive improvement. Kirsty has given us the tools to be able to work with our pooches, and I'm incredibly happy with her training so far, it's early days but I'm looking forward to how they get on in the next few weeks!

We are very unhappy with this experience and feel they did not help us. We feel they completely deceived us in regards to the amount of money we had to pay. This is because we payed a large amount of money for such a little time and little help. They advised us to use negative reinforcement with our dogs and did not assist us with the issues we asked for their help in. Overall, they are useless

Tom has plenty of knowledge to share, he is confident in what he does. He doesn't overload you with too many training techniques, gets you to focus on 1 or 2 techniques at a time, gives plenty of information and is always a text/phone call away if we need any more advice.

We contacted Bark Busters as we had concerns with our dogs behaviour. A friend told me about Bark Busters and that they come to visit you at home. Making an appointment was easy.

Lynn was relaxed, friendly and very professional, she gave us some invaluable, very straightforward advice, from restricting the view our dog had of the street to advice on the best type of food for our dog. We were given steps to follow and practice daily to help our dog become less anxious in certain situations and after only 24 hours, we can see an improvement in our dogs behaviour.

I cannot recommend Lynn highly enough, she listened to our concerns, observed our dog, asked relevant questions and explained why our dog was behaving in that way. I wasn’t made to feel that we had done anything wrong. I would definitely recommend Lynn and Bark Busters for anyone who has concerns about their dogs behaviour.

I have 2 cane corsos with one specifically displaying fear agression. I have been turned down by every company I phoned and most never even returned my calls messages or emails. I was completely desperate as he’s overall a fantastic dog with a lot of potential and the faults with the dog are clearly a me issue. From the moment I received a callback from bark busters every single person I was in contact with was nothing short of fantastic. The support I received was something I could never even imagine getting. Never felt judged for any mistake I made. Abi and Kirsty have equipped me with very valuable tools to navigate my situation with objective is a very tricky one. I don’t think I can recommend them hard enough. Thank you so so much!

Abi was brilliant, she was very calm and explained everything, was very professional and friendly, didn’t feel judged or like we were wrong with our dogs, she helped setup the training and didn’t over do the training process or make it complicated, she set rules and explained the reasons why. We would 100% recommend abi to anyone with dog problems or needs help with there dogs. After one session we have already seen a small improvement.

Sarah has given us loads of advice and tips to help us calm our over exited staffie. We have followed her instructions to the letter and we are already seeing improvement. We are looking forward to her next visit for more training.
