Apart from having to wait over 20 minutes for my eye test appointment, with no updates from staff on why or how much longer, the test itself very very professional with good interaction/information from the lady tester.

Both my son's had their eye examination recently. The optometrists are great and the support with choosing the right frames and lenses is always spot on - thank you Harry!

The optometrist was very good, explaining what each test was for and translating the images. Her manner was professional but friendly and was most welcome.
I also appreciated her honesty in advising me that there was such a small change in my eyesight since the last examination, no new glasses/lenses were required.
I would happily return for my next eyesight examination. Thank you.

The all round experience at Bayfields in Lightwater is amazing, from the eye test to selecting my frames and collecting my new glasses. The staff put you at ease, are polite and kind along with excellent service.

Optician very understanding about my fear of eye tests and anything eye related. Both the person conducting the test and the person who arranged by glasses order were kind, patient and understanding. Highly recommend.

Didnt need eye test but wanted glasses could read and see short distance with. Harry spent a long time checking eyes out to ensure sight was perfect for new sized lenses. I have only had them a week and seriously considering having the lens fitted to a pair of my current reading glasses,

Not very pleasant experience, I was 10 minutes late for an appointment due to a confusion in the calendar, I asked if I could wait and be fitted in at some point and they basically said sorry can't help, you're too late so will have to rebook!

I booked well in advance and turned up on time. However, after 20 minutes of sitting around like lemon, no one came out to see me or apologise or offer an explanation and or when they could see me. The receptionist apologised but I was fed up by then and asked her to call me, as, when and if they can keep an appointment on time or within a few minutes.
It was incredibly rude and disrespectful for the optician not to have come out and offer an explanation or rearranged an appointment.
I haven't heard anything since so I will look elsewhere for eye tests etc.
I never had anything like this when he optician was an independent.
